  1. If he has sucked with Seattle.. then Fitz has sucked with the Bills
  2. I'd much rather have him than Thigpen or Vince
  3. I'm sure Stevie isn't using his practice time to come up with celebrations.. I'm sure thats something he does on his own time. No player spends 100% of their time working on game film or practicing, you just cant do it you'll get burned out. I think its fine if stevie uses his own personal time to come up with some TD celebrations
  4. Haha you've convinced me!
  5. Saying Polamalu can throw a football is like saying I can throw a football. To clarify he can't throw like an NFL QB There would be little throwing? And you would plan on running behind five 200 lb linemen?
  6. Luckily they would have 30 subs to plug in if he did
  7. "Redskins coach Mike Shanahan sneaks a peak at what Chan Gailey has going on downstairs while the Buffalo coach celebrates a victory"
  8. Lets see.. who are the best pure athletes in todays NFL? Adrian Peterson Patrick Willis Mike Vick Julius Peppers Rob Gronkowski Calvin Johnson Wait.. I just changed my answer to Calvin Johnson
  9. Because he's the hero Gotham deserves, but not the one it needs right now...and so we'll hunt him, because he can take it. Because he's not a hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector...a dark knight. Wait... what?
  10. Haha.. Now that would be an awesome team
  11. Polamalu also cant throw the ball.. how are they going to do anything on offense with 200 lb offensive lineman and a QB who cant throw?
  12. So basically we're looking for someone who is one of the greatest athletes of all time.. but it would be great if he could throw the ball as well? So for somewhat athletic QBs we've got Vick, Newton, Culpepper, Roethlisberger, Tebow, Mcnabb, Mcnair, Stewart, Elway, Young, etc. Not gonna lie.. I have a hard time picking against Roethlisberger. At 6'5" and 240 lbs he's pretty huge. He's tough as nails and can move pretty well. I'll take 22 Big Bens.
  13. Absolutely. They'd definitely want Dareus. After that its kind of a crap shoot. Would they want the huge contract of Mario Williams? Would they want a promising young player without proven experience (Gilmore, Spiller)? Would they want a solid proven piece (Levitre, Johnson, Jackson)? If I'm the Colts I'm taking Dareus, Gilmore and Levitre... and yea I'd do that deal in a heartbeat if I'm the Bills.
  14. Why don't we let Buddy worry about talent evaluation now and worry about extending our current players once the season starts?
  15. 2 Notable Safety Contracts: Ed Reed - 7 years, $40 million ($15 million guaranteed) Troy Polamalu - 4 years, $36.5 million ($10.5 guaranteed) The 2 best safeties in recent memory don't command huge contracts, so I doubt Byrd will be getting a ton of money. I'd expect him to sign a 4 year, $20 milliion contract with something like $10 million guaranteed. I wouldn't be surprised if this got done at some point during the season. It is certainly reasonable to start thinking about extensions now.. but it definitely isn't a pressing need yet.
  16. Well if our QB isn't going to win us any games.. then we really are in trouble
  17. Lets not forget we were one of the worst D's in the league last year. We are changing to a completely new scheme and have a bunch of new faces in the mix. I think 17 sounds about right all things considered. There likely will be growing pains. Its one thing to have great players at some poisitions.. its different to get a whole defense playing together.
  18. So what would your rankings look like Kelly?
  19. I'm glad there are others out there who think Sanchez is terrible!
  20. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000047364/article/defensive-power-rankings-texans-niners-elite?module=HP11_content_stream Middle of the pack: Buffalo Bills, Oakland Raiders, Atlanta Falcons, Jacksonville Jaguars and Washington Redskins Buffalo has been so bad on defense for so long and they continue to adjust their scheme. I need to see it to believe it. According to this article the Bills have the 17th best defense in the league. Now I know that they are just power rankings and someone elses opinion.. but I think its interesting. Does anyone think this defense deservest to be higher even though they haven't played a snap yet together?
  21. I know injured players do play. But if it was so clearly affecting Fitz's play, then I think he should have sat out. 4 tds to 9 ints is just about as bad as it gets. When he was in there for the last 3 games he gave the bills a poor chance to win based on how he was playing. Why not put a healthy Thigpen in and see if he could have done better?
  22. I think this will make the job of the defensive captain all the more important. Whoever it ends up being will have to be a leader on the field and on the sideline
  23. Thanks.. I'll definitely be doing the same
