Do we bring in a qb coach/mentor?

I like this idea. I volunteer - that way, I can also be around his girl -
FAKE NEWS I'll see myself out.

Do we bring in a qb coach/mentor?

Fair point. Does anyone know how involved a WR coach like Culley is in working with QBs like McNabb and Smith? Honestly curious. I expect that all offensive coaches have a solid understanding of QB fundamentals, to some extent - but does a transition from WR coach to QB coach happen often? -

We have a QB coach in David Culley, who spent his career working with Andy Reid with the Eagles and Chiefs. He should do just fine. -
Did the Bills REALLY get their guy?

Beane and co spent a lot of time yesterday speaking directly with Allen following the reveal of those tweats. He was their guy from the beginning. They wouldn't have spent so much time double-checking and re-verifying everything if that wasn't the case. -
!@#$ yeah, pizza's here.

Rank the Bills Remaining Areas of Need.

Let's protect our shiny new toy. OL should be the highest priority right now. Then, once we can keep him upright, let's give him weapons. -
Until that happens, I'm going to root for our pics as hard as possible. I think we underestimate the impact that us as fans have on the development of a prospect. So while you may be positive both will be off the roster in 5 years, I believe that we've invested into the future leaders of our franchise. Our modern equivalent of Darryl Talley and Jim Kelly. Like I said, if my own positivity and belief can move the needle on their development even a single millimeter, why shouldn't I do what I can to help? Who hurt you?

I'm already sick and tired of reading all the negative posts and reactions on this board. Josh Allen is a young kid. If you were a young kid, drafted with all the expectations of a rabid community on your shoulders, how do you think you'd feel if you read this board and found out that half or this community hates you and expects you to fail? You'd probably be disheartened by the lack of love and faith. You might even be less motivated to achieve your potential. Is this what you all want? Is validating your opinion more important than the future of this franchise? I'm tired of it. This kid is our future - let's invest in him. Let's do our part. I want him to feel motivated by hearing about all the positivity that's coming out of the community. If he ever comes to this board, I want him to feel the Buffa-LOVE. So Josh Allen, if you're reading this, I want you to know that we've got your back. I have faith. And I Bill-ieve.

Is there a precedent for developing a low-percentage QB?
Mr. ChumChums replied to finn's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You guys are all a bunch of negative nancies. Saying that we’ve signed ourselves to a bust of a QB is shortsighted. Sure, I have my concerns, but what the hell do I know (and for that matter, what the hell makes all of you experts)? Here are the simple facts: 1) we got one of the consensus top 4 QBs, and all we gave up to move up were 2 2nds, when half this board wanted to sell the farm 2) we got the QB with the highest ceiling of ALL the qbs in the draft - his potential was so high that he was in the conversation to be number 1 overall 3) we got a game changing linebacker prospect to lead our defense Seriously, chill the f*ck out people. Let’s ENJOY the fact that we got a great prospect, and look forward to watching him on the field and prove the experts wrong. And if he crashes and burns, THEN you have free reign to complain again. He very well may prove us all wrong. -
RD1, Pick 7: Josh Allen QB - Wyoming
Mr. ChumChums replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's the price of entry for a QB - the Jet's paid 3 2nd round pics to move from 6 to 3, overpaying by ~50%. It's fine that we overpaid - I think it's more important that we got to keep our other 1st round pick, and get another game-changing talent. -

He'll be fine. AJ will be the one taking the pounding this year, while we let Allen develop.
