  1. Next weeks game is going to be really ugly. The Ravens have a great defense so I don't see us getting more than 3 points. I think that Ray Rice will rush for over 175 yards and two score and Willis Mcgahee will rush for 50 yards and a score. The Bills won't be able to run so they will have to pass, so I see six sacks and three picks of Fitzpatrick. After next week everyone will be clamoring for Brohm. After next week, there will also be an injury to a key player, Fitzpatrick goes down with a concussion.
  2. Taylor is another Pat White. He is not a franchise quarterback. He'll get drafted and be in the league for three years and he'll be gone.
  3. I think the Green injury is a ploy to take him out of the starting line-up while trying to save the face of the front office that signed him to a three year 9 million dollar contract. I don't blame Wilson for that mistake, I blame Nix and Company for that pathetic move. I absolutely have zero confidence in the front office and this coaching staff. They have made mistake after mistake since they arrived. Quite honestly they can stock pile draft picks all they want, but I don't have any confidence in there ability to draft or sign FA's that are difference makers. The front office reminds me of the democrats destroying the country like they are destroying this team.
  4. The only move I can say is signing undrafted rookie Nelson. There is nothing else.
  5. I agree with most of what you said, but I bet Luck doesn't come out next year if the Bills have the Number 1 pick. If he isn't available, we try to trade down for more picks. I agree we need to trade Stroud, Whitner, and Evans. The only problem is we won't get anything substantial for any of them, and I don't trust that we will draft successfully no matter what or how many picks we have. Actually, the more I think about, this team is hopeless under this owner, front office and coaching staff. I don't think anything they do will fix this mess. I mean what positive moves has this team made in the last six years? I can't really think of any great decisions other than signing Peters, and Nelson as undrafted free agents. Have any of our draft picks really lived up to expectations? If they did they were allowed to walk via free agency. Maybe Kyle Williams, but even he is not a difference maker. Have any of our free agent pick ups really been difference makers. None. I see no hope until this team is sold to another owner, and at that point in time the Bills may not be in Buffalo. Does it get any more hopeless than that?
  6. I can't believe George Edwards is the best defensive coordinator that Gailey could find. He is a LB coach and our LB's are the worst in the NFL. There are about 10 better defensive coordinator options out there. If this continues and he remains the DC after this year, I fire this whole regime. This team can't even be competitive.
  7. My honest opinion is that if Luck is available you take him. If not, you trade down for more picks. I don't want Mallet or Pender. They are too inconsistent. We need DL and OT first and foremost. If you can't stop the run or stop a pass rush what good is a QB.
  8. Cornell Green gets demoted to second string. What a waste of 3 years for $9,000,000 dollars. Unbelievable.
  9. Getting two basically useless draft picks doesn't do it for me. You are basically getting anotherMarcus Easley and Ellison type player for Lynch. Based on our pathetic drafting these two picks will last about two or three years in the NFL and then they will get cut. The salary we saved goes towards Kelsay's extension. Oh Boy what a magnificent move.
  10. You are right on here. Darius is a true difference maker. He would solidify the defensive front. If Luck is not available we take him, but there are no other QB's worth taking in the top ten.
  11. I am very concerned that if the Bills do get the first pick in the draft next year, they will screw it up. I have absolutely no confidence in Modrak and Nix at this point to pick the right player. Even worse I am concerned that the player they pick will hold out or not get signed altogether (see Jim Kelly). Jim went to another league before signing with the Bills losing two years. I am also concerned that the Bills will not be willing to pay the first pick in the draft and they will trade the pick. I mean does anybody have any confidence that this front office can build this team through the draft? Their drafting has been brutal. Bills fans can do a better job then they can when it comes to drafting players. We all new that Whitner, Maybin, Losman, and McCargo were all big time reaches which would not pan out. There were players that we fans new were better picks but our front office picked players that have failed this team. Do you remember that we had the fourth pick in the draft several years ago and we took the wrong tackle instead of taking McKinnie. Just another example if the front office's miserable failures. Worse yet we take players that are projects and spend three to four years grooming them. Then if they do happen to succeed, they walk via free agency because this team won't pay to keep great players but they will pay to keep players like Kelsay.
  12. We are only four weeks into the season and the amount of mistakes this front office and coaching staff have made is unbelievable. Why aren't these stiffs made accountable for this crap they are putting on the field: 1. Keeping Trent Edwards as our starting quarterback 2. Hiring Gailey and Edwards to coach this team 3. Not getting a Free agent quarterback (ie. Vick) 4. Getting rid of T. Owens - He had 221 yards today 5. Signing Cornell Green at $3,000,000 per year and then starting him 6. Giving a 4 year contract extension to Kelsay - Why?? 7. This last draft class - looks terrible so far 8. Not trading a RB for somebody that can actually help this team 9. Not signing a WR to complement Evans, Steve Johnson is not the answer 10. Not signing any Tackles to help this offensive line 11. Moving to a 3/4 defense without having anybody that can actually play a 3/4 defense 12. Keeping players that don't play up to their salaries (ie. Whitner, McCargo, Kelsay, Stroud, Fred Jackson, McKelvin, Lynch, Evans, etc...
  13. I don't know what you guys are seeing. Mallett has terrible foot work and when pressured he throws off his back foot and it gets intercepted or he is inaccurate. Arkansas does not run a pro style offense so he will be another project like Maybin. We don't need more projects especially with our first round pick. We need players that can make an impact right away. His mobility is a big issue, and he doesn't have the mind and smarts of the Manning Brothers. Based purely on interviews, he seemed very unintelligent. It may not be fair for me to judge based on that, but he just doesn't impress me. This is just an opinion based on what I have seen, heard and read about him. Believe me, if we draft him and he becomes our starter for the next 15 years and we start improving and competing, I will love this guy. Just don't see it right now.
  14. Ryan Mallet is going to be bust in the NFL. His personality reminds me of Ryan Leaf and his ability reminds me of Drew Bledsoe without the accurancy. On the Bills, you must be mobile since we can't block. Our only option at quarterback in next years draft is Andrew Luck if he declares. I might take Locker in the second round but he is too inaccurate. It is going to be an interesting draft next year with the pending lock out. It also does not appear that there are any Tackles worth taking in the top 15 picks in next years draft. What will the Bills do if Luck is not available? I am scared to think about it. I bet another RB or CB.
  15. The Bills just wasted $24 million dollars of cap space for a player that should not be starting and is on the down side of his career. Think of all the young players we let go because the Bills were unwilling to pay this kind of salary which are now real starters or pro bowl players: Pat Williams, Winfield, Clements, Wiley, Peters, Greer just to name a few. And we just let them most of them go for basically nothing. This is absolute stupidity. This move is almost as pathetic as some of the first round picks we have taken in the last ten years. How can you honestly justify this move?? I think this move truly shows that the front office has no clue on how to build a contending team. Think of all the players we could potentially sign as free agents next year for this kind of money. And some of you people think this may lead to some trade. No team would trade for Kelsey with this salary?? No team would trade for Kelsey period.
  16. I'm sorry, I don't care what this guy brings as far as leadership. The guy certainly doesn't warrant a raise and contract extension. Hell, I was hoping he would get cut so we could save money on the cap next year. Hell, I can bring leadership and I can be a stand up guy in the locker room and I will do it for $100,000 a year. But this guy should not be starting as a LB in this league. Quite honestly, if he is starting at LB next year I would be amazed. He just doesn't have the speed to cover TE's or running backs out in the flat or down the seem. A contract extension for $24 million to a guy that should not start. That's unbelievable. That's Schobel numbers. You won't even be able to trade this guy with that kind of salary and extension. I am now convinced that this team is absolutely going in the wrong direction. Cutting your starting QB and now signing this guy to a multiple year extension. Now other teams fans are now laughing at us not just players on opposing teams. You think Whitner is upset with other teams laughing at the players, what about other teams fans laughing at us Bills fans. This could quite honestly be one of the most horrible contract extensions this team has ever done, and just think of the cap space this guy takes up for the next several years. Unbelievable. Give me a respirator. Please tell me this is a joke!!!!!
  17. And you think they can go into New England and win especially after the Pats are in desperate mode after they lost to the Jets. The Patriots will beat the Bills as bad as the Packers did.
  18. Have you noticed the improvement in the Kansas City Chiefs. Could it be that their past offensive coordinator, Chan Gailey, and their past Offensive Line coach that we have now may have been causing some of their problems. The Chiefs are improving without Gailey and D'Alle.... I think that Ralph Wilson has made another huge error in hiring Nix and Gailey. I know it has been two games but this team looks worse than last year. And this staff still doesn't understand that you have to rebuild with the offensive and defensive lines first, not with an under sized RB that can't make any yards without a hole. Notice than Spiller and Evans have done nothing in two games. The only saving grace is that the Dallas Cowboys are 0-2 and Wade Phillips is heading towards getting fired.
  19. They say we dodged a bullit with him being out only two to three games. Well when we start 0-3, you might as well put him on IR like Mitchell so we can see what we have for the future at that position. There is no sense moving forward with this guy if he is only going to play half a year or worse each year. We need players that play every game. He isn't worth a new contract extension.
  20. Just think, we are paying this guy $3,000,000 per year for three years. This is the best we could come up with at RT in free agency. Just shows you that nobody wants to play for this team. We can't convince anybody that is decent to come to this team.
  21. You thought this week was bad, wait until next week and week after that. Us fans may as well watch the game as if its preseason because the only thing I'll be watching is looking for players that may contribute in the future. This season really is just a 16 game preseason for next year. Think of it that way and you might not feel as bad. Next week I see us getting wiped out by a 38-6 score on the road against Green Bay. What is really going to be depressing is Rodgers making our DB's look average at best. After next week, you may realize that our DB's are not as good as you think.
  22. I can't see how they will have a chance to win a game until they play Kansas City. Looks like 0-6 to start the year because this is the only winnable game on the early schedule. It is unbelievable that this team could not win this game. Opening day at home with the Dolphins General Manager just quiting on his team and we couldn't do anything offensively to win this game. Why do we have three good RB's if we don't have an offensive line, QB or WR's that are good enough to keep the defense honest. We have three talented RB's that will not do anything this year because we can't throw the ball. These defenses will continue to stack against the run. After this game, every team is going to put 8 players on the line and dare Buffalo to throw the ball. Must say I was very disappointed in Chan Gailey's Offensive Scheme. I'm sorry this guy doesn't impress me. It is going to be another long year. It's pretty bad when after the first week, the only thing you can look forward to is next years draft.
  23. So far our OT's can't stop anybody from getting to the QB. If we can't throw long for fear of getting sacked all the time, this offense won't succeed. Lynch is in his last year of his contract. We are only going to lose him to free agency unless we trade him now or during the season. Trade Lynch for McNeil right now while McNeil is holding out. Without OT help, this team doesn't win 5 games this year.
  24. I still think this team is in big trouble because of the offensive line. How can Gailey think so highly of D. Bell if he hasn't been able to practice yet? Doesn't make any sense. This team has not upgraded its offensive line situation from last year. I don't see how they think this offensive line is going to improve the same hurt players they had last year outside of Green who is not really an upgrade. All this optimism for a team that has not addressed its most glaring problem from last year. This offensive line will not suddenly become good just because we have a new coaching staff. This offensive line is still not talented enough to open holes and give the QB time to throw.
  25. Let me say one thing: I hope we get Gaither, but riddle me this: 1. Gaither will cost a lot of money to extend his contract and will probably cost a second round pick and more (Yabouty) 2. Gaither is another Peters in that he has motivational problems just like Peters. 3. Peters was a pro bowl player, Gaither is not. 4. Why didn't we sign Peters if Gaither is the same kind of players with similar issues, but not as good as Peters? Sounds like we traded one headache (Peters) for another potential headache in Gaither. Don't get me wrong I hope we make the trade because we having a gaping hole at LT, but I must say I am not convinced this guy won't be a head case like Peters with less ability. I'm concerned that the Bills won't be able to negotiate a contract extension and this trade dies.
