3-2 Bills vs. 3-2 Pats*. We've been here before,Bills fans. A chance to prove that this years squad is "different" from years past. I am hopeful, but im not getting sucked in again, and here's why: 2003: Opening day. Beat Brady and the Pats down 31-0. Finish the season 6-10, losing 31-0 in Foxborough in week 17. 2004: 9-6, heading into a week 17 catchup vs. PIT 3Rd stringers, with a playoff spot on the line. Loss. 2011: Start 3-0 after finally ending the Pats dominating streak after falling behind 21-0. Finish 6-10. Look, I hate to be the guy looking at the glass half empty here, but we've seen this before. Hope im wrong...

...with Kyle Orton as the quarterback, would you, as a fan, feel like it's "cheap" considering it wasn't done with a quarterback of the future? I for one would not, but im curious of other fan's thoughts...

I know he's in the last year of his deal and it's a forgone conclusion he will not be a Bill next year anyway, but should we see what we can get from a team that could better utilize his "talents". Besides the KO return vs. Miami, this kid isn't providing much for this team, especially running out of the backfield for negative plays or 1 yard gains. Thoughts?

I know you might say I'm a typical Bills "pessimist", but with the big win last week in Chi-town coupled with the news of the Pegula's buying the team, anyone else have "letdown" in the back of their minds in the home opener? Hoping I'm wrong. Go Bills!

That's been the entire problem with this team for 14 seasons. The FO relies way too much on "plan A". Never a plan "B" to be had...

I have literally zero confidence in the two backups we have now. And so does the head coach. Listen to what he says about them. If EJ struggles or goes down, we're screwed. We all know that.

I understand Tebow isn't a "great" quarterback. But he is better than the two backups we have. I'm not saying bring him in to start. Would you feel better if EJ gets hurt putting Palmer or Tuel in...or Tebow?

So, in conclusion, Jeff Teul and Jordan Palmer are better options than a guy who...has actually won a playoff game in the last 5 years (nevermind the list of QBs that we've fielded in the last 14 that couldn't even get us there).

I know this is a horse that's been beaten to death repeatedly on this board, but forgive me... After what we've seen this preseason, really, what in the hell is the harm in bringing in Tim Tebow? I get it, it would create a media distraction that this team does not need, but really, what do the Buffalo Bills have to lose? All Tebow has done is win. Say what you will about his accuracy, but do any of the other QBs on this roster wow you with theirs? Including the starter? Its been 14 years, Whaley...take a swing.

I, just for the heck of it, glanced at the Bills 2014 schedule as if we were still fielding the Kelly and Co. 1990-94 Bills team. Its amazing how optimistic I was back in that day. I also considered what players the opponents fielded back in the day. I had 11-5. However, when I look at it from the team we have now, its the reverse...5-11! :/ Anyway, for those fans who were fans of the team back then, give it a shot! I mean, if you want...if not, well...then don't. lol
