  1. The sinister machinations of our very own Bills "deepthroat".
  2. The optics with regards to this organization are appalling. That press conference was cringe-inducing. My God- this franchise is tough to stomach. Isn't it about time the Pegula's applied the lessons of their Sabre experience and tossed a grenade into the building....blow it up? I can only think after today that there is already a successor to Rex in place- and it's not A.Lynn. It's either Coughlin or, out of left field, Cowher.
  3. Different Josh Reed. Former Bill Josh Reed was originally in line to join Channel 4, but when they sent him the job application, he apparently dropped it.
  4. I would hope the Pegula's offered to buy it from him. They could use it to replace the Taurus in the Bills vehicle fleet. It will come in handy when Whaley has to pick up George Seifert at the airport, especially if the weather is bad.
  5. I was stuck at the Wendy's drive thru in Orchard Park one day behind Murph- he was cursing out the teenager running the window about his order of fries (apparently there weren't enough of them). Don't rattle Murph's cage.
  6. This is akin to taking the old cow out behind the barn and finishing her off. Had to happen
  7. I've advocated for Rex's dismissal- but I genuinely think he's a good guy, and cannot help but feel disapointed that this turned out the way it did. What's always confounded me is the fact that Mike Pettine had success with his defense here in 2013. Mind you, it wasn't a "great" defense- but it was far superior to what we've seen these last 2 seasons, or at least felt that way. Given that Pettine was a long-time understudy of Rex's, one could've assumed (as I did) that Rex would build on what Pettine had accomplshed, and the defense would've been better for it. Many of the core players from '13 were here in 2015..some are still here now.
  8. Eric Wood sounds very much like Joe Thomas of the Browns. They've both played so long for the two sh!tiest franchises in the league...they just sound delusional. Thomas recently said something to the effect that he wanted to remain a Brown because he wanted to be there when the franchise turned the corner. Fat chance of that happening any time soon. Maybe if Thomas plays to age 50. Wood sounds like every player who spoke so glowingly of Dick Jauron. It's the same line of crap! He sounds like Frank Sinatra's character in "The Manchurian Candidate"- repeating the same line of b.s.- praising someone who he knows isn't worthy of any praise whatsoever. These players have been brainwashed by mediocrity.
  9. If you continue to do the same thing again and again, expecting different results, even though all you've experienced is failure- that's the definition of stupidity. Retaining Rex falls into that category: stupidity...Organizational Stupidity! Continuity is a catch-phrase, and a capitulation. You're clinging to the present, even though it sucks, because you fear the uncertain. Embrace the unknown when what you DO know reeks of mediocrity. Rex reeks of mediocrity; Whaley reeks of mendacity (Will this be two coaches in a row that this GM hasn't been able to work with?)... Clean house!
  10. When you suck, continuity indeed sucks! When you embrace the suck, that sucks too. To not embrace the suck, knowing that it already sucks, and will continue to suck, certainly sucks. To advocate for sucking, under the auspices of continuity, knowing very well that it will result in continued sucking, flat-out sucks as well.
  11. These "modern era" players should be put on hold until other long-deserving (overdue?) candidates are considered. Such as: Bennett B.Byrd Gilchrist McDole Not to mention, a non-player (Lou Saban). These omissions are glaring. Whatever "justifications", mostly petty, for bypassing some of these candidates should be buried once and for all.
  12. Any argument in favor of Whaley should always be undermined by Mack! He was right up the f**king road!!!! Whaley trades up to 4, and drafts a brittle WR (not Watkin's fault he's injury-prone, or that his QB's have been blinder than bats!). Mack was on the board! And Mack was right up the godd@mn street! You trade up to 4.....you get the local guy- the one right under your damn nose! I guess Whaley preferred to spend his days sitting in his office looking at porn, whether than taking a 10-minute drive up to UB.
  13. Well, as a fan, I'm frustrated watching my team's QB throw for 160 yards, in an era wherein the 300 yard plateau is eclipsed on virtually a game-by-game basis. I'm frustrated watching games and seeing open receivers galloping through the opposing defensive secondary- yet inexplicably our QB does not! Taylor's frustrated?!?! I'm frustrated watching him quarterback a college offense. I frustrated watching Taylor impersonate Trent Edwards on a weekly basis. Stop being a boob Tyrod! If you don't care for the scrutiny, there a plenty of other career paths that you can choose.
  14. I don't believe Trent Edwards had concussion after-effects. I've just long assumed that he was mentally retarded.
  15. This is like what Bills fans endured with Chris Kelsay. Every-other year the Bills inexplicably gave Kelsay a contract extension, in spite of the fact that he did nothing- NOTHING- of note in his career. He must have made $50 million off of Ralph!
  16. Brilliant idea!! Cutler just needs a change of scenery. Buffalo would be a breath of fresh air for him. Bills fans would welcome him in our warm embrace....his first 10 interceptions would be quickly forgiven. His aloof indifference would be favorably compared to the iconic persona of Trent Edwards. Fans on the board would rave about Cutler's "cannon"! He would be the first chain-smoker to play for the Bills since Paul Posluszny, another fan favorite. What could go wrong? It would be like Donald Trump naming Alex Jones to be his National Security Advisor.....a colossal goat-f**k!
  17. The Raiders also play the Chiefs next Thursday night. The league wouldn't want Oakland to go into that primetime game off a loss! Expect 15 penalties against the Bills Sunday (at minimum).
  18. So many Metallica titles fit perfectly: "The Day that Never Comes", "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)", "The Thing that Should Not Be", "The Frayed Ends of Sanity"...it goes on and on.
  19. Happy he didn't get his impressively small hands on my team. Will be even happier when he finds himself in Dante's Eighth Circle of Hell, with Satan's pitchfork up his a$$.
  20. Why not? Add a few goons- we're now in a post-apocalyptic time, with an orange baboon about to become president. So what the hell? Rules?? Shmules! Cheap shot the opposing QB; egregiously flaunt the rules. Who gives a sh*t? We're going to inevitably get screwed by the officials anyhow...so why not? Let's turn this thing into "Slapshot"- at least it'll be entertaining. Now if we can just get Pegula to start wearing one of those jumpsuits Al Davis used to sport.
  21. The team they played has a future Hall of Fame QB under center (Brees), which is the central reason the Saints scored 25 points on the vaunted 'Hawk defense. We have a QB who looks like he's running the read-option at Wichita State.
  22. Does it matter whether Clay plays or not? The Bills haven't had a player who so egregiously stole money from ownership since Chris Kelsay. For the Pegulas, the Charles Clay experience must conjure up memories of Ville Leino.
  23. Why is it that, as a Bills fan, I feel like Bill Murray in "Groundhog Day"? You just know this season is heading to an 8-8, 7-9 result. Then everyone returns.....and 2017 will bring another year of hope and promise, only to end in a 6-10, 7-9 finish as well. It's fun being mired in mediocrity!!
  24. My hat's off to the OP- 16 years of this sh!t and he can maintain a modicum of positivity. Good for him (of course he's a self-loathing, masochistic sociopath....but aren't we all?)
