Roberts has been great. But other than the cap issues, it really hurts to use up roster spots with guys that are singularly devoted to ST.

i hope we look for some replacements to guys like Roberts and Taiwan Jones that can give us more flexibility to use on offense or defense.

Isaiah McKenzie plays offense and can return punts. Maybe he or another player can return what few opportunities that is offered on kickoff returns.

The last time Ryan Pace used his 1st round pick on a QB he took Mitch Trubisky and left Mahomes and Watson on the board. How Ryan Pace is still a GM is a mystery. If he spends a first on Carson Wentz after that he wants firing on the spot.

    This is spot on

I'm so torn over this one, and just about everything that's inspiring me to root one way, or the other feels petty. To whit:

    1. As is the case with most people here, I really don't like Tom Brady*. Advantage: Chiefs.
    2. As much as I dislike Brady*, I dislike Belichick* even more. A Brady* win rubs his nose in the failure of Belichick*'s season. Advantage: Bucs
    3. The Chiefs were punks when they beat us in the AFCCG. I wouldn't feel bad to see them curb-stomped. Advantage: Bucs
    4. However, if the Bucs win, that means we lost to the losers, and that doesn't sit well. Advantage: Chiefs

I guess I just want to watch a good game...

It is inconceivable to me that any team would give up more than a fifth round pick for Wentz.  He was literally the worst QB in the league last year.  Let’s hope he’s traded to the AFCE...

When I read that they want a first round pick or maybe two for him, I laughed!! He was absolutely terrible this past year!! Why do coaches and GMs always think that they can make him great? I would draft a QB with my own first round pick rather than trading mine for him.

    I'd bet it's tight.

You need to get pressure on the QB with your front 4.   When it comes to winning championships, having a good pass rush is almost as vital as having a good QB or coach.

We weren't really able to do that all season.  Our top rusher had 5 sacks.  If Beane focuses on that, we'll be fine.

This is a problem for the Bills. Lack of a pass rush needs to be addressed. I would also add that we need help at the tight end position. Dawson Knox would have to improve greatly or they need to draft one number one, or go out and get one in free agency

Sad story. I'm sad for Reid, I'm sad for the families affected, I'm sad for everyone.

Just terrible news.  Really puts the game way down the list.

This is exactly right. The game is so far down on the list. When will people learn? DON'T Drink and Drive!!!!!!!!!!!! In the age of Uber and Lift, how can people make the decision to drive after drinking? So Effing Selfish!!!

I guess that's what you think about when your team finishes 8-8 and you aren't working hard getting ready for playoffs

I thought the comment about "dunking on them" was a bit trash but Whateves, he made the play.

    Cemetary though?  🙄

I could get tired of this guy

Low class comment for sure. Maybe there is a reason the guy was traded besides his on field play.

This is something that could very well come back to bite us in the as*.  If he gets cut, there's no way he dosn't get offers from other teams.  He's a good runner, and receiver, just needs to have a line that can create some running lanes for him.

Which brings us to the question, can this line black for any running back? I'm not so sure right now.

In every game, 50% of the coaching staffs get out coached .  It’s happened to the best of them.  It will continue to happen to the best of them.  They out coached a SB winning coach the week prior.

That's true, but in this game, one would expect MC D to do better after being so badly out coached in the first game. It was disheartening, to say the least. Is KC better than the Bills? Yes, but good coaching with a talented team usually gives you a chance to win. This was embarrassing.

It's looking like the Salary cap for next year will be somewhere around the $175mm mark.  If this is the case,  we won't have much room to do anything in free agency.   In order to create some room, we're going to need to let some guys go.  Here is a list players we can cut a reasonable price that would provide highest Cap savings:

    1. John Brown - Dead cap 1.6m;  Cap savings 7.9m

    2. Jerry Hughes - Dead cap 2.1m; Cap savings 7.5m

    3. Vernon Butler - Dead cap 1m; Cap savings 6.8m

    4. Quinton Jefferson - Dead cap 1.5m; Cap savings 6.5m

    5. Mario Addison - Dead cap 4m; Cap savings 6.1m

    6. Micah Hyde - Dead cap 1.6m; Cap savings 5.2m

    7. Mitch Morse - Dead cap 5.5m; Cap savings 4.8m

    8. Lee Smith - Dead cap 0;  Cap savings 2.25m

Imo, you absolutely cut ties with 1 thru 4. These are guys whose value to the team does not exceed the cap savings we would attain by letting them go.  This would equate to about $29m in cap savings.  Add in 5 thru 8 (excluding Hyde; too valuable to team to cut) and we're at a cool 42m of cap savings.  These players can all be replaced in the draft or cheaper route in FA.

So, most here feel Morse should be let go. Why do people believe this and who replaces him?

    Eh, I'm busy.

Seriously, though.  I don't think they are idiots and I am almost never critical of game plans because I don' know what they studied in the film room.  However, once the product is put on the field everyone can see it - coaches, fans, experts, and non-experts alike.  What I absolutely do NOT understand is stubbornness in sticking with something that is so obviously not working that drunken TBD posters can see it on their TVs.

Agreed, they needed to adjust and for whatever reason they decided not to, I guess?

Because they thought it would help us win

It didn't work. Including in this failed coaching strategy was going for field goals.

Why did McD opt to kick FGs when it was clear his defense wasn’t stopping Mahomes and TDs were needed to keep pace?

I think the pressure got to him a bit and he made some really questionable decisions/strategies for the game. Just gotta hope he learns from it....

There is no doubt that we were out coached in this one.

A lot of people are not aware what Power does.  I am.  If you want them to determine what your opinion is fine.  Saves brain energy.

I was merely giving you an example to help my point. I saw how disruptive Hughes has been with my eyes too. Hughes made plays to change the outcome. I think you're confusing me saying Hughes has been better to that of me saying Poyer is not good.
