  1. He did have surgery but from everything I've read is expected to recover perfectly...As for the heartbeat thing, that's totally up in the air...I mean, he is 3rd in the U's history in games played behind Ed Reed and I forget who else...starting every game during his tenure at the U until he got injured at the very end. I don't know much about that hearbeat condition but apparently it didn't affect him at all in his prior years..we'll see. Anyway, I have him in the 3rd round assuming his medical condition is cleared by doctors..which hopefully it will. to me, he's one of the more consistent OT in this draft and I think he'd be much more of a sure thing at LT in the NFL than Davis for Rutgers for example.
  2. First of all, lets get some things straight. "A number of teams..." does NOT equate to "most" teams. A number of teams could be 3. Most teams would be more like 20-25. Second of all, nobody really knows where players stand on teams' draft boards.
  3. Ya, he's had injury issues, but he's still young. IMO, RT isn't a need on this team other than depth...if that.
  4. No way Davis goes in the top 5. That would be simply criminal. Having watched Davis in every single game he's ever played in college, he's a mid to lower half 1st round pick. (IMO)
  5. When Butler played at RT, I thought he was very very solid. I think he is the answer at RT..just a matter of staying healthy.
  6. I wouldn't trade up for either QB (Bradford). There's only one player I would consider trading up for, and that would be Suh..but only if he fell to about 5 or 6...which won't happen.
  7. For Clausen? No.
  8. Great post Astro. I'm huge on Fox..and think he's extremely underrated, which is surprising considering he's coming out of Miami. Not a flashy player with the raw talent of a Davis, but Fox at least plays to his potential and doesn't underachieve. Also, I'm kind of big on Calloway Veldeheer and Saffold as SOLID OT options in the 3rd round, in addition to Fox. I almost like all of them more than the likes of Charles Brown or Trent Williams
  9. lol...i must admit that you two have been quite entertaining on this thread.
  10. Darth, I agree with you 100%. I'm a rutgers alum and had a chance to watch all of davis' games and I've said on here before that as much as I like Davis and want him to succeed in the NFL, I think his ideal position in the NFL is going to be at Guard. Davis imo isn't worth a 9.
  11. To me, Lee Evans can still be a part of the rebuilding process. He's still in the very prime of his career and we really still do need some playmakers on this offense. I'd be more willing to trade him if we had a young player in the wings to take over, but Reed will most likely be gone after this year, Owens won't be coming back, and if we trade Evans, that's just ANOTHER hole for us to fill. Even with Evans, we still need another WR.
  12. All kidding aside, the dolphins were 1-15 and the following year went 11-5 and won the division..the key in that turnaround was clearly acquiring Chad Pennington. This is simply a win-now league, and there's no debating that. Now, for the bills, we're not as bad as that 1-15 Dolphins team, and McNabb is MUCH better than Chad Pennington. I strongly disagree with anyone/everyone who says that getting McNabb for the next few years would be a waste of our time...especially if he can be obtained for a 2nd rd. pick, or swapping first rounders with the eagles.
  13. McNabb = "perfume on a pig" now? At least it's better than the wretched sh*t we've had in this franchise for the past 15yrs. I'll take it.
  14. No, it's just Billsfan and his genius input. Ya, Billsfan..lets bring in a 40 year old QB to start for us. That's a great way to be competitive. Why not extend an invitiation to Jim Kelly to put some pads on and come out of retirement? That wouldn't cost us anything either.
  15. You really are a freaking tool aren't you. Alongside as in they both play in the secondary douchebag. Holy jesus you're dense.
  16. I completely agree man. McKelvin was turning into a dynamic player for us both defensively and on special teams. I'm REALLY looking forwart to seeing him back in our secondary alongside Byrd!
  17. I know McShay probably loved tearing into the Bills, but his point about McKelvin is misleading. He makes it seem as if Leodis wasn't the starter b/c of performance when he was really just injured. Before the injury McKelvin was emerging as an explosive ST player and his defense was definitely solid. I expect McKelvin to have a great year this year.
  18. Who's talking about the ACC? Please spare me on the heralded careers of Frye, Batch, Gradkowski, Nate Davis, and Leftwich. And again, you're reacting as if said it was a major factor. It's just a consideration, much like anything else about a player. No reason to go insane over it dude. Talk about an inferiority complex...
  19. Out of those QBs you listed, one has had a great career so far (Ben), and two others have had solid careers (Culpepper/Chad)..the rest are pretty much garbage. To be fair however, the Big 12 is NOTORIOUS for not producing good NFL QBs.
  20. this would be a dream. i'd prefer him over wilfork
