  1. Me too. I'm curious why the Bills didn't jump into the Leonard Williams deal considering the teams connection to the current Giants GM/HC combo. That move could have put us back on track for this season.
  2. Our open southern border is an emergency. But apparently not on the administration's priority list.
  3. Personally, I have no objections to helping Ukraine. What I object to is the funding model. Its not like the US government has $100's of billions collecting dust in various savings accounts. Quite the contrary. Congress must pass legislation authorizing the aid. The President signs the bill and along with that the Treasury is authorized to issue notes and bills for the $100 billion. Proceeds from the sale are sent to the Treasury and the aid is provided. Then the US taxpayer assumes responsibility for making the principal and interest payments on the debt and the national debt is incremented an additional $100 billion. I expect if there was a requirement that the aid was contingent on a tax increase of $100 billion of both personal and business taxes there would be a lot less enthusiasm for the idea both from politicians that would be run out of office for increasing taxes and the public in general. But the method of borrowing and spending "hides" the debt and the consequences by placing them in the future for somebody else to figure out how to pay it back and deal with the problem.
  4. Giants traded DL Leonard Williams to Seahawks for a 2024 2nd and a 2025 5th with the GIants retaining salary. Why with connections to the Giants GM and HC could the Bills not swing something comparable?
  5. I'd argue the existence or absence of a "uni-party is a distinction without a difference. As leadership of both parties support constant warfare there's little to no fundamental difference between them with regard to that activity. Whether that's done through some singular body or through some meeting of the minds isn't important. I'm not sure but I'm inclined to believe the US has been directly or indirectly involved in some war of some kind, somewhere since let's say 1950.
  6. I'm just waiting and alert for the time when all the Jihadists among the millions of illegals that Biden's extended the hospitality of the US taxpayers to and let cross the border from Mexico without proper vetting or concern for Americans get the signal from Tehran to unleash mayhem and carnage so you idiots can blame Trump for that too. Then you're imaginary obsession about a some relationship between Putin and Trump won't seem so important and maybe reality will creep back into the thinking of your cult as a lot of them get planted by the terrorists and their safe places turn out to be not so safe. Welcome back to reality idiots.
  7. I'm just LMAO off at you idiots as a demented old fool doing the bidding of China while being blackmailed by Ukraine sits in the White House residing over a world going down in flames. And you guys are like, "hey everything's great" except for what Trump's up to. Fools.
  8. Just make sure to keep an ample number of extra boxes of mail-in ballots off-site to ship to the polling locations after midnight of election day in the event the vote count falls short to win the key contested States in 2024 and the Democrats should be okay. Lick this...
  9. The Monday morning paranoid about Putin topic is open for business! Wild speculation, unsupported conclusions, and faulty logic are essential.
  10. Can this secondary cover Chase, Boyd, and Higgins? Only if Bills generate an effective pass rush. But otherwise maybe if they pick up a couple all-pro corners at the trade deadline.
  11. Barkley also made the mistake of giving himself up on a previous play in that drive where if he just continued forward might have got a first down to end it. Gano missed a previous attempt. But otherwise I thought Daboll's biggest mistake was the same thing McDermott did in week one. Take the ball first in OT. Right there I said to myself Jets will win. Kick off into EZ. Predictable. Jets defense holds Goants to a 3 and out. Predictable. Punt from the 25. Predictable. And that was it. Most llikely. Rarely would a team not take the ball to start OT but if your offense has a 3rd string QB with negative net passing yards for the game it might make sense.
  12. Because these leftist groups have no specific and firm principals or positions. They shift from side to side on issue to issue in order to take the position they believe will enhance and further the objectives of their group. They don't really care about anyone else but willingly use the opportunity to get involved in the cause of others to further their self-interests. So Hamas would gleefully kill every LGBTQ+ person they could get their hands on? No problem. Support for the oppressed in the play here that gets the most juice.
  13. In practice, it might be best not to classifying friends, family, or acquaintances in terms of the sexual orientation or self-identification while treating them all the same. How progressive would that be? The problem with the progressive mind-set is there's a requirement to classify everyone into a group based on their appearance or some "key" trait. And once they're classified, assign various traits and characteristics the dogma associates with that group to that individual. Whether they might apply or not, making lots of assumptions about the person. It's the premier form of judging a book by its cover. We used to call it racism and bigotry but now it's a fashionable, acceptable and required exercise thanks to DEI.
  14. I don't follow Cincinnati close enough to understand all the details but Burrow has been less than 100% most of the season and that's had a big impact. And if he took some things for granted in prepping for the season and had some in-game issues those were mistakes. But we need to ask, do we think Zac Taylor is going to repeat the same mistakes again for the remainder of the season and again next year? Or is he going to accept that he did some things incorrectly and then adjust his planning and execution accordingly? That failure to make a change in thinking and approach after acknowledging some failure is a major gripe of his detractors and is something Sean doesn't do enough of as HC.
  15. Yet another reason to toot the "pride" horn and throw a parade while breaking out in celebration.
  16. A specific example of coaching. I have no idea what they're coaching the DB's to do. They almost never play the ball, which is a techique where PI and holding are rarely called and instead use the screening technique of playing the receiver which can result in a lot of penalties when jumping betwen the receiver and the ball. I mean turn and look. Watch other teams with similar athletes playing better technique. One more thing. Bad coaching. There's no doubt Elam was a good cover guy in college and they broke him. Good coaches adjust their system to the players they have, not the other way around and maybe the 15 year old Carolina defense is expired? Invent something of your own Sean for the game in 2023.
  17. Sounds wonderful. But if you talk to those "Trumpers" they think they're the people fighting to maintain freedom and democracy. Yet, people on the "left" believe that's their domain. So, there's a disconnect somewhere. My view is neither the people on the left or the right are threats to democracy. What concerns me is why many fail to see the dangers of an overreaching Federal government with a Surveillance State and politicized law enforcement and justice system, free to use excessive power and abilities of its agencies, with simply no accountability to the American people, Congress, and perhaps even the Presidency. For me, this is the threat. The disparity between what's important to the government and what's important to the American public is huge. And if they're not working for us, who are they working for?.
  18. Today' liberal us a confused creature. They consider anyone questioning or opposing the power of the State and its monopoly on violence to be a terrorist or an extremist. When they watch a movie like V for Vendetta I can only imagine they're all on the edge of their seats rooting for the government.
  19. As with all these bills, does anyone ever stop and ask where is the money coming from?
  20. Advocating and embracing the practice of allowing biological men to masquerade (if you prefer, "identify) as women which results in disadvantaging biological women in many areas including competitive sports is "war on women". That's totally a liberal thing.
  21. More troubling is that as a result of past failures, bloopers and blunders, this team has created an expectation that the opposition, even with only 21 seconds and no time outs from their own 25 that average teams like the Bucs along with the Bills passive defensive coverage would make it interesting at the end.
  22. Also more importantly a DT or CB.
  23. I don't think you can have a dual identity, aggressive or timid, and situationally just turn it on and off and be successful. You pick one and live or die by it and the scared approach is usually fatal.
  24. The problem is the refs didn't call it and if Goodwwin catches the ball we lose. This playing scared isn't going to work against teams like the Eagles and Chiefs. We're not going to the SB so there's no reason not to play more aggressive football but Sean's addicted to safety and caution which fuels a lack of confidence.
  25. No. Three straight incompletes then a timeout to give their offense time to call the play and settle down Who could have know that would backfire? Everybody right after Sean called it. Simply incredibly stupid
