  1. complete waste of time. for entertainment purposes only. the only one at risk of leaving the front office/coaching staff is whaley, after the season is over.
  2. #1- defensive coaching #2- EJ
  3. some posters are contankerous
  4. i needed a good chuckle.
  5. if keeping fitz your starter meant NOT picking EJ in the first round of a lousy qb class, your "would we be better off" arguement improves. fitz is currently ranked 23rd in qb passer rating. not good enough. without EJ in the mix, marrone might still be the coach. you could what if this all over the place.
  6. NO ! fitz was and still is better than EJ and Orton. fitz is not better than TT. might have been better off short term (2011 - 2014), but not long term (2015 - 2017).
  7. can i start proclaiming again.... EJ will NEVER be a Franchise QB
  8. assist to EJ with that inaccurate pass to a wide open Sammy who was forced to slam on the brakes and reach back across his body to make the catch. too early to say Sammy is injury prone. one thing is certain, Sammy is a stud and EJ a dud.
  9. Pittsburgh made the 3-4 work with great linebackers. we do NOT have great LB's dropping Mario, hughes and Lawson into coverage is NOT what they do best.
  10. “When we’ve got four guys rushing, we can do some different things,” end Mario Williams said. “Some of the calls that we had, we just didn’t have four guys out there rushing in certain situations, things like that. You know, you’re just playing the call. “We don’t make the calls as players. We’ve got to execute whatever’s called. If it’s three guys going, it’s three guys going and we’ve got to figure out an opportunity, a different way to get there faster.” http://bills.buffalonews.com/2015/10/18/rush-to-judgment-d-linemen-pin-loss-on-3-4-scheme/ the 3-4 does NOT play to our strengths
  11. 'Mario's job in this scheme is to set the edge, which he does very well. the problem is that they should be turning Mario loose to attack the qb.
  12. looked like same ole EJ, no improvement. highlighted by poor accuracy.
  13. everthing sammy said is true. whatever "strings" he pulled (agent spoke to whaley) is fine. going to the media with this info is where he went wrong. should have stayed in house. the only reason you go to the media is over frustration from previous multiple failed attempts to get more targets via so called pulling strings. I still love me some Sammy.
  14. sammy's biggest problem is that his qb's are risk adverse. once they see a hint of double coverage, they look elsewhere. doesn't seem to stop teams like ATL from consistent double digit targets of julio jones. his motive is all about his next contract and putting up the numbers to justify a huge deal.
  15. According to Brent Schrotenboer of USA Today, Nevada has determined that daily fantasy constitutes gambling under state law, bringing such contests within the parameters of the state’s gambling regulations. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/10/15/nevada-tells-daily-fantasy-operators-to-cease-and-desist/ “Since offering DFS in Nevada is illegal without the appropriate license, all unlicensed activities must cease and desist,” declares a notice released by the Nevada Gaming Board.
  16. already thinking about his next contract
  17. that is one big man
  18. colts better be ready for payback sunday night. bet NE runs up the score.
  19. To date, the Patriots are one of only five teams in the league that hasn’t fumbled on a running play this year geez, i thought they owed less fumbling to deflated balls ?? http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/10/15/patriots-quietly-have-the-nfls-most-effective-running-game/
  20. being a backup qb is a much nicer gig than getting a real job outside of football
  21. if he quits on ATL where he sees a clear path to a permanent backup job, he will be without a team after buffalo cuts him in a couple of weeks.
  22. love me some bill parcells.... but he is way off base calling out EJ as a prima donna type. EJ is the exact opposite.
  23. a 100% EJ is better than a 75% TT. i'm no EJ fan until he proves he is better than mediocre. but i'm cheering for EJ to prove his detractors (me included) wrong. i'm very curious to see his development. i'm a big TT fan, but a QB who makes magic with his legs, needs to be healthy, don't force it. if it was me, i'd wait for TT til Miami game.
  24. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
