I wouldn't be too concerned if I didn't have a 93 ½ year old mother. She recovered from a bout of pneumonia a year ago. I am taking every precaution when I go shopping.

Went to get bread and Kleenex today Just normal stuff. Went to Save a Lot ( cut rate market like an Aldi) bare bread shelf. Went to a Dollar general next door for Kleene-empty. Went to Tops. Got bread although they hdidn't have much. Aldi's was closed. Endd getting Kleenex at another Dollar General near home. At least the streets were empty.

Using yeast i developed a a method to map replication origins (where DNA starts replicating- they are very defined in yeast). Bacteria have no nucleus. Then studied herpes DNA replication proteins and possible gene therapy vectors as a postdoc.
