Don't think its Delusional Raiders all trying to ditch Palmer. They prolly will take Geno. Same can be said about the Jags. They have Henne and Gilbert, they both suck. So it might happen.

Bills officially sign QB Kevin Kolb
Bufcomments replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This also frees us up to drafting a guy who can make Stevie happy. C. Patterson. This guy has talent a can take a short pass and take it to the house on any play. I could see an opening day roster on offense that looks like this. Remember we are running an up- tempo (almost like K-Gun) offense WR Stevie , Patterson,B. Smith TE Chandler RB Spiller QB Kolb LT Glenn LG Snow C Wood RG Urbik RT Harrison There is firepower on the field with Spiller, Stevie, Patterson, and I will toss in a healthy Fred Jackson. Maybe Kolb is or isnt. Maybe T. Jackson will surprise us. But you can score points with this amount of talent we have. The Defense is where the real problem of this team lies. -
Could happen but I think the Cards have a good player in Drew Stanton. Or if anything the Cards will take Barkley .That would mean one of the top lineman fail to us. And I would rather take a lineman at 8 and wait until the second and take Nassib, Scott or Wilson.

Been thinking the Bills may have helped their draft position by getting Kolb. Even thought he is not a huge upgrade over Fitz, he is an upgrade. So in the 8th spot, they can just pick the BPA, which is good because these things might happen.. 1. Bills think Geno Smith AND Matt Barkley will be off the board by the 8th pick. 2. If Geno is off the board one of the OT's or DT's Fall to us. Which is a better value at 8 anyway. 3. The QB they like the most will likely be there in the 2nd.

A word about Marcel Dareus and last year
Bufcomments replied to Kelly the Dog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I didn't know all that about Dareus. Even Half of what he has been through can break anybody down. Poor guy must feeling like everybody he becomes close to dies. I hope somebody on the Team or staff reaches out to him. I can understand how last year was a lost season. He did look out of shape last year. Hope he didnt do food for comfort diet. -
Bills officially sign QB Kevin Kolb
Bufcomments replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just a guess but by signing Kolb they might not think Geno will be there at 8. If that's how it goes down in the draft they are drafting BPA at 8 and seeing what's left in round 2 with the QB's. We shall see. -
Why would he leave RG3 anyway.? To play in B-low where there is no QB? He and his agent used the Bills to get Washington to sign him.

ESPN Insider : McShay latest 2 rd mock draft
Bufcomments replied to Dat Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You guys don't see it.... CJ in his 4th season is just about ready to be as good as O.J...yes I think he is that good. Why not draft a player who might best help him get there?? This is a two year plan guys, who thinks the Bills make the playoffs this year anyway? Draft Warmack, improve the run game and pass game protection wise. Draft Matt Scott in the second round, I think this kid is under than radar. Bucky Brooks on NFL.com compares him to Russell Wilson. Seriously we ought to consider him at 8. I think with him C.J. will break 2000. Well at least with him and Freddie combined. I'm saying I would not be mad if the draft him. -

Great read on this yrs QB's class
Bufcomments replied to Bufcomments's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You make a good point. Guess it does come down to what kinda of offence they are going to run. To me with Spiller and Freddie back healthy you would think that Marrone tailors the offence around these 2 guys and be a ground and pound team. The reason I say that is Because you want to keep Tom Brady off the field as much as possible. True Brady's window is closing. But he is still there. -
Look at it like this guys.... CJ Spiller is the best weapon the Bills have. Fred Jackson when healthy is a close second. Stevie is 3rd. IMO If your 2 best players on your team are RB's, why not draft a player that can make those players better?? It may not be the most sexy pick. But if what they say about Warmack is true then you got a Guard that can play 10 years at a high level. He is a once in a decade Guard. Don't the Bills need a LG? He fills a need and is a possible Pro-bowl guard on top of that?? I for one would have no problem at all if the Bills took Warmack. Being an ex-Olineman myself in college I know that it all starts up front. Warmack in the 1st QB's Nassib, Wilson, or Matt Scott in the 2nd round to me would be an excellent start to the draft.

I could live with C. Patterson in the first and Scott in the 2nd. That would be an excellent draft. Here is a thought I had today, people are forgetting all about Marcus Easley. We still don't know about him because he just hasn't been healthy enough to show what he can do. Thing about Patterson he is a one year wonder. Maybe a better idea would be to take Chance Warmack in the first to replace Levitre and taking Scott in the second round. CJ and Freddie would benefit from Warmack. And if you going to have a rookie QB or even T. Jackson starting you better be able to run the football. Before you guys flame me for that keep in mind I played O-line in college .... I always starts up front I say. -

If Smith can't read Defenses he is a high Bust risk. But having said that he might be more of a project QB than a day one starter. The more I read into Smith the more concerns I have about him. But what scares me even more is the Bills are in such bad shape at QB they might pull the trigger on him and hope they can coach him up. -

I don't think Barkely is the best QB either. My guess is he thinks since coming from a pro style offense he might be the most ready to play right away . -

if he is this years Russell Wilson I would take him in the second round. I think what buddy said is true, if he is rated a 3rd or 4th round you better take him in the 2nd round. I saw some vid on Matt Scott this morning and I like him more and more.... -

Yep, I think he didnt like the way the end of last year played out for W.V. Tape don't lie as they say. -
Call me old school but I don't think a gay player should be in the NFL. No straight guy would want to shower next to a guy if he is homosexual. It would be a circus. Don't think it would work. If somebody was gay and playing in the NFL he better keep it a secret. And if he was a Bill...well I just won't go there.

This is the best breakdown of this yrs QB class I have seen so far this spring. Read it and enjoy. http://www.eastcoast...B_Rankings.html I think you will be surprised on Geno Smith's ranking.
-
If Barkley doe not have a strong arm what use will he be in the Ralph after October?? I don't think the Bills will draft him just because of that reason. We don't need Fitz 2.0. JMO , I think its between Nassib, Geno, Scott ( who I like in the 2nd round) or Wilson.

Waiting for Round 2 worth the risk?
Bufcomments replied to 4merper4mer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's hard for the Bills to draft in the NFL. Fixed it for you, you may proceed to your next post. Take a QB at 8, the one you like the most and live with the decision . God I cant wait for the draft, Im tired of talking about it. -
It's on like a gay mofo? lol

This would be a great move. He could end up starting if Chandler is not ready for the opener.
