  1. Anyone know what time its going to start and if its going to be on tv/radio?
  2. Looking back on the first 10 posts there are some real gems. This is funny in hindsight..
  3. Yes.. but what games do you think they will lose next year: @Titans Cardinals @Ravens @Bills Broncos @Seahawks Jets @Rams BYE Bills Colts @Jets @Dolphins Texans 49ers @Jaguars Dolphins
  4. Buffalo's bearded Bills bang bodies before beating Brady and Belichick.
  5. I disagree that it is irrelevant.. on the contrary I think the play of our QB is one of the most important issues on the team... also I'm not sure you can say its a question no one wants to answer if you yourself are trying to answer it.
  6. First of all.. yes we can move on. But my point is that many people on this board use Fitz's injury as an excuse for his poor performance in the second half of last year. If he was hurt.. why was he playing when it didnt matter?
  7. We've heard no reliable evidence about the injury period. Fitz wont talk about it, coaches wont acknowledge it. Thats my point..
  8. After the Bills lost to the Chargers in week 14, they were all but eliminated from playoff contention at 5-8. My question is... if Fitz had been playing hurt since week 8, then why did he play in the last 3 games? They had almost nothing to play for and if he was hurt to the point where it was affecting his performance, then why not start Thigpen instead?
  9. Have you seen their schedule? Which games do you think they are going to lose?
  10. I'm not sure you addressed any of my points in this response. You also didn't answer my last question.. Who should be favored to win the division?
  11. Well if anyone is going to be successful in getting their passes off inside 2 seconds.. its brady (unfortunately for us). How about that RB-by-committee that they've had for the past 7 seasons? Hasn't stopped them from being successful before. Are you trying to say that the pats shouldn't be favored to win the division?
  12. They are the biggest lock in the league to win their division.. I cant think of a team I would bet more money on to win their division.
  13. Does he have a permit for those?
  14. - Belichek has had some bad drafts on the defensive side of the ball.. but the offense remains as good as ever with picks like gronk and hernandez - They haven't won a superbowl.. but they have been to 2, which is more than most teams can say - The defense gives up a lot of yards, but they are actually middle of the pack in terms of points against - O-line will definitely take a hit.. but they do have 2 pretty promising young tackles in Soldier and Volmer - The pats short passing game is their running game I agree with you.. its possible that the pats don't win the division.. but they absolutely should be the favorite to do so. Well in terms of a "market" the patriots are a cash cow right now. They'll probably be a top stock for the next 5 years before they start to decline. The Bills stock is definitely on the rise.. but they have to win to go up anymore.
  15. Not sure how this is even a question. The patriots are assumed to win the AFC East because: - They have won the division 8 of the last 10 years (and yes, those past results do predict future success) - They have by far the best QB in the division - They have by far the best coach in the division - They have the easiest schedule in the NFL this year Other supporting facts: - They went to the Superbowl last year - Its hard to imagine their defense being worse than it was last year - They added weapons to an already loaded offense (lloyd, stallworth) I'm not trying to bash on the bills.. these are all facts people. I'd like to see someone put together a resume like that for any other team in the AFC East..
  16. Randy Moss: 6'4", 210 lbs, really fast Usain Bolt 6'5", 200 lbs, even faster just saying..
  17. Just to clear the air, a quote by NFL spokesman Steve Alic: "I can tell you absolutely that the score that has been reported on the Internet is inaccurate. I spoke to the person who graded the test, and he assured me that that number was not correct."[35] The next day, the test was properly readministered and Young scored a 16, the same as Dan Marino." I think a good comparison is Kordell Stewart due to his obvious scrambling abilities and comparable wonderlic score of 14. This is what Kordell did in the year that Chan was his OC. Passing: 54% cmp% 3020 yds 21 TDs 17 INTs Rushing: 88 att 476 yds 5.4 avg 11 TDs If anything, Vince is a superior passer to Kordell, so I think its reasonable to expect that he could put up similar numbers if he started a whole season. Also, it is widely known that Cam Newton was dealing with a simplified version of the Panthers playbook last year, which allowed him to fully grasp what he was working on and play with confidence because he actually knew all of the plays he was going to be running during a game. That's an example of a good time to "dumb down" your playbook and how it can be successful.
  18. All I'm saying is that if the Bills start off 5-2 this year, I'm not going to jump with joy. I'm going to proceed with caution.. and I hope the team does too.
  19. Unfortunately we have more to worry about than just the backup QB. (LT, WR, LB, CB to name a few). Not to mention switching to a new scheme on defense and starting rookies at key positions.
  20. You're right.. I didn't realize you were responding to something about completion percentage. Sorry about that.
  21. I think you need to check your definition of a fact before you throw out ridiculous statements like the one above. Are you trying to say that if Fitz completed 16 more passes last year, he would have been a top 5 QB? You really need to frame that a whole lot better.. because that in itself is certainly not a fact. Oh trust me I'm with you there.. I was at the pats game in Buffalo and I'll never forget it. I'll be a bills fan for the rest of my life regardless of whether or not they win another game. I'm just saying that its not as easy as flipping a switch for a fan to immediately adopt a "winners" attitude.
  22. Are you talking about fans or the actual team? Bills fans have been burned twice in the past five years by having a winning mentality. Fans are on the edge of their seats waiting for anything that they can cheer for. I think its perfectly reasonable that fans hold back their off season hopes a little bit until this team proves it can do it the right way.
