  1. So he buys her a $750,000 ring, she uses his plastic (that he gave her) for another $100,000, and he spends yet another $230,000 on her for "luxury items" then dumps him. Well you know what they say about a fool and his money. Or maybe she just felt she could not compete with all the hot wing-fed Buffalo women
  2. Kraft wants a winner. I have no trouble imagining him not caring if his players prefer men or women so long as they help the team win. Thanks, I wasn't going to look but now you have ruined boobs for me forever!
  3. Erie County ..no problem at all. NYS ... no !@#$ing way. I live in Rochester so Erie county can do what they want but I don't want any of my money going to a stadium, ANY stadium.
  4. I think teams will do what the Bills did some years back and lower the seating capacity in favor of corporate and luxury boxes. Big market teams can get away with that for sure. Plus with only 8 regular season home games (7 for the Bills) people who really love the "game day experience" can generally come up with the money to go if they want to bad enough. If tackle football does lose it's place as the top American spectator sport I do not believe it will be due to lack of attendance at games.
  5. I was beginning to think that no one would ever be able to use "common sense" and "legislature" together. I can see NY stiffing the Bills, but I can't imagine them not throwing money at any NYC teams. I hear Toronto wants a team.
  6. Many would use a word other than devotion for what you describe. But I can appreciate your mindset.
  7. And with everything so new and not even a camp to watch at this point, both are equally valid. Or neither, and go with the tried and true "wait and see"
  8. I use private software to watch/record satellite TV and use an open source package called ComSkip http://www.kaashoek.com/comskip/ for commercial removal. There is an open source package for satellite/cable watching/recording as well that also has a plugin for using ComSkip that works well called MediaPortal http://www.team-mediaportal.com/ . Another good and free (though not open source) application that also supports ComSkip is NextPVR http://www.nextpvr.com/ The pros to this are you can watch a game in a very reasonable length of time and at your convenience. The con though is that I now tend to find it excruciating to watch a tackle football game in real time due to the commercial interruptions.
  9. I disagree. I also prefer to be at home. That way I can enjoy the game with my family. No way would I bring my young kids to a Bills game, other than the kids day preseason game when most of the drunken idiots don't go. Way to damn expensive, and also just not something I want to expose the kids to. Instead I have PC software setup to record the game and afterward automatically strip out the commercials. We then watch the game in it's entirety in about an hour while we are eating dinner (works perfectly for the 1pm games) on the 55" LED TV.. So old and lazy, no. Older and wiser, perhaps. And watching at home "not the same", absolutely my point ... I find it to be considerably better.
  10. Oops, right, USFL. And maybe not been great those 3 years and been run out of town. You just never know!
  11. Past history IS a reliable indicator. Expecting that this one kid coming in right out of college is going to take a team that has not even been close to the playoffs for 13 years and turn them into a super bowl contender in his first year is not realistic. Even you should understand that.
  12. I never knew how badly until i saw a show on ESPN recently about that draft.. To the point he got a call from a CFL team while he was at OBD to sign a contract, and signed with the CFL team. Crazy stuff.
  13. Saw this on facebook and thought it puts things in perspective ... Don't get your hopes up too high.
  14. I don't know, at least the Leafs made the playoffs this year.
  15. I remember these same types of posts 3 years ago when Gailey took the TVs out of the weight room. Old school tough coach expects the players to work. God is it preseason yet please?
  16. Every team that drafts a QB has a "rookie QB trying to beat out the veteran". The Bills have been irrelevant for at least the last 13 years. No one but Bills fans would care or watch if the show focused on the Bills.
  17. I like it. Nice to be in a big market.
  18. He was doomed. My wife got his jersey last season
  19. Love this. Grades range from A- to D. Shows that if these guys knew anything they would be being overpaid by an NFL tram.
  20. I care. Without analytics what you have is a bunch of old guys looking at paper and film and watching workouts deciding (guessing) what players will perform well in the NFL. How well has that been done for the Bills historically, and particularly in the last 15 years?
  21. No one knows. If the Bills had taken Smith then this forum would be filled with apologists saying how he is a disappointed kid and this has no bearing on how he will perform on the field. But the Bills took Manuel, so some feel the need to piss on the pick that most of the talking heads (and hair) would have preferred. If, God forbid, in 3 years Geno is kicking ass and taking names while Manuel looks like Losman no one will remember threads like this and will demand he be cut and whoever the GM is be fired. It's just the post draft kool-aid talking, no harm done
  22. Man the post-draft kool-aid is flowing in many threads
  23. Yeah having a top agent to go to bat for you is vital if you want to make top dollar for sure.
  24. Kelly, you should know by now that facts have no business in a thread created specifically to rag on one particular player (and/or his agent).
  25. No. The Senator would have said 19-0
