Sam Bradford or Colt McCoy is the solution here... anyone who is willing to do more than play it uber-safe and watch the other team eventually out-score us and our defense collapse into faints because of the time of possession. Against New England, it looked intelligent. Now that teams know we won't threaten in the middle of the field, it is child's play. The last drive in the game with Edwards convinced me that he's not the guy for us- it was so vanilla that I swear it looked like we were WINNING rather than losing.

Hmmmm... now who needs meds?? He doesn't need to blame them; it is patently obvious to any intelligent fan what the media is trying to do. Just because Dungy has a ring doesn't mean that he is right, and in this case he is not. I guess you want the team to be in disarray and for T.O. to run over his own teammates... that in itself says a lot.
-
Yes, really... anyone who thinks it is OK to goad a player into trying to throw his teammates under the bus is despicable, IMO. Why do that when it is so totally unnecessary? We all watch the games, and can see what is going on. Ohh, by the way, we've only thrown to TO less than 10 times in three games, so there goes the "bringing it on himself" excuse- and when we did try, it was forced into him and overthrown.
-
No, don't let it go- keep it up, and maybe more in the media who think that T.O. is somehow slighting them or needs to say something controversial so they can have something to write/talk about will feel the heat. I love the anger... it is very warranted. Don't lose it- the minute we get complacent is when we lose our power as fans.

I can agree with that- very good point! -

Whatever- utter garbage. It is extremely obvious that the media is now trying to obtain a highly controversial tantrum from T.O., and I think it is pathetic. The object is to WIN THE GAME, not to throw to T.O. because we paid him in the offseason- if we win with him as a draw on the defense, then we WIN, no matter how little he touches the ball. We lost because we tried to force it to him, not because he didn't touch it enough!! That first question, like the others I quoted, are horsesh*!. I don't care if they come from Olean or from New York City, they are questions that are deliberately trying to provoke T.O., and it is slimy. I don't care how much money T.O. makes either- I sure as hell wouldn't appreciate questions such as those... you're in the minority on this issue. -
Tim, I know you will probably not respond to this until after the game, but I have to know- I noticed that the NFL Countdown crew made it a point to ask if the weather would give the Saints more problems or would it be the Buffalo defense. Isn't that unfair to take away from the Bills' defense if they do do well? If the Bills do manage to stunt the Saints attack or even win the game, then I feel that the weather has been put out there as an excuse. Ohh, and it doesn't help that two former AFC East players (Keyshawn Johnson with the Jets and Cris Carter with the Dolphins) have places in front of the camera to say it will be the weather... just a note.

+1. That says it all- great point!

Are the wagons finally circling?

Week 3 or not, it is obvious that Joey Galloway is a piss-poor replacement, Seymour is a huge loss, and the Patriots won't win vs. good opponents without a healthy Brady. His passing has cost them games, but that can't last forever unless he is playing through pain or nagging injuries, whether because of last year or the preseason hit. This is why the injury reporting process in the NFL needs to be revamped... Belichick is not being honest about Brady it appears. -

They have been gutted, and are getting older. It comes to no surprise to me that it will inevitably collapse, so now let's see how brilliant Belichick is...!! -
1999, but hey, we also didn't have a tough division back then either. Polian got himself fired. Giving up sacks and being his injury-prone, overrated self as usual. Trent Edwards missed a game this year? I missed that one.... please. Have you seen how competitive our division is as well as the AFC? The AFC is just superior these days.... Better than Mangini is like saying he's better than a piece of rotten wood, so yes. Who said Jauron will be around next year and we DON'T sign Cowher or Shanahan? That was a lot of cash to eat by firing Jauron. OWENS is miles better than PETERS... get off of your Peters fetish and realize that Ralph will spend the money to win, bu he won't do it by having a free agent party like many teams do just to appease fans like you. The NFL doesn't work that way! Roethlisberger, Ward, Holmes, Mendenhall, Parker, Miller, etc. are ALL HOMEGROWN, and not big free agents. That says a lot. THAT is what it takes to win.
-
1. It is RUNYAN. 2. If he was so good at this point, he'd be on another team by now, same with Marvin Harrison and the other Pro-Bowl free agents that have met their end. Let it go- we did the right thing in this case; and blaming Ralph is just over the top.
