  1. i was more impressed by the Miami QB than I was by Te'o. No thanks. Jarvis Jones gives you game-changing ability. Bjoern Werner gives you game-changing ability. Dion Jordan gives you game-changing ability. Te'o gives you a fake G/F.
  2. i wonder if you or I were a part of Reverend Lewis' party that night if we would've had the ability to avoid murder charges. probably not. Garland said Lewis' only crime was to tell his companions after the brawl that led to the deaths, "Keep your mouth shut," and giving an incomplete statement to police. "He fully acknowledges his responsibility for those acts," Garland told Bonner after the plea was entered. Lewis' defense attorneys admit that the NFL star gave a misleading statement to police on the morning after the killings, but there has been other testimony that suggests Lewis participated in some kind of cover-up: Duane Fassett, the driver of Lewis' rented limousine, reluctantly admitted on the stand that after the brawl Lewis told everyone in the stretch Lincoln Navigator to "just keep your mouth shut and don't say nothing." Evelyn Sparks, who was riding in the limousine, said she saw another passenger dump a white hotel laundry bag into a garbage bin outside a fast food restaurant. Prosecutors say the bag contained Lewis' bloodstained white suit, which has never been found. Sparks also said a photograph of Lewis' entourage, taken at the Cobalt Lounge on the night of the killings, was destroyed by Jessica Robertson, a woman described as Lewis' girlfriend. "She said she burned it," Sparks testified. It's funny how someone who was so "innocent" would go to such lengths to lie to police but yet when his balls are under the hammer, he'll just testify against his friends. I know that if I HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH A MURDER, i wouldn't go throw my suit away, and tell everyone to not say anything. I'd be the first one calling the police and telling them exactly how it went down as opposed to lying to the police.
  3. We're not all suspect of murder, that's for sure.
  4. they didn't have enough evidence for OJ Simpson either. ya i saw that. clearly god was telling him to do that. "get naked Ray. Thou command you"
  5. i hate when people whip out the "you never played the game" card. i'm sure you played in the NFL. there are over 1,000 other NFL players in the league - and none of them pull the crap that this MURDERER does. He's a clown, a fake, a murderer.
  6. In an ideal world, I would want to take the best defensive talent available at #8 and then trade back up to the late 1st round and take Nassib there. The problem you have there is that you may not find a partner to trade up with. I just can't justify taking Nassib at #8. Without a doubt.
  7. lets also not forget - being gay in a CATHOLIC university. lol
  8. ya, i hear ya. but it looks worse when you're in the public eye, and when it involves a death. sorry, correction, i mean "death"
  9. ya, same here. i could maybe see a woman and that Tuaalalalaualapaoapooppo character working together in this elaborate scheme. I don't know, even if Te'o was "innocent" in this case though, he's still guilty of exaggerating their relationship. That exaggeration during the football season turned a great player into a mythical player, creating a hype machine for ND and a potential Heisman.
  10. No saint - online relationships exist. But eventually, after 3 years, people meet. Heck, what about skype, face time, etc? You're telling me they never skyped? Also, its not that I don't accept that online relationships exist, but your asking me to accept that manti te'o for all this time, rather than dating a real physical girl, would lock himself in his room and fall asleep talking to a girl he never met for 8 hours!??? C'mon MAN!! He's the starting LB for ND, heisman candidate, all-everything, and this guy doesn't date a girl he can actually touch but instead just talks on the phone for X amount of years?? Logic man. Logic faulters here
  11. how the F can he claim to be "hoaxed" when he spent "hours" talking to her on the phone? W T F. i'm pissing my pants.
  12. LMAO!!!!....UN!@#$INGREAL. lmmmmmmffffaaaaaaooo this is great guys. i want this guy roasted and toasted.
  13. No words. None. Wow. Wow. Wow. Maybe he can go on Oprah now too?
  14. I don't think Ogletree will go anywhere near the top 10. Probably towards the end of the 1st/beginning of the 2nd. He's still a bit of a project.
  15. i'd rather stay away from Te'o. there are other LB's who offer much more explosion and game-changing ability. Te'o could be a solid starter in the NFL, but i don't see him being a game-changer/Pro-Bowl LB. i'd be more comfortable with Te'o if we were drafting like 20.
  16. Flynn lost out to a rookie QB..ya, wilson played great, but flynn still lost out to him from day 1. Maybe trade a 4th rounder for him but would still need to draft a QB in round 2 or 1.
  17. keep 1, 2, 4, 5, 9, 14 and the rest can go imo.
  18. the guy was an insane player, if he kept his nose clean and continued his pace i'm sure he probably would've been drafted in the top 10 (closer to the 10 than to the 1). his issues, however, cannot be ignored. he's the next pacman jones probably. lol. i agree. #3 is nuts for a 5'8 corner who doesn't even weigh 180lbs. Revis was taken 11 i think - that's probably around where this clown would've been drafted if he had half a brain.
  19. the guy got kicked off the team and then instead of getting his **** together, he has another incident in the fall involving MJ. the guy's a cancer. forget him. think of how many starting-caliber offensive linemen can be drafted in rounds 3-5 intead of this loser.
  20. I hear ya. Rip on me all you want (ryan), but I'd prefer the following combo: QB from the draft/Fitz over Smith/QB from this year's draft. Let Fitz compete with the drafted rookie and let the best man start the season next year. If Fitz gets the nod and we're under .500 after 5 games or so, switch to the rookie if he's ready. If the rookie looks impressive prior to the season, start the rookie. It'll be a lot easier to switch from Fitz to a rookie QB b/c Fitz has already been here. This is assuming Fitz is willing to restructure his contract a bit..
  21. i'm all for drafting a QB. Fitz is what he is, we've all seen that for 3 years now. Bring in Alex Smith and we have what, another 3-4 years to see that he's not the answer either? No thanks. Plus, why would Alex Smith want to come to Buffalo where the situation will probably the same as it was in SF when we draft a QB this year. I just don't see it at all. At least with Fitz, if he restructures his contract, I can see him being a backup and not rocking the boat in the long-term. I don't see Alex Smith quietly taking a backseat again.
