I assume the DNC is going to have to coerce Joe Biden to drop out of the 2024 Presidential race citing the mental and physical toll of the office is just too much at this point. Absent that the optics of involuntarily removing the candidate with the delegate majority going into the convention might be too much drama. Having Joe step down will also avoid the requirement to explain why everyone in the White House, the media, and the party have been lying about Joe's condition for about 1 1/2 year. Many of us saw it then and we're told either we weren't doctors or we're engaging in conspiracy. So it obviously they were hiding it and lying about it. So what else are they hiding and lying about? Well the border, the economy, foreign affairs, the war in Ukraine, inflation, crime, etc.

It is a mess and I'd like to hear the perspective of posters that have insisted to this point in time that Biden is "as sharp as a tack" to understand if they're sticking to their position or if they've modified their conclusions based on last night's performance.

By holding a Presidential debate under the unusual circumstances that neither party's convention has nominated their candidate through any formal vote of delegates, do you think its an intentional act by DNC strategists to "set up" Joe Biden to fail here in order to create the necessary urgency to replace him on the ballot before the convention rather than ride Joe to the finish line and take the "L"?

This is true. What's changed is their puppet President is no longer able to fake it. The question everyone should be asking this morning after Biden's obvious mental decline was on display for all to see isn't who won the debate but rather who's been running the country and making decisions assigned to the President by the Constitution for the last 3 years? Hint: Its the Obama crew. This situation is what's know in many places as a palace coup. Its blatantly undemocratic to have a person playing President in the shadows replacing the person everyone is alleged to have voted for in 2020. So what's the deal with all the officials and representatives that know this is the game but go along, participate, or pretend to know nothing?

The Dems theme remains if you can't beat 'em then cheat 'em. As for this they still have an Ace in the hole to play because Trump needs to appear before Judge Juan on July 11th for sentencing. Don't be at all surprised if they sentence Trump to jail time in order to take him off the campaign trail and incite his faithful to partake in acts of civil disobedience which the regime will surely pounce on to arrest and jail more "MAGA extremists" and get some mileage out of their threat to democracy chant.

Either Don's a moron for accepting the terms of the debate or he's prepared to provide us something entirely surprising. Which for me would be a name-calling free, coherent, fact based, and detailed argument about why Biden's term has been a complete disaster for the country. Which it truly has been.

I find this Marxism thing to be very undemocratic. But the posters here that claim to be concerned with democracy, i.e. against Trump, don't seem to have issues with it all. I can't think of a single example of a society that turned socialist or communist that became more free or democratic under that "new" system. Quite the opposite. A ruse of the thing is the claim to have the interests of workers and the poor at heart. Marx himself wasn't a laborer but rather an intellectual and actually considered working for a living to support his family to be beneath his station. He lived off the kindness and charity of his benefactors. Communists and Socialists are also a real bummer to be around. They're in a constant state of anger and depression pointing out things like the oppression of the system and other topics that will clear the room at a party. They're dreary little creatures devoid any of any cheer or happiness. What's there to be happy about when the world is one big oppressive conspiracy. The little secret is what they're eager to do is take charge so they can be the oppressor. The goal is to make everyone else as miserable in life as them. The system is so great the dictators have to build walls and fortifications to keep people in. Or as they say to keep others out of the workers paradise. I expect if you opened up the border between North and South Korea almost every productive person in the north would leave. The system is based on forced obedience to lies. The truth is a crime. What a great place to live! If you love democracy and freedom you can't be thinking clearly and logically and support Joe Biden and his loser administration. And thinking Trump is going to become a dictator by some magical decree if he's elected makes you a mind blowing imbecile that will pretty much fall for any crap these people feed to you. When evaluating net worth/income numbers nominal dollar figures are not as important as adjusted for inflation apples to apples purchasing power. Earlier in my working life I was able to purchase my first home, buy a new car, go on vacation, spent some on an active social life along with saving and investing a little too. Making about 1/4 my current nominal income. I doubt many of the current generation making 2 or 3 times as much in nominal dollars can do that today. Under Joe the standard of living for many has fallen. Are they better off today than 4 years ago? Doubtful.

I suggest the raid had two purposes. One, to secure some specific and as of yet undisclosed set classified documents the government didn't want "revealed". Some have suggested Trump scooted away with some Russian collusion hoax documents that painted the FBI and IC in less than flattering terms. Whether they recovered the only copy is unclear. Two, to create negative public opinion and perception of the targeted individual. Hence, the staged photos. The DOJ's got a little bit of Hollywood in their blood and in general the people running the operation know how to put on a good show.

Do those drugs, guns, and money have proprietary government classification markings? And did the cops add any extra drugs or guns to the stack to make it more dramatic? I think that would be embellishment.

My doctor doesn't claim to be a climate expert armed with a paltry 100 years or so of incomplete temperature data on a planet that's 4.5 billion years old peddling a simplistic cause/effect hypothesis of temperature variation insisting we take various actions without any evidence that any of them will do anything.

I drive down the street and see signs that say "Climate Action Now!" on front lawns. Of 4,000 sq ft natural gas heated homes with 2 zone AC, a built in pool with nat gas heat, and 3 big SUV's in the driveway. But you driving by reading my sign, you do something, now! It was hotter in the 1930's than it is today. And then it wasn't. How do these "experts" know the cycle won't flip into a cooling trend regardless of CO2 levels? They don't. But if you want them to say its going to get cooler just pay them enough and they'll say it. Just like they say its going to get hotter. You should take a look at Medicaid expenses. For most States its the highest budget line spending item. Part of it is because of rising medical costs. Other sources of increased cost are reliance on the program by more and more people with States easing eligibility requirements and fewer low income people covered by commercial plans. Some of it due to the nature of part-time work. The problem is commercial plans cover fewer and fewer people. For the major insurers more of their business is Medicare and Medicaid than it is commercial insurance coverage through private employers. Medicare pays 80% of covered expenses. This can leave a big chuck owed by a retiree. Medicare Advantage plans at extra premium cost can cover most of the 20%. As an example of commercial coverage a few years back my wife had a serious illness that required hospitalization for about 25 days, 12 of those in ICU. The total bill was about $650,000. (I should add the hospital made the "mistake" of submitted another $110K of what I considered fraudulent charges under "outpatient" services which the insurance rejected. I guess 650 wasn't enough for them!) I think I ended up paying about $14K out of pocket. If that was basic Medicare I would have owed the hospital $130K. Not many retiree's can afford that. Most doctors and big hospital systems make lots of money. They're not driving 15 year old cars or clipping coupons, their kids are going to expensive private schools and golf lessons at the country club. Neither party wants to tackle that Hornets nest of the AMA lobby.

What the commies want is citizens to lash out at the immigrants. Which will provide the justification to clamp down on "extremists". Create a crisis or an event is always in their plans. They're sneaky Mofo's. But rather it would be more effective to by one means or another eliminate the commie politicians and the elites funding their mayhem. Confiscate their money. Use their rules with means no rules. Voting them out would be a start. Already the left in Germany is attempting to "ban" the country's most popular political party, AfD. The populist Alternative for Germany for being an extremist group. Like a buddy of mine once said about the system, "if you can't beat 'em, cheat 'em".
