  1. Nickell is fabulous and was actually my favorite rookie last year, Kiko a close second. Nickell seemed to improve as the year went on and I feel his starting position is as secure as anyone on the team. the little guy rocks!.
  2. Every player signed by any NFL team, even the off-season fodder, are awesome athletes and football players. To make the jump from college into one of the 32 teams is a fantastic accomplishment and only really great players can do it. Any one of these guys could be a pleasant surprise, any year.
  3. Excellent summary. Of course Golisano should be among everyone's top choices, he will very likely keep the team in WNY. And PS, even with revenue sharing, Buffalo should not have the same payroll as NY or Dallas, it is just unrealistic, there is much less money overall in the community as a whole, and that much less for the team to capture through whatever revenue stream (parking to hotdogs to advertising banners to stadium naming etc. etc.). it is only logical that the Bills spending should be in the bottom half, reality bites.
  4. It's a nice dream. Might take a few years, but the Bills will be gone within a decade. Of course, given the traumatic head injury and other issues, pro football itself my be archaic by then. Unless the pros switch to touch football.
  5. Kiko has already caught up to most line-backers when it comes to INT's in a season. and NOW, he has equaled Adrian Wilson in the broken QBs department!
  6. clearly the coaches know something we don't, but it remains odd to me that Easley is relegated so consistently to ST. graham really does not appear to be very good. yet they keep throwing him at the wall and waiting for him to stick. Easley excels at whatever he is asked to do, pre-season catching everything, ST in regular season monster. Yet can't get a ball thrown to him to save his life.
  7. he rarely seems to break 200 yards passing..... that said, the difference between EJ and Tuel was night and day. makes it very clear that the scouts and GMs doing the drafting do at least know a little bit about what they are doing.
  8. he is not the next Patrick Willis. He is the first Kiko Alonzo
  9. EJ needs to be looking over his shoulder, if Freeman DOES come in and play like he did a couple of years ago EJ could even have a tough time reclaiming the job. would be a great problem to have.
  10. not to rain on our parade, but it seems clear that Manuel is a work in progress who must progress significantly, for success going forward. Yes, we won, but it was a 5 interception game that we barely won, and EJs stats look fairly horrendous. If we had lost.... I think counting on 5 INTs is not a formula that will win us too many more games. the Bills need to develop a killer instinct (the whole team needs what Kiko has!) and EJ needs to be a LOT better. Hopefully it is possible.
  11. they get 1/32nd of the tv revenue. they have plenty of wherewithall.
  12. Did I miss something? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naaman_Roosevelt
  13. PF just is not that kind of ailment, it actually DOES heal, it does not take months and years. I know blah blah, everyone is different, but with good treatment it should be over in a coiple of weeks. Byrd is just dogging it, the prick, and stealing 6.9m. in collusion with Parker. They are negating the CBA by not playing according to the rules. It would not surprise me if the PF story from last year was wholly false, just Parker thinking in the long term that he may want a legit excuse this year to do exactly what he is doing.
  14. had we kept Shepp, he would be on the street by now. Colts clearly felt the same way about Hughes. The trade enabled both men to keep a job for at least one more year. If Hughes does not step up, maybe his last year. Not sure how Shep is doing. I saw Lil' Donte got an INT the other day!
  15. its called negotiation. they gave on some issues, got on others. but it is surprising, three years is a long time to make rookies work and risk their health before being able to cash in, if they are worthy of an extension earlier.
  16. not correct actually plenty of cases are brought to conviction by circumstantial evidence alone. That said I am reasonably certain that the police likely found some forensics as well. AH is such a fool - way he did not leave more. Plus the videotapes of him waving the gun around before and after the murder.
  17. Robey appears to be a decent player actually
  18. evidently rogers and brown are good enough after all. it was me, not them. I need new glasses, clearly.
  19. i don't think they need him that badly anyway, the circumstantial evidence is exceedingly compelling. murdering wannabe gangster. pope of greenwich village redux except even dumber than Paulie, and more lethal by far.
  20. but we CAN compare Easley to Graham and they are very even on the season so far stat wise, Graham has a slight lead. The real difference being that Graham has had approx 150 more snaps to accumulate stats than Easley. Again, whats the worst that can happen. Easley ha been on the team for about 5 years already, let him play at least a little bit, please, coach.
  21. yup. what's the worst that could happen, he could have one catch in 3 games or something?
  22. makes you wonder what is wrong with Easley in the coaches mind, that he never gets any snaps at all. Is he really just a special teamer then?
  23. we seem to have luck with 2nd round dbs
