Exactly, the kid is 21 years old. Dammit people, have some patience, I don't care if it was a "must win" year. What year isn't for this franchise?
Pass judgement after next season.
I may be wrong and just acting like the sports pundits do daily, but this could be less of a health issue than he states. He has had a lot of speculation about recruiting issues and his players behaving badly off the field haven't helped. It just makes me wonder a little bit. If this is really because of his health, then I wish him the best.
I never asked a question that pertained to what the OP said. His was a simple can he or can't he play question. You are the one who wants to watch him get murdered. That's what I was responding to.

And why bring Losman into this? You are just trying to instigate more arguments.
Don't believe in giving anyone a second chance do you? I'm sure you weren't exactly a saint your whole life. He did his time, expressed his regret and deserves a fair shot. Hate the sin, not the sinner...
You can't say he isn't better than Ellison. I mean who I'm about as good as Ellison and I haven't played competitive football since 6th grade (unless you count my Peyton-esque flag football season at QB this fall )
Not like LT was one of the best defensive players of all time or anything. Glad you have your expectations for Maybin on a pretty realistic level.
On a side note, I feel better now, I got my daily dose of Thoner negativity
Just to be THAT guy, they technically didn't have the day off because they have positional meetings (DB's, LB's, etc.) on Monday's and Tuesday's to look over tape and the like.
For the love of God, the kid is 21. Name me one person that got drafted at the age of 21 and became a stud his first year. The bashing of this kid and calling him a bust already is just insane. Give the kid an offseason and training camp at least.
I don't understand all the hatred for everything that Ochocinco does. What does he do that is controversial and offensive? Nothing. He is a guy who loves the game of football and has fun with it.
With this instance, he is showing his respect to his fallen friend and I have no problem with it. He knows he is going to get fined for it and he is okay with that so why is it a big deal? I respect the man for it.
I totally agree. That drives me nuts. Back home in PA people do it, but up here in Buffalo, everyone is half-retarded and refuses to do it. If you put yourself in the intersection, you are guaranteed to go and not just sit there idiots!
