  1. I just have one thing to say. We could have had Orakpo and we passed on him for another first round bust.
  2. Campbell is a loser. He has no pocket awareness, gets sacked too often and he has never lead the skins to a winning season. Sounds just like the QB failures we have had in the past. I might part with Roscoe Parrish in a trade heads up for him but that's about it.
  3. If the Bills go out and get Jason Campbell to be their starter, the Bills will not make the playoffs or have a winning season for years. He would doom Chain Gailey and his staff right from the start. I would rather take my chances with Trent Edwards or Brohm. He is not accurate and is potentially worse than J. P. Losman. He has proven that he is not a worthy starter in this league and has done nothing to say otherwise.
  4. I'd rather give Trent a shot with a competent offensive line than giving up valuable early round draft picks for lousy aging FA quarterbacks that have proven they are either near the end of their careers (ie McNabb) or QB's that have shown they suck (ie . Campbell, Thigpen, Brady, Anderson etc.). I'd rather concentrate our efforts on the offensive and defensive lines and let Trent or Brohm see if they can lead this team and draft Lafavour, Tebow or Pike in rounds 3 or 4 to groom.
  5. This was discussed on buffalorumblings.com a few days ago discussing QB options for the Bills.
  6. If we go out and trade a first round pick for McNabb like we did for Bledsoe, we will have the same results. Another lost first round pick for an average over the hill quarterback who's heading toward retirement. Without an offensive line McNabb will suck. He is terrible when pressured just like Bledsoe. Do not trade for McNabb.
  7. If we go out and trade for Jason Campbell, we doom this team for years to come. The only way I take him is if he is a free agent. I'm sick to my stomach thinking about Gailey trading for him to be our starter. The guy sucks. He is why the Redskins have sucked for years. Please don't do this. I'd rather take my chances on developing Brohm and staying with Edwards then getting Campbell.
  8. I would want McNabb but at what cost? The guy will require a very high salary and require draft picks. He will not what to come to a team that isn't going to make the playoffs. At his age he will want to win a super bowl at all costs. I don't see him being motivated to play for the Bills. I voted for giving Trent Edwards another chance with hopefully a better offensive scheme and an offensive line. Let him dual it out with Brohm and perhaps a later round QB like Lafavour and spend our money on the offensive and defensiove line and draft some LB's for the 3 4 scheme.
  9. Why in the hell would McNabb come to Buffalo this late in his career? If he is traded to Buffalo, I see an unmotivated, unhappy player coming to a team that has no offensive line, with no potential to get to the playoffs. He will be a bust in Buffalo. Don't waste the pick to get him. I would rather see Vick in Buffalo because he will have something to prove. He will be motivated to play well and will be cheaper.
  10. Quite honestly if it was me it would be the Dolphins. But the most hated throughout, it's got to be the Cowboys. Ever since they were called America's team.
  11. Hard to believe that they hired Gailey without him having a Defensive Coordinator lined up. I don't see any real good quality DC's available which could be real problem next year. If he is struggling to find a DC, this defense will probably regress next year. Don't you go into an interview for head coach basically having a coaching staff lined up. How did Gailey win this coaching job without a staff picked out? Jeff Quinn of the Bulls had a staff basically set within less than a week of being given the job.
  12. I'm getting abit worried about the Sabres. The lost 5-2 which makes for three straight losses. As soon as they start selling playoffs tickets they lose three straight. I see a them going into a mid season tailspin like they do every year about this time.
  13. It looks as if Kelly and Thomas want no part of this debacle. They know what a horrible decision this was and that this thing isn't going to turn around. The Bills will go 7-9, 7-9, 7-9 and then 6-10 before they fire Gailey and we are right back here in four years time. We will be wishing we hired Leslie Frazier once he takes a team to the playoffs for the third time. Unbelievable.
  14. Phily is going to ask for a first round pick for McNabb, and I would say no way in hell.
  15. It is sad enough that the bills have no coach and no direction, but the bad teams in the AFC such as Cleveland and Kansas City are going to improve next year. Holmgren will improve the Browns and Crennel and Weiss will vastly improve the Chiefs. It looks as if Oakland and the Bills will be vying for the worst teams in the AFC next year and years to come. I don't see this team ever getting to the playoffs with this owner and front office. Let's Go Sabres!!!!! Let's go Bulls!!!!! Is there any way we can get Warde Manual to be the GM of the Bills. At least he is trying to improve UB's sports image.
  16. I think I want the Vikings to win so the Bills have a chance to interview Jason Garrett. Doubt he'll interview but there is always a chance.
  17. I'm embaressed and I'm not even in the Bills front office about this coaching search. I feel like everybody is laughing at us. I didn't think things would get even worse than the season, but this coaching search is even harder to take then the Jauron debacle of the last several years. How does this front office and Bills fans save face from this utter chaos of a coaching search. I can't think of anything they could do to save face other than hire Cowher, but of course that isn't going to happen. After hearing that Harbaugh turned down the job, how would you feel if you were Leslie Frazier? If I was Frazier and the Bills came running now, I wouldn't take the job offer either. We may have just blown it with him as well. Who is left when Frazier and Grimm turn down the Bills as well?? Don't expect Garrett to interview. Why would he leave Dallas and that new stadium to come to a hopeless team like Buffalo with this inept front office and owner.
  18. If this is true, this is a desperation move by the Bills in order to bring some excitement to the team by making a bold move. However, it backfired since Harbaugh turned down the job. This just makes things worse and now we are more desperate than before. This is just so sad.
  19. Cable appears is going to get fired, and Fassel is the leading candidate for the Oakland job. If Jack Del Rio or Jeff Fisher get the USC job, look for Fox to leave Carolina and take that job opening, which would put Cowher in Carolina. The Bills are not getting Cowher or Fox and will be hiring a coach that was a coordinator last year. There will be no big name coaches coming to Buffalo. It will be another Williams or Malarkey fiasco. Neither Fox or Cowher will come to Buffalo, which I think are the only candidates which can turn this franchise around. Frazier will most likely be our next coach with Al Sanders or Palmer as the offensive coordinator.
  20. If these two allegation are true about him stealing $20. He may very well be suspended for a full year. This would be the third and fourth strikes against him. If he is suspended for a full year, you wouldn't be able to get anything for him.
  21. The only positive thing that has happened in the past month has been that Philadelphia got their buts kicked and Peters has looked pathetic the last two weeks. Looks like that large salary didn't improve this team. I may get ripped for this post, but I had to find something positive to say about this year. The Peters situation still has me pissed after the debacle of our offensive line this year.
  22. Cable and/or Phillips may be gone next week and Fisher or Del Rio may end up at USC. Cowher will hang until all opportunities have been exhausted before considering the Bills job. This could take weeks. I think Bills will hire Frazier as head coach early next week before they lose him to another coaching vacancy. Just my opinion. For what it's worth this doesn't excite me at all, but the Bills have no choice. I hope I am wrong buts this seems very realistic.
  23. It has been reported that Jeff Fisher or Jack Del Rio may be in line for USC job. Cowher would take either of these jobs if open. Looks like Frazier is our next coach. This won't get fans in the seats next year and will be another failure.
  24. I live in Florida and the Bills game was not on here. Were there a lot of signs for Cowher at the game?
