  1. Umm, wouldn't faking an injury for that purpose make you a cheater?
  2. Yeah after that one long pass play in particular where they caught the Bills wayyyyyyyy offsides. They waited until the Pats player stepped out of bounds before snapping it. Either incredibly aware or incredibly lucky. Knowing Brady, I'm going with aware.
  3. I was wondering about that last night. But when Rex accepted it without even a questioning look on his face I figured it was some defenseless player protection rule about forward motion being stopped (Watkins was moving backwards).
  4. CBS with Spread (Bills +3.5) : 7 take Chiefs, 1 took the Bills. (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/features/writers/expert/picks/against-the-spread/12) CBS Straight Up: All 8 take Chiefs. (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/features/writers/expert/picks/straight-up/12) ESPN: Clean sweep, all 12 and Pick'Em took the Chiefs with one not picking.. (http://espn.go.com/nfl/picks) Microsoft Cortana (Went 9-5 in week 11): Chiefs 63% chance of winning. (http://www.cortanapredictions.com/) FiveThirtyEight: (Went 10-4 in week 11): Chiefs 70% chance of winning with an Elo point spread of 6. (http://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2015-nfl-predictions/) Amos: (Went 10-4 in week 11) Chiefs 66% chance of winning. (http://trevorbischoff.com/nfl-2015-week-12-predictions/) FiveThirtyEight predicts a 8-8 season record for the Bills this season with a 31% (down from 36%) chance of making the playoffs and a less than 1% (unchanged) chance of winning it all. Could be worse I suppose, 25% through the hockey season and it puts the Sabres chances of making the playoffs at 8.6% Amos predicts a 9-7 season record for the Bills. SportsClubStats (http://www.sportsclubstats.com/NFL/AFC/AFCEast/Buffalo.html) predicts a record of 8-8 for the Bills this season with a 33.2% (down from 40.9%) chance of making the playoffs.
  5. I see other threads closed as "discussed elsewhere" yet this one has been around since 11/15
  6. Did Brady play much that game? I don't remember.
  7. The Bills Are Proof That A Team Needs More Than Just A Good QB http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/the-bills-are-proof-that-a-team-needs-more-than-just-a-good-qb/
  8. We have a similar situation at home, which game gets the "big" TV I suspect it will be the Bills at least as long as the game is not a blowout. The Sabres will probably lose tonight as well, though they have a better chance of pulling off the upset.
  9. I don't justify anything. Anyone playing now knows what they are risking, same with parents allowing kids to play. When I want to watch I do, when I do not then I don't. For example I turned on red zone channel yesterday at 1:00 but by 1:30 I was so thoroughly bored even with red zone, that I turned it off for good and didn't even watch last night. I have realized I am a Bills fan now, not a football fan any more.
  10. Easy solution, stay home or go to a bar and watch both games at the same time.
  11. 538 and SportsClubStats adjusted their playoff odds down very slightly after the games this past weekend. I updated the original post accordingly.
  12. It has the makings of a trap game for them after the close call in their last game, the Bills being perceived by many as a weak team, and BellyCheat owning Rex historically.
  13. What this entire thread reminds me of.
  14. What you are talking about would require fundamental changes in the game regarding contact, physicality, etc. That is the only way players would have a chance of playing that many games. It would involve changing from tackle football to touch football, or close to it. Look, it really is simple. Tackle football is an extremely violent, full on collision sport. Always was and always should be in my opinion. Those that do not wish to play it, or have their kids play it, certainly have the right to opt out. Otherwise just let it be, caveat emptor.
  15. If you are sure that any team is going to either win or lose any game, why watch? But if you are asking that if someone thinks the Bills are going to lose, why watch? That question itself makes no sense. Only hard core homers should watch any game?
  16. I only care about the Bills now. Tackle football overall has lost it's appeal with me. Paying to watch every game would end it for me.
  17. You know, it's bad enough the Pats have been so good for so long. But this one cheerleader is hotter than every Jill that has ever walked onto the field at the Ralph ... combined. Just not fair
  18. The model I would like to see is Watson by IBM. You just know someone inside IBM has done it already
  19. All the models say the Cards by about 60%.
  20. Yeah particularly true in tackle football for two reasons: 1) So few games are played in a season. 2) It is such a violent game that injuries happen frequently, and injuries can and usually do have a big impact on the games.
