meh, it's easy to be incoherrent. my point was simple. you are trying to over complicate and explain the problems in a way that isn't valid beyond the stats/paper/etc. in practice the entire game was terrible at generating pressure. there was no need to continue to do something that wasn't working all day even if it was "not the same play as before" that's what people are getting at.

Your entire point is analytics without real football insight. Our attack to the QB sucked. Regardless of blitz or rush. You're also provoking semantics knowing yourself most people don't grasp all the lingo and blitz to most is the same as a rush. You're doing this on purpose knowing better. It's weaksauce. Further. We couldn't effectively get to rusa. We had a lot of issues in the secondary with communication, as well. We gambled and brought pressure and it was ok. The second time the broncos saw it coming. Anyone did. We don't need % comp rate or anything. So many of us saw the strategy of how to achieve defensive success just like the chiefs 13 seconds. It's been pointed out so I won't be redundant. Step down from your perch. Your analysis is fine but on the field it didn't work and was not going to. It is not about hindsight. All game we were missing Wilson and the jackass coach wouldn't and couldn't adapt.

Can we start having him wear the opposing teams uniform so Josh throws to him more?

i'd love to throw money at daboll as OC. i'd love a perfect world to get phillips 35-40 years younger as DC. schwartz as lb coach, lebeau as db coach while we are at it. but in a realistic world. talk to Daboll. offer him the OC gig and ask his input on HC

mcd is from the reid tree too

that's the worst part for him. he buys all of it. every little bit. he ignores the stuff he is clearly involved with. whether willfully or neglibly. he's part of the biggest problem in buffalo media

Who was behind the decision to fire Dorsey?

Who was behind the decision to fire Dorsey?

1) prior to the Broncos game - it was not. this would seem to mean that he was not as good as Cook who had over 9 ypc. murray had a solid game but his 4.8 ypc was his best (which is good) against the giants. excluding the broncos game he averaged 3.5 ypc. Cook was at 4.7ypc. 2) i don't follow the latter statement because i would need examples where you have read something you disagree with and then tell me why. also, i don't know who you are... so i cannot return critique or offer any criticism of any individual thoughts you may have had. please, if you're going to try to insult me, make it worth my time and don't waste it. so, yeah...BRO...do better. -
Same as always, folks. This is nothing more than an exercise in how you see this week or the trend we are in and it is not a true endorsement of the overall player. If you are buying a player it could be that his value is at a low and you think they'll improve this week or soon. If you are selling it could mean they're hot garbage and you're done just as much as it could be that they are at an all time high and you want to cash out. To hold a player is just like a stock. it is not up, it is not down and maybe you bought into them/it at the right time and want to see what plays out. There is no continuity with this. It is entirely abstract. You can pick a player, coach, position, group, even a team or options on other teams. Buy: Bernard. i believe in him. Sell 1A: Buffalo media covering the Bils. they're not digging into this at all. they're not opening up all of the windows and doors to the ongoing situation with the team. if i know stuff behind closed doors you cannot convince me that the media does not either. Sell 1B: Murray. benching cook was BS. McDermott rewarding him with playing time because of his team meeting and the likely "process" vibe he carries was just sad. Hold: Rapp. he is our most consistent DB at this time. the rest are meddling, middling.

Who was behind the decision to fire Dorsey?

McDermott "you need to run more." Dorsey "Ok, the opening scripted plays focus on Cook." McDermott "he fumbled, first time in a long time. i benched him for the first quarter." Dorsey "he was to be the featured back of this game" McDermott "[clapping]..hurr...durr...process.... complementary football...derp [more clapping]. Dorsey "...[sigh]" McDermott "my cats breath smells like cat food." Dorsey "we have Murray in at RB, he's not achieving solid net positive yards. are you stupid?" McDermott "i'm a 50 year old man wearing straight brim hats." Dorsey "Die." -
The loss to San Diego with the Peterman game is on this list. The entire team wanted anyone else but Peterman starting and there was the edge of mutiny at halftime.

Who was behind the decision to fire Dorsey?

one of the talking heads on WGR raised a great point. IF there were not 12 men on the field for the FG we would not have fired Dorsey. That puts light on this that is extremely interesting. -

When you have no leg to stand on and lost the team - you can't. -
Has anyone posted highlights or discussion of the presser?

People I talk to did.

You only saw him during games.
-
possibly.
-
allegedly.

i can ask them to tackle better. to not have breakdowns in their execution. to make better reads. they haven't lost a game this year by attrition. they've not been seeming to play tired. just uninspired and demotivated.
-
who knows if it would have been different had he stayed in. dorsey likely had to abandon all of the plays he had drawn up, regardless.
-
agreed. his plan was not a good plan, it wasn't working, it wasn't smooth and workable. no one was better with his play calling. joe brady will havea tough time recovering this problem
