  1. With the 5th ranked D in points allowed.... You certainly have come a long way from when you stated that BB could have the same success in NE with "half a dozen QBs".
  2. Yup! Lots of posters here bit on it...
  3. He never put together a good roster, other than Brady? All those top rated defenses? 16 top 10's in lowest points allowed, 3 times in the top 2 unjust the past 6 years. No good?
  4. It was an unforced error by Daboll. NE RBs had 38 carries for 220 yards. Bills RBs had 19 carries, 99 yards. Game over. It was the worst gameplan imaginable for those conditions.
  5. It was a winning strategy BB chose before the game started, based on the anticipated weather. Having your QB attempt 30 passes in that wind (for 145 yards total--the longest was 26 yards to Diggs, not 50) was a bad decision. He made the wind a nonfactor for his team. see above.
  6. This has to be one of the most amazing threads in TSW history no? Almost 100 pages about...nothing. What was the last 100 pager?
  7. Week 13.. Well, they won 10 games and battled for the division to the end of the season and got back to the playoffs with an Alabama rookie QB. Maybe the drought begins this year?
  8. Safe to say Brown will finish out his career in Philly...
  9. O-line project on deck?
  10. Cam Newton won 3 playoffs games in his Carolina career, lost 4. Can Newton never lost a game
  11. But has he matriculated on it yet??
  12. This is still a thing? Rodgers gave his blessing to the Adams traded and said nothing when they let M V-S go. He doesn't care. That drama 2 years ago was, as it obviously turns out, was all an act. Got him his 50 mil per, which was all he wanted. He's cool with all this.
  13. So he's older than Edmunds?
  14. To be fair though, missing on a fairly late 1st round DB isn't as catastrophic as missing on a top 10 QB for the fate of a franchise
  15. They are all depth guys, hence the move up to pick Elam. Wallace wasn't worth keeping
  16. Another team could have traded top to 24 before the Bills traded up and took him at 23. 24 was the key number here...
  17. Last year it was a stacked roster, yes.
  18. yet they didn't. No offers is the only explanation.
  19. You think the Cowboys said "no thanks--we are rolling with our developmental O-line guy who was left on the board:"?
  20. Again, when you consider the cost. see above.
  21. Sure, but pointing to McD's purported advanced ability to pick CBs and seeing that lineup of draftees doesn't make much sense.
  22. Wasn't really the point of the post. More pointing out the obvious struggles this team has had drafting a starting CB since Tre 5 years ago. But..Dallas was probably only looking at O-line at 24, based on what was left of 1st round quality picks. There was plenty of time for a team behind the Bills to trade into 24. No one called the Cowboys.
