    manning has serious health issues (nerve damage) and is probably done (at least in Denver). brady is healthy and can go another 3-4 years easily.

    The Bills - the best team in the NFL......not in the playoffs.

    by then, dallas backups will be playing for their nfl future. the only so called "meaningless" games are when winning playoff teams have secured their seeding and rest some starters.

    i'm going the other way on cassel. that trade is the #1 reason we will miss the playoffs. i'm no fan of cassel, but he would not have gift wrapped 21 points to Jax. enjoy your 5th round pick and $1mil in cap savings....thanks whaley. how much would you pay to have that win now ?....$10 mil ??

    I don't believe for a second that Russ Brandon cares more about winning on the field than running a profitable business. owners can say that, until they start losing money. for the sake of argument they are equally important. this is a business, the business is entertainment. it just happens to be a lot more entertaining when your winning.

    i'm going the other way.....whaley knew cutting fred wasn't going to go over well, it was already blocked once in march. whaley knows he's in trouble, as evidenced by the Pegula's trying to hire Polian. this is whaley saying, "f" it, if i'm going down, i'm going down swinging my way.

    Cleveland will not be in the playoffs for about 10 years. he was supposed to be smart enough to cut fred and get a key sponsor and other bills brass informed/prepared BEFORE it became public. this whole going "rogue" suggests otherwise.

    EJ single handedly cost us the Jax game. he sucks. we would be better off eating his remaining $2.5 mil and cutting him after this season.
