  1. its funny, i kept thinking about him after that 5-1 start, and what might have been going thru his mind after he was put on IR. but, naturally, everything turned to garbage and it was a moot point.
  2. i agree completely, that whole scenerio with him just before the season was strange. that being said, guess it remains to be seen if he has any upside left.
  3. are you really that illiterate "new york wise guy" sounding?, or, are you just portraying a character? cannot get a read, but , either way, i find it entertaining..
  4. thanks for the idea!, sounds workable for me!
  5. i do realize that, and appreciate your encouraging words. like i said, it was an impulsive thing and am aware of the crowd on here and really do love the dialogue..
  6. i am feeling much better! thank you
  7. forget it!, some on here are more interested in being glib , witty, whatever.. i am just not there , i guess..... don your lampshades and return to being the life of the party, be the star in your breakroom, i will go back and think deeply before starting a thread..
  8. wow!, just impulsively decided to start a thread, was not looking for attention, but i will certainly be more cognizant of the sensitive people on here, those that "police" this . very tough crowd!.. good for you troll patrol!.. you told me!
  9. i know there was a recent thread about "being sick of hearing about the jets". i just thought i would re-kindle the thoughts. i am quite sure a great deal of the contributors on this site surf the various other football sites. but, come on!, anybody check out ESPN on a regular basis? there is not a day that goes by that there are not articles about revis, rex ryan, jason taylor, same old crap! tim graham just wrote about the new stadium. i , like everyone else on here, hope the jets flop this year. i know it is NEW YORK, but it is nauseating to keep being fed jets hype. enough already!
  10. is your spiller jersey a throwback?, i just rec'd a birthday present that i requested, a blue throwback spiller jersey, it is just plain awesome.
  11. beck and limbaugh are in the same place the hollywood libs are!, NOWHERE TO BE FOUND!, IN ADDITION, why would the "usual suspects" , penn, madonna, bring attention to it. it may bring attention to obama, whom hollywood supported. GOOD FOR THE SAINTS!
  12. did not say they were bad people, just wondering where they are?, like i said, noble effort in haitii , how about the U. S , THATS ALL!
  13. i thought the players on the saints who took the time to help during the gulf oil crisis was really a nice gesture. i sometimes wonder where are the same people i. e. george clooney, sean penn, etc, who couldnt help haitii fast enough! how about stepping it up for the U S A !.. good job saints!
  14. from PFT talk .com:"The team announced today that it will raffle off an authentic Super Bowl ring, with tickets going for just $2 a pop and proceeds going toward Gulf Coast renewal. So if you've always wanted a Super Bowl ring but you've come to the realization that you're probably not going to earn one as a player, this is your chance. I could get on a soapbox here about how cleaning up the oil spill is supposed to be BP's responsibility, and the Saints shouldn't have to do things like this. But I won't. Instead I'll just say that this is a great gesture by a team that has shown a great commitment to its community. It's stories like this that make it hard not to root for the saints".
  15. L A ?, where?, no stadium and no real plans to build them. do you think the owners would just let trump waltz into L A?, highly doubt it. i think he would be humble enough to be part of the NFL fraternity, and smart enough to know he can make money in buffalo.
  16. was ozzie with him?
  17. flores NEVER wore 21, he wore 16 , not the number he wore in oakland. i believe he wore 15 in oakland, kemp had it here , obviously.
  18. i am not sure of the level of interest in him as far as the bills braintrust is, but it will obviously boil down to dollars, and if they are equal, it will be denver, as we know. i hope, more than anything else, that this regime restores the bills as an organization that can shake the irrelevancy and return the team's reputation as a desirable place to play, a team that is committed to doing whatever it takes to win.
  19. this is the first hint of adams being connected to the bills since he was cut. i say.. "why not?", like you said, the more the merrier...
  20. what is wrong with lynch? i know he is a complete !@#$ , but he has a heckuva upside as a running back. i envision him contributing this year, but the attitude is indefensible. i am strictly evaluating his ability to contribute to the success of the bills , but my patience is wearing thin.
  21. non-story, please do not take offense, nothing personal, but why give this attention- seeking jackass the time of day. he is a good player, no doubt, but getting sick of places like PFT filling time with non-stories.
