  1. the fan base has more than just a little bit to do with that....
  2. I wish him well but also glad the Pegulas took action when it was needed. Under Whaley the Bills have the lowest retention and roster population of their own draft picks of any team in the NFL. End of story.
  3. the last mofo picked in the draft. quite an accomplishment!
  4. would have given an A except for all of the trade ups.
  5. at least he's not on an AFC east team!
  6. gruden was gaga for ryan nassib too. maybe peterman was under the radar because of his unlucky breaks.
  7. an under the radar player that became visible to McD through his luke keuchly / boston college connections.
  8. would be a nice capper to the draft!
  9. Absolutely agree. People are possibly disappointed that the Bills didn't pick "their guy". Lots of "guys" are rated and determined by this consensus of media writers who often have good insight but they aren't living it as completely as if their job depended on it- they have no skin involved in the game like pro scouts, GMs and coaches do. The other issue is that the draft is not a miracle worker, especially with teams that have multiple needs. If a team manages to get 2 or 3 solid starters out of a draft it is considered a success. With the exception of last season, the recent Bills drafts have been complete train wrecks. I give credit to Rex Ryan for last season and believe the Bills will reap some defensive benefits from it this coming season. The point is the process of building a contender is going to take time. What the Bills have done with this draft has been solid and they have picked solid players in areas of need. I personally like this as opposed to picking the so called draft super stars who are often self centered primadonnas and often come with excess baggage and are destructive to the team. Finally this years QB class is absolutely horrid, the worst in years, and I am proud of the Bills for realizing this and not wasting any picks on them. Hopefully a year from now will be a different situation and the Bills will be in the driver's seat. Not too bad IMHO.
  10. Last night the Bills picked up a solid CB that should have immediate impact (White was rated #2 by Ourlads) in the first round. They received in exchange an extra third round pick and a first round pick next year. This is a solid deal! If you don't think so- who was available at the #10 position that was worth a 3rd and next year's 1st? Who was available that was worth that cost, that gamble?
  11. go for gareon conley. the cowboys are still interested.
  12. everyone loved eric ebron too. get a CB.
  13. he was starting to last year in the last few games.
  14. the we can overpay for him in his declining years when he becomes a free agent
  15. As it stands the bills will be starting seymor and darby at CB next season. they need a starting CB ASAP. There should be one left at 27- gareon conley kevin king chidobe awuzie all have first round talent.
  16. the bears are absolutely insane- i would be busting the TV if I were a bears fan. giving away (3) picks to move up one spot? apparently they learned nothing from the jay cutler trade that set them back 10 years. the bills did the right thing and i bet they get a solid player at 27.
  17. there really wasn't a standout player left for the bills worthy of the # 10 pick. but a pick for tomorrow is a good deal.
  18. its a good trade. the bills picks were gone already.
