I had to get any dental work done before I was put on the transplant list. Told the dentist this and they did the work within the month. Got a 30 year old filling replaced and a chipped tooth mended. Had scheduled cleaning done a few days after New Years Day. Next cleaning was supposed to be May but I had to wait until 6 months post transplant. The transplant center gave clearance but it said after Aug 15th. So the dentist put me on their call list if there was an opening. Got a call and got my cleaning right after Labor Day. Have to get the transplant center to prescribe antibiotics for the day before any cleaning.

Contractors will be doing the brunt of the work. But there are so many truckloads of dirt and slate that have to be moved, that the county will have some highway trucks involved. He will be retired by then-he's got two years left on the job. He plowed during that Bills-Indy game where we got 8 " during the game. Thank him and his co-workers for getting Abbott Road cleared. They have been sent to the stadium several times with the sewer vac truck to clean out the sewers after they were clogged with debris from steam cleaning the garbage totes from the parking lots on a Monday after the game.

My brother works for the county highway dept. and they have told them that the county will take the old stadium debris and the slate and dirt taken out at the new stadium site and fill in the current stadium site. They plan on alternating a layer of debris/slate with a layer of dirt, compacting each layer as it is laid down. The current stadium site will be parkling.

For those not in WNY, ECC will vacate the South Campus and move into the business park down Big Tree (20A) down towards the 219.

I've had back problems and rrecety recovered from a kidney transplant. i would leave the cart by my car because it was difficult to even get it to the corral especially in snow. Since the trasplant my back has gotten better but I use the motorized cart when I have to go all over the supermarket. Don't have a handicapped tag so if I park close to the entrance I'll take the motorized cart back inside. Otherwise, I leave it in the corral.

7 months post transplant for me. Keep doing any exercises the OT or PT people sassigbed. I got the PT people to give me exercises after the transplant to help my back that I messed up taking care of my mom >3 years ago. Still do them every day except when I had to wear a wound vac and after I had a car accident in August. Weaning myself off the cane. If I am grocery shopping. I'll use the motorized cart to get around the entire store. It's a slow but steady progress. Don't try to rush it. And the memory is just like another muscle. Keep exercising that too. Also keep good upbeat attutude. Every day since my stroke in 2014 is a bonus day and every day since this Valentine's Day is a double bonus.
