  1. #1 - Golisano does NOT have the wealth needed to own an NFL franchise.

#2- he already is a crappy owner of the Sabres who will NOT spend to the cap. thereby significantly hindering our ability on the ice.

#3- his decision to take up residence in FL is understandable, saving millions every year in state taxes. too bad the NY politicians don't know how to grow jobs.

  2. The Patriots* are CHEATERS. They* are a disgrace to the league. I think an asterisk should be permantly engraved into every one of the Patriots* Super Bowl Trophies and take their rightful places next to Barry Bonds home run asterisk ball. Bill Bilicheat* should have been suspended and banned for life. That infraction was only the tip of the iceberg. The Patriots* illicit videotaping tactics were far more systematic and deliberate than what the NFL has acknowledged.

here are some details that have not been revealed by the league. Mr. Walsh says he was instructed to say he was filming “tight shots” or filming highlights if another team asked why the Patriots* had an extra camera. The red light on Mr. Walsh’s camera was broken to conceal that he was recording. If Mr. Walsh was asked why he was not filming the play on the field, he was supposed to indicate that he was filming the down marker. During the American Football Conference championship game in 2002, against the Steelers, Mr. Walsh was instructed not to wear the Patriots* logo.

I hate them cheating Patriots* with a passion......and as such, i should be granted full dispensation and allowed to participate in this wonderful contest as if i had joined prior to Jan 1, 2009.....

  3. According to Kansas City Star writer Jason Whitlock, Chiefs first-round pick Glenn Dorsey has been a bust through seven weeks.

Whitlock says Dorsey's footwork is "horrid" and his first step is "slow and often misdirected." The numbers back up Whitlock's assertion. Dorsey has no sacks and KC's run defense surrenders an NFL worst 6.4 yards per carry.

This article says that he has 18 mil guaranteed left...AND KC would be on the hook for all of it.

You guys think this is true? I can never trust writers anymore on salary cap issues (or contract terms of that matter) because they are so complicated that I don't think even Roger Goodell knows.

I don't think KC would have ever considered trading him at any price if they had 18 mil on their books they couldn't get rid of....I think most teams would trade away any number of picks if they could get their hands on 18 mil.

Besides, DT struggle in their first year, and I think Dorsey has enormous upside. And why can't they fit him in their new system, because he's not a NT? I'm so sick of teams throwing away good players because they don't fit the system. Build a damn system around your players!

first of all....KC is NOT on the "hook" for the guaranteed money, unless they want to be.......you are confusing signing bonus and guaranteed money...two completely seperate things. in that potential trade with Atlanta, the falcons were demanding that KC remain responsible for the guaranteed portion, which was an option if BOTH sides agreed to that. Without such agreement, whatever guaranteed money remaining on the deal, goes with him to the new team if a trade is made. If KC just flat out "cut" him, then they are responsible for the remaining guaranteed money. KC would probably keep him before they ate the guaranteed money.

lets just say hypothetically he signs a 5yr/$50mil deal with $23 guaranteed. Lets say he got $10 mil signing bonus leaving $40 mil left. his pay could be structured as $1 mil first year ($11 mil cash) all guaranteed, $8mil second year with $6 mil guaranteed, $9 mil third year with $6 mil guaranteed , $10 mil fourth year with no guarantee. and $12 mil fifth year no guarantee. they guaranteed $23 mil in first 3 years. he could be cut in 4th year.

take albert haynesworth contract....7yr/ + $100 mil.......he will only see 4 years of that deal paying a total of $48mil for a $12 mil per year average. his salary in year 5 is $29 mil....lol...he will never see it and be cut after 4 years.

  5. I have heard from someone who says that while the developer is buying the house, it is being leased to Marshawn's mother. Can't say if it's true, but it might be what added to the confusion.

This person who told me this has reason to know, but I'd prefer not to out them as it could cost them their job.

i ABSOLUTELY believe some hanky panky is going on.....

  6. THE BILLS ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE......

#1- Short term- if we continue to sellout all home games.

#2- Long Term- thanks to the shrewed marketing of the Bills Front Office they are turning this franchise into a mid to large market with their regionalization of the Toronto, Ontario market. I can not emphasize enough the importance of this effort. Embrace it , support it, it's the ONLY thing that will keep the team saying BUFFALO !!

  7. the orchard park home owned by former buffalo bills quarterback jim kelly has been sold to developer peter krog and his wife laura. they paid $535,000 for the 4,800 sq ft home which was built in 1989 on hillsboro drive.

source- todays buff news page b3.

it had previously been rumored/reported that marshawn bought it.

  8. There are plenty of sports talk call in shows that get very good ratings without the host being rude and condescending to the listeners/callers.

like the Jim Rome show....lol.....he never cuts off a caller or makes fun of them afterwards.......how come i laugh when he does it and i get irritated when schopp does it ?

  9. my senoirity is 1986, my call date was April 21.... i have 4 seats together, trying to move closer to the 50.....no luck this year unless i wanted row 6....lol......too low, sat there one year in row 4 right on the 50, can't see squat with all the players standing up thru whole game. you will get an earful of players talking trash and the towel brigade for partial player privacy while pouring ice down their pants is a treat....lol......A few years back the bills took out the top 6 rows of the lower bowl to add luxury "dugout" suites. The ENTIRE stadiums seating was re-bid, every ticket holder had to go down to the fieldhouse and relocate. i even tried this year to get just two of my seats upgraded, but nothing avail. it's tough to relocate, i try every year.

  10. this isn't the best, but its the first one that popped in my head.....kind of recent, 3-4 years ago.....i'm sitting lower bowl visitors side...i notice a huge disturbance in the end zone (admin end). i get my binoculars out for a closer look, figured it was a fight. everyone is standing up surrounding this one spot, but i don't see what could possibly be getting so much attention, theres no pushing or shoving. everyone is taking pictures from their cell phones, pointing down, but i still can't see anything. i started thinking it must be a topless girl. then about 30 security guys start making their way down the ailse and across the row....about a minute later, up pops O.J. Simpson in some white fur coat.....they tossed him out.....lol...the crowd was going wild.

then theres that time some guy climbed out (from the upper deck) and across the steel cable holding up the netting to catch field goals (admin end)...that was a MNF game with Howard Cosell.

or the time we finally beat Miami at home, fans tore down the goal posts.....hoisted one of the uprights into the stands.....like little ants, carried it up to the top of the lower bowl and tossed it over...thought for sure someone would get killed.....next home game they had dogs guarding the posts.

    thats enough for now....

  11. assuming Evans and Owens are healthy as #1 & #1A...... when the bills go to three wideouts, i would expect Josh Reed to come in next as an inside guy. over the past two seasons he has proven his worth. when they go to 4 wideouts, i would expect Roscoe parrish as an inside guy. i see Johnson backing up evans & owens outside. i think hardy is going to be a non factor early on and possibly a bust, he is slow, a poor route runner, has bad hands and is coming off injury, he is tall tho....i would actually be interested in bulking him up and moving him to tight end.

  12. the one year deal is ideal for both parties...

from the bills perspective....short term - it's high risk - high reward for one year.....long term - i think jauron is on thin ice and if this blows up, the next coach is in better position to move forward without T.O.

from T.O.'s perspective....short term -the bills offer was probably the ONLY real offer. long-term - if i'm T.O. and the bills miss the playoffs, then i probably would rather finish out my hall of fame career with a team that has a legit shot at the super bowl.

personally, i think T.O. will be a smashing success with buffalo....having two legit "#1" wide receivers is gonna leave one with "one on one" coverage.
