  1. imo, the prevent on the final drive- and also the final jax drive before the half- is the single factor that cost us the game more than any other. i know mularkey has gone on record as saying he wants to just leave gray alone to do his thing, but if he does that it will be a huge mistake. he can't be like williams and just sit and watch us make the same stevestojan mistakes every week.
  2. dude we've been through an AWFUL lot of very close losses in the past couple years...given up several 4th qtr leads...at some point you have to question the testicular fortitude of the core players on the team. what do you attribute all the close losses to?
  3. i am gonna go out on a limb right now and say that this will be bledsoe's last season in buffalo.
  4. good points, especially regarding gray. also, you forgot: "!@#$!"
  5. that's what i thought at first, but then the replay looked to me like the right heel never made it to the ground. and then ref justified the call by saying he was PUSHED OUT...i really don't think both feet made it down. ...but, whatever
  6. you're right, we got !@#$ed on that one....but what else is new, right? i initially thought it was a td because he got both feet down, but when i realize he didn't i couldn't believe he was awarded the td for being "pushed out."
  7. agreed...i don't think the nucleus of this current team will ever win the division. it's really true that they're missing something, and i think THE WAY they lost this game...choking up yet another 4th qtr lead...will revive some major doubts still lingering from last season. mularkey sure has his hands full with this crew. but having said that, i still think that if gray doesn't abandon the blitz on the final drive we would be singing a very different song right now.
  8. yeah...y'know i hate to bash the guy after we give up 6 points in 59.9 minutes of football...but that last drive was poorly called from a defensive standpoint. i am not a big gray fan...
  9. i totally agree. i was screaming for gray to send some guys after leftwich that entire drive. you can say we shouldn't do it on 4th down, but there was a 3rd down play prior to that where i feel we should have brought the house. hell, they wound up getting single coverage on smith anyway, so in hindsight it would have been smart to blitz on 4th down too.
  10. excellent question...does 97rock stream?
  11. i hate to say this, but i think jacksonville has a good chance in this one.
  12. cheyney is a d2 team, and a bad one. they are the dregs of the psac. i can't even figure out why this game was scheduled.
  13. look, i hated the bastard the last 2 years he was here...but he's still not as bad as what we have backing up bledsoe right now. just please don't confuse that with "wanting him" back.
  14. i have to GRUDGINGLY admit i would prefer him to shane matthews or travis brown if, god forbid, we should need a backup. that is if we are trying to win the game. i wouldn't worry about him starting trouble on the sidelines...not at this point. but we of course do not TRADE for him. i would be curious to know his salary...i'm sure it's way too much.
  15. lol...from the expression of that smilie i'd say you learned all that stuff the hard way!
  16. i can't believe no one has mentioned SALARY. doesn't he have a huge contract?
  17. my god...and i thought the story about the guy screwing the pot-bellied pig was horrible...if they're gonna throw that guy in jail, this broad deserves hard time too. her parents must be humiliated.
  18. not really: urine = urea + uric acid + salt any "toxins" are removed by the liver. any detectable metabolites of substances like drugs in the urine are harmless...because they are just that...metabolites. all in all it is very benign stuff, and almost exactly the same as the stuff you sweat. it is also sterile. by comparison: sweat = uric acid + salt don't take this to mean i am gonna be drinking pee anytime soon. there is no health problem i've ever had that is gonna make me resort to that. i remember reading the story about jorge posada peeing on his hands and THAT turned my stomach. also fyi, back in the late 80s, drinking urine was an experimental treatment for hiv infection...turns out it didn't work. but a lot of poor souls tried...
  19. yep it's over 89-81...we lose. all of a sudden i am not such a huge pepe fan.
  20. he's floating it a little too much right now...usa down 5 at the half! if they lose it's over.
