  1. EXTREME WARNING!!! These topics were previously discussed by the elite insider crew. Retract this post at once, or you may be labeled "troll" or "idiot". This is your only warning before action is taken against you. That is all.
  2. They'll have to do it offshore, or they'll catch hell from the Inquisition.
  3. That's about as strange as there being nothing good to watch on television. How do you think the Bills manage always to have losing seasons? Hint: It ain't merely bad luck.
  4. Sure, and there are many examples to prove this, such as ____ (??? fill in the blank, with very long list of examples) The physical/mental/psychological attributes of starters in the NFL comprise such a complex synergy of thousands of genes, each contributing some protein whose function in producing a phenotypes such as "huge, strong, with quick feet and reactions", that the relationships producing the complex phenotypes will never be learned. An NFL starter has won the genetic PowerBall lottery. When the winner's nards produce his sperm, none of them will carry his team of genes, ever, ever, ever. Cannot possibly because of the process called meiosis. Ever hear of the child of a PowerBall winner winning the PowerBall?
  5. That would be for the technicians to figure out. I just stick mine under my belt in case anything comes up that I can't think my way out of.
  6. I missed that part. Hey, can't wait for another family reunion...Oh, wait, I'm out of bullets...
  7. ...OK, raise your hand if you've threatened anyone with a gun...
  8. This is about Wilfork, Warren and Seymour tossing about rag dolls, not The Special Theory of Relativity.
  9. From what I've read, black is white. Raise your hand if you've threatened your dad with a gun...
  10. Let he who has not threatened his father with a gun, cast the first stone.
  11. At least Angelo Crowell had a "football-related" injury. Byrd's relationship is more like: Bills defensive coordinator Perry Fewell coached with Byrd’s father, Gil, on the St. Louis Rams’ staff in 2003 and 2004.
  12. "But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked. "Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad." "How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat, "otherwise you wouldn't have come here."
  13. Maybe "reckoned with" means, "If the Bills beat you, you're doomed to football hell"? The Bills are like Ma'at's feather. Beat them, and you're team is potentially not awful. Lose to the Bills: EMERGENCY!!! Rebuild.
  14. Agree with everything, especially the, "If all this works..." part. I would add that the front sevens in our AFC East opponents are very talented and exceptionally well coached. How suddenly Schonert and Kugler are going to tip that aspect of the scale in the Bills favor escapes me. Also, it's problematic whether Nelson factors into the equation.
  15. Cassel had earned the right to become an UFA, (just like Losman). If the Patriots hadn't franchise tagged him, he was on his own with no Patriot strings. Once they tagged him, then the Patriots could either keep him and pay him $15 ($14.65) million, or trade him to another team. They traded him to the Chiefs (together with Vrabel) for the #34 draft pick. Once he was traded, then it became the Chiefs problem to negotiate a contract with Cassel and his agent. The Patriots deliberately shopped him because they didn't want to take the cap hit and carry both Brady and Cassel to the tune of $30 million. I doubt that discussing the player's contract demands during trade negotiations could be construed as tampering, but I couldn't find any language specifically dealing with the situation. It took months after the trade for the contract agreement. If there had been an impasse, then I guess Cassel could have threatened to hold out, and the Chiefs could have attempted to trade him. Cassel did absolutely great.
  16. It all started with the drafting of Ritchie Lucas...
  17. Personally, I consider this site a playground, not some kind of holy sacrament. There's a lot of people here who are going to have to someday pay BIG money to get the sticks surgically removed, or else keep their horrid limp.
  18. Too bad the Bills didn't franchise Losman. Patrick Chung would have been a nice addition.
