  1. i'm talking about their tenure in Buffalo and not their careers outside of buffalo. obviously you simply can't have a discussion with respect to Fitz aside from saying "fitz sucks" - we get the point. he threw for 23td's and +3600 yds?
  2. Drew Bledsoe had a really good season with Dallas after he left B-lo. All I'm saying is that many here would say that our last great/good QB was Bledsoe (regardless of what his prime was), and all i'm saying is that statistically, it can be argued that Fitz has been better.
  3. Bledsoe also had Eric Moulds, Josh Reed, and Peerless Price, all probably better than any single WR we currently have. Travis Henry wasn't too shabby either...
  4. i'm just trying to argue against the extreme point of view that so many posters on this board have that "fitz is the worst QB in the NFL"; "he's an NFL backup"; "he's absolute garbage"; "what would our WR be with a real QB". Drew Bledsoe was a real QB, and Fitz's numbers are definitely better across the board in every single category except for INT's.
  5. Fitz, 6.76 yds/attempt Bledsoe: 6.58 yds/attempt
  6. lol, man come on. Ya I like Fitz, but I do realize we need to draft a QB and we could use an upgrade. However, if you look at the stats between Bledsoe and Fitz, you can have an argument that statistically speaking, Fitz has been a BETTER QB.
  7. Bledsoe: 2002: 16 games, 61.5%, 4,359yds, 24td, 15int, 86.0 rating 2003: 16 games, 58.2%, 2,860yds, 11td, 12int, 73.0 rating 2004: 16 games, 56.9%, 2,932yds, 20td, 16int, 76.6 rating Fitz (as the primary starter): 2010: 13 games, 57.8%, 3000yds, 23td, 15int, 81.8 rating 2011: 16 games, 62.0%, 3,832yds, 24td, 23int, 79.1 rating 2012: 16 games, 60.6%, 3,400yds, 24td, 16int, 83.3 rating Overall, Fitz has a higher Completion %, 16 more TD's, and a higher QB rating (i couldn't find QBR for bledsoe as I don't think they had that stat back then) in fewer games. Fitz does have 11 more INT's in 3 fewer games. I know time distorts things, but has Fitz been a better QB for us than Bledsoe was? Discuss...
  8. can't disagree. i see at least 2 going in the top 10.
  9. Who cares where these guys were drafted? I do. It means that we've been ignoring the position for the past 5-8 years. You can only find so many Stevie Johnson's and Marques Colston's before you have to address the position. Stevie is unable to outrun a DB when he has a 5yd lead on him. Martin, Jones, Smith are GARBAGE at WR. Not even average - GARBAGE. I'm not ignoring Fitz's limitations, but you deny the fact that Fitz has been able to get Stevie - a nobody before Fitz became starter - 3 consecutive 1,000yd seasons. It's just in response to your "real QB" comment.
  10. Stevie Johnson pre-Fitzpatrick: 2 season, 16 games, 12 receptions, 112yds, 2TDs Scott Chandler pre-Fitzpatrick: 3 seasons, 10 games, 0 receptions, 0 yds, 0TDs With all due respect to your opinion and other people's constant jabs on Fitzpatrick, we have nothing but 7th round draft picks, and practice squad fodder as WR and TE's on this team. (we'll see what Graham turns into) Bills WR: Nelson - undrafted SJ - 7th round Graham - 3rd round Brad Smith - no comment R. Martin - undrafted Donald Jones - undrafted In other words, we have GARBAGE at WR. Fitz keeps getting all the blame though. While Nelson and Stevie have been able to produce on the field we don't have elite talent at that position.
  11. i was more impressed by the Miami QB than I was by Te'o. No thanks. Jarvis Jones gives you game-changing ability. Bjoern Werner gives you game-changing ability. Dion Jordan gives you game-changing ability. Te'o gives you a fake G/F.
  12. i wonder if you or I were a part of Reverend Lewis' party that night if we would've had the ability to avoid murder charges. probably not. Garland said Lewis' only crime was to tell his companions after the brawl that led to the deaths, "Keep your mouth shut," and giving an incomplete statement to police. "He fully acknowledges his responsibility for those acts," Garland told Bonner after the plea was entered. Lewis' defense attorneys admit that the NFL star gave a misleading statement to police on the morning after the killings, but there has been other testimony that suggests Lewis participated in some kind of cover-up: Duane Fassett, the driver of Lewis' rented limousine, reluctantly admitted on the stand that after the brawl Lewis told everyone in the stretch Lincoln Navigator to "just keep your mouth shut and don't say nothing." Evelyn Sparks, who was riding in the limousine, said she saw another passenger dump a white hotel laundry bag into a garbage bin outside a fast food restaurant. Prosecutors say the bag contained Lewis' bloodstained white suit, which has never been found. Sparks also said a photograph of Lewis' entourage, taken at the Cobalt Lounge on the night of the killings, was destroyed by Jessica Robertson, a woman described as Lewis' girlfriend. "She said she burned it," Sparks testified. It's funny how someone who was so "innocent" would go to such lengths to lie to police but yet when his balls are under the hammer, he'll just testify against his friends. I know that if I HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH A MURDER, i wouldn't go throw my suit away, and tell everyone to not say anything. I'd be the first one calling the police and telling them exactly how it went down as opposed to lying to the police.
  13. We're not all suspect of murder, that's for sure.
  14. they didn't have enough evidence for OJ Simpson either. ya i saw that. clearly god was telling him to do that. "get naked Ray. Thou command you"
  15. i hate when people whip out the "you never played the game" card. i'm sure you played in the NFL. there are over 1,000 other NFL players in the league - and none of them pull the crap that this MURDERER does. He's a clown, a fake, a murderer.
  16. In an ideal world, I would want to take the best defensive talent available at #8 and then trade back up to the late 1st round and take Nassib there. The problem you have there is that you may not find a partner to trade up with. I just can't justify taking Nassib at #8. Without a doubt.
  17. lets also not forget - being gay in a CATHOLIC university. lol
  18. ya, i hear ya. but it looks worse when you're in the public eye, and when it involves a death. sorry, correction, i mean "death"
  19. ya, same here. i could maybe see a woman and that Tuaalalalaualapaoapooppo character working together in this elaborate scheme. I don't know, even if Te'o was "innocent" in this case though, he's still guilty of exaggerating their relationship. That exaggeration during the football season turned a great player into a mythical player, creating a hype machine for ND and a potential Heisman.
  20. No saint - online relationships exist. But eventually, after 3 years, people meet. Heck, what about skype, face time, etc? You're telling me they never skyped? Also, its not that I don't accept that online relationships exist, but your asking me to accept that manti te'o for all this time, rather than dating a real physical girl, would lock himself in his room and fall asleep talking to a girl he never met for 8 hours!??? C'mon MAN!! He's the starting LB for ND, heisman candidate, all-everything, and this guy doesn't date a girl he can actually touch but instead just talks on the phone for X amount of years?? Logic man. Logic faulters here
  21. how the F can he claim to be "hoaxed" when he spent "hours" talking to her on the phone? W T F. i'm pissing my pants.
  22. LMAO!!!!....UN!@#$INGREAL. lmmmmmmffffaaaaaaooo this is great guys. i want this guy roasted and toasted.
