  1. ESPN mentioned Rex wants to be a Cowboy.
  2. Give the Inner Circle a little credit. It looks early on that there moving in the right direction. Critisize if you need to after the draft.
  3. too old, too slow, probably at a high cost - we can do much better
  4. This is also a very good draft site http://dcprosportsreport.com/mockdraftdatabase/nfl.html
  5. If we signed Freddie Taylor I'd be leaning towards trading him. I'm not saying for whom or for what draft pick (that's another story). It would be a hard thing to do but I believe over time it would be for the best. I really like the kid - but !!!
  6. He must be a good guy, I mean he does pass out turkeys. Come to think of it so did Frank Lucas... HAHAHAHA I love this stuff.
  7. Do we really need an edge rusher like Maybin/Orakpo/Brown - or would Tyson Jackson be a better fit. I think all can excel. Understand, I'm not saying we don't need more sacks, but could someone like Tyson collapse the pocket, create pressure and also be a stud against the run ? Put a LB in back of Tyson with good rushing skills. Your thoughts please.
  8. Pettigrew by far is still the best overall TE in the draft. All these numbers are good up to a point. The 40 times for a TE are overrated. Do corner backs cover tight ends ? As an example if your a LB or a SS that runs a 4.62 40 and Pettigrew runs a 4.87 and off the line Pettigrew applies a good move he could be 10-20 yards in the clear. So much for being .25 of a second faster - it's way over rated. I wanna draft a football player not a gymnast.
  9. The more everyone argues with Poland the bigger his hardXon gets. Ignore him and hopefuly he'll go away.
  10. The fear is not that any of the coaches could mess it up, it's that Albert will mess it up with another transgression or possibly not being motivated after becoming the highest paid defensive player in the NFL. That's the risk. ------------------------------------------------------ when your born nasty you stay nasty
  11. Comments from the senior bowl mentioned that cushing is a 3 down LB and that Rey couldnt cover his shadow.
  12. There are an awful lot of qualities and variables that NFL college scouts have to consider when weighing the potential success a prospect can have once he reaches the pro level. Naturally there are the measurables as well as football skills and the intangible qualities like motivation, work ethic and leadership. But there can also be another factor that at times can be hard for a scout to keep out of the equation. That factor is draft history. A perfect example in this year’s class is Florida State DE/OLB Everette Brown. Widely considered a top 10 pick, Brown has impressive stats with 13.5 sacks and 21.5 tackles for loss last season alone. But there is a history of Seminole pass rushers that’s difficult to ignore. Cleveland took Kamerion Wimbley in 2006 with the 13th pick and his career to this point has been average at best. Andre Wadsworth was the third pick in the draft in 1998 by Arizona and injuries and difficulty adjusting to the pro game led to a disappointing career. Jamal Reynolds was the 10th pick in the draft in 2001 by Green Bay and was an unquestioned bust. So as enticing as Brown’s abilities might be for a team in need of pass rush help, it’s hard to overlook Florida State’s recent history at the position. “It does enter your thinking,” said Bills Vice President of College Scouting Tom Modrak speaking generally. “Whether you want to admit that or not, you do think about it. Now what you do with it is another matter.”

  14. Jeremy Maclin - University of Missouri - MIZZOU Height / Weight: 6-1 / 200 2008 STATS RECEPTIONS - YARDS - TOUCHDOWNS 102 1,260 13 CAREER STATS RECEPTIONS - YDS -TOUCHDOWNS 182 2,315 22
  15. The Bills really, really, for real need a top notch WR opposite Lee Evans in my opinion. This would do a few things right away. 1. Take all the double and triple coverage off Lee. 2. Help Derek Fine who I think will be a very good TE (like Clark-Cooley). 3. Allow us to take care of 2 positions WR - TE. 4. Allow us than to concentrate on DE/DL/LB help. So with the Bills 1st round pick the 11th overall in the 2009 NFL Draft the Bills select Jeremy Maclin - University of Missouri - MIZZOU Height / Weight: 6-1 / 200 2008 STATS RECEPTIONS - YARDS - TOUCHDOWNS 102 1,260 13 CAREER STATS RECEPTIONS - YDS -TOUCHDOWNS 182 2,315 22 I totally understand we need help at DE/DL/LB but can we pass him up ?

  17. Reports from the Senior Bowl said he could't cover his own shadow in pass defense.
  18. i like this qb Ryan Fitzpatrick UFA Cincinnati Bengals Free Agent
  19. the first time he jumps like that - the first time - he can kiss his family jewels good by.
  20. thebandit27 Look, I don't mean to say that Johnson can't eventually be good, but the dude had 11 catches in 10 games as a rookie...what did I miss that's so promising about that? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- he was used and thrown to very little. if given the chance as a true starter i also believe he can have a dynamite year. throw him the darn ball !!!
