  1. Sounds like something Tgreg may agree with.
  2. Mind you, I haven't read the rest of the thread, so I'm not sure there is any additional news beyond this. But from the sound of things, the foot is fine to play, it's just a matter of tolerating pain. If that is indeed the case and we don't hear anything from any medical professional or team official that indicates that his foot is in jeopardy of more structural damage, then he better be out there this Thursday of he'll rightfully be crucified from the Bills fan base.
  3. Yeah, Trump has gone from saying stuff that was extremely idiotic a month ago to a more mild version of his dumbassery. He's graded on a curve. That, and the fact that Hillary's emails and foundation lies and corruption have come to the forefront.
  4. Or maybe you could post whatever the topic is about rather than your obsession of other fans attitudes. Just an idea.
  5. Fantastic. I'm ready Do you ever post anything other than these sort of posts? Its like you have a complex or something.
  6. I'm against illegal immigration, I've made that point on numerous occasions. What I'm against is straight up bigotry. I'm against the tone and tenor towards minorities from the Republican party. I see it daily, not just here on this site, but just read the comments section on any conservative site when it comes to immigration. It's a cesspool of bigotry, intolerance and ignorance. The fact that Trump was polling at below 5% and with his announcing speech that he was running, states and then goes from 5% to nearly 20% overnight. I'm sorry, that says something about many Republican primary voters. There is no rational way to look at that statement and not come to the conclusion that it was extremely bigoted. Then Trump says he wants to Ban Muslims. His support goes to nearly 30%. Poll after poll after poll shows that the majority of Republican voters agree with this. It's mind boggling. It's an embarrassment, it's stupid, it's ignorant and it's not even just these things. He opens his mouth, and what comes out? $hit. $hit is what comes out of his mouth. I can't think of a more arrogant narcissistic person in this world than Trump. I can't fathom the fact that he knows nothing, is extremely unprepared, literally contradicts himself in mid sentence and his supporters stay mum. Is it that his supporters are a bunch of dumbasses and they can't see it or are they so blindly partisan that since he has an R in front of his name, that they just ignore it? I look at you guys, the Trump supporters, and I think. What the !@#$ is wrong with you? Are you !@#$ing stupid? We all say that Hillary is corrupt and a liar and a crook. And you know what? She is! But you know what? Trump lies every other sentence that comes out of his mouth. He has admitted that he is corrupt and that he buys politicians. The guy reeks of authoritarianism. He's not conservative. He's not a small government Republican. He's not prepared. He's a know-nothing. He has no core. He has no true beliefs. His beliefs are based on one sole guiding light and that is self-advancement. He doesn't give a $hit about you. He is a rich guy who looks at his life and thinks to himself Power. How can he obtain Power? That's it. You guys have been duped. Exactly! Any conservative who actually looks to try to address the issue is seen as a "traitor". As a friend of the "invaders". Yes, they aren't the same thing, but they are damn near synonymous with one another.
  7. I agree with TYTT. I was just thinking about this a little earlier today. Republicanism and what it means? Well, it used to mean conservatism, strength on the world stage, libertarian views on regulations and self-responsibility. That's how I used to view it. Over the years, issues such as immigration have come to largely shape the Republican party. And make no mistake, Trump's bigoted harsh views on immigration is what excited Republican base voters to land him the nomination. Conservatism is no longer the driving force for Republicans. By choosing Trump and supporting him, you are endorsing his remake of the Republican party. And lets call for what it is, it's straight up Nationalism, which is very identity and race driven. You may value conservative values, and I don't doubt you whatsoever BMan, but that's not how most people will view Trump and the Republican party. I have come to lose a lot of respect for Republican voters, I see them now in almost the same negative light as I see Democratic voters. The base of one party cares nothing about self-accountability and believes that the government should be the answer to most problems and the other party's base believes that brown people are decaying the country and world.
  8. Yeah, on the other hand there is a lot to be said for stability.
  9. I have the complete opposite view of this. Hillary's war vote, cost her the 2008 primary vs. Obama. And to this day, there are progressives around the country and on this board who cannot and will not accept her apology and in many other cases among Democratic voters are wary of her, hence the lack of enthusiasm there is for her in the Democratic party. Trump on the other hand is held to a much lower standard. Most people recognize that he's a buffoon, most of us have already been so shell shocked by his mind numbing stupidity that nothing he does really surprises us any longer. Sure, the media loves to replay his numerous gaffes and insanely idiotic comments, simply because it is entertainment, media is in it for the ratings and he is ratings gold. The point is, Trump literally changes positions in mid sentence. He has no core beliefs, he is a narcissistic know-nothing, who doesn't have the mental fortitude to actually study up on any real actual positions. It's beyond belief that people are not able to see through this facade. Every single thing that comes out of his mouth is either a complete fabrication or proposals that have no real thought behind them. Seriously. Everything he says is ****. I look at the TV, I look at my wife or my parents and we all just look at each other and give each other a look as if "Is this real?". At first I just couldn't fathom his support, I thought to myself, "My god, what is wrong with these people who are supporting this dumbass". Then I got over it and put it aside. But now, it's coming back again, I'm just listening to this idiot and I just keep thinking to myself, "what the !@#$ is wrong with you people? Don't you see that he's a moron?" This goes back to what I was saying about conspiracy theories. A trademark tell that you know it's a conspiracy theory are the fact they typically use unnamed sources. Hence "NYPD cop". No name, just that it was an NYPD cop. Look at this board, a good portion of the conservatives are running with the story. This did not use to be the case. This is what mindless nationalistic populism is bringing to the GOP.
  10. I usually have a rule of thumb when dealing with conspiracy theorists, and I've had this way of doing things for as long as I can remember. Which is; Don't engage in an argument with them. Why? Because the conversations take place on two different landscapes. One is using acknowledged and verified and sourced accounts vs. the other using unprovable, non verified and non sourced accounts. Or if they are sourced, it's typically not a smoking gun per se but rather a piece of evidence that can be used to bolster their argument. But rarely a provable piece of evidence. You aren't a classic conspiracy theorist, you at least use some sourced data, mind you it is typically cherry picked data, but you use some sourced and verifiable data to fit into an overarching conspiracy narrative. We can at least have somewhat of a conversation. I think that your default mode is that your viewpoint is from a conspiratorial side, and in my experiences those that have a predetermined supposition/belief tend to be more prone to have accounts that aren't factually provable. That's because that is what you are wanting to believe, rather than just allowing all the data to come in without having a predisposed view and forming your opinion after collecting data. I'm not saying that you don't ever do this, just that in way too many topics, your views are associated with conspiracies. If it were just a few conspiracy theories, that would be one thing, but when someone is consistently on that side of the realm, then it tells me they are wanting to believe that.
  11. You see? Partisans with conspiracy theories. The base of the Republican party has made conspiracy theories go mainstream.
  12. It has nothing to do with being partisan and everything to do with conspiracy theories. Some of the most partisan people on this board are conspiracy theorists, just look at many of the Trump supporters. Conspiracy theories in the vast majority of cases are unprovable. It wasn't a knock on you, just an observation. I've seen you on many occasions say one thing at one point, to only contradict yourself at a later point and when confronted, you come up with some opaque winding explanation as to why the contradiction. Hence the characterization, slippery.
  13. Greg is slippery, you have to be when the foundation of many of your theories are ambiguously unprovable.
  14. No, he's not a heavyweight on any topic as you say. His running mate is pretty sharp.
  15. It was brutal. Without doubt this is his weakest area, Foreign policy. Mind you, he still knows more about foreign affairs than the narcissistic know-nothing Trump and has a better track record than the entitled crook Hillary but none the less, it was an unfortunate moment for him.
  16. It's always fun watching liberals get all up in a tizzy over what they perceive to be bias against their candidate. On a side note, Lauer did grill her and rightfully so. She hardly does any press conferences and this was an opportunity for Lauer to ask questions that many Americans want to know.
  17. I suppose the NFL would have to stick to their guns at that point, but an appeals process could look to overturn it, setting precedence.
  18. No, all I see now is the unveiling of the IPhone 7348291
  19. No comment It is. But still. Damn!
  20. Should be a 4 game suspension if he never was prescribed MJ. Should be a 1-2 game suspension if he was prescribed but never made the NFL aware of it beforehand. There should be no suspension if he was prescribed and made the NFL aware of it beforehand.
  21. I admit, I once in a while speak of media bias, because it does indeed exist. But holy ****, this board has an absolute obsession regarding media bias.
  22. He probably died like most other young African Americans, shot by someone in his local community.
  23. I'm not here to debate whether or not Marijuana should be omitted from the list of illegal drugs list from the NFL, just that if Seantrel was prescribed Marijuana for his illness, he should have disclosed it to the NFL.
