Edwards was playing with some confidence that game. to me he was never the same after the hit in AZ, except for that one game vs San diego at the Ralph. I had the same thought . Losman had some skills. It might have worked , but sadly we will never know.

In some ways I feel worse because now Buddy realizes he !@#$** up with Fitz giving him that contract. I would feel 100 percent better if Fitz is gone.

Did I say Fitz lost the game?? I believe I said Fitz had a chance to win the game at the end . He blew it. Forget the playcall. It was terrible. I bet Jim Kelly would have changed the play at the line. My point is why play Fitz if he can't get it done. He can get you 6-7 wins. You know where we will be picking in the draft next year. Prolly the same place 8-10. We are better off moving forward. I don't care about stats as some of you guys do. We want to win. And Fitz doesnt win enough.

In semi Fitz defense.... the coaching staff ( Gailey) put to much pressure on him week in and week out. CJ should have been the guy in the offense last yr, he was impossible to stop in the open field. Even fitz said himself we should get CJ the ball more... But Gailey thought Fitz was his Tom Brady for some strange reason. Fitz also only has Stevie to work with. So he was handicapped by the scheme and a true WR for Stevie to work off of. But Fitz had a chance to beat Brady at NE and blew it. I was done with him after that. Your best player is open and don't even give it too him last play. Fu%% the playcall, get the ball to your best guys. After 3 yrs and he's not getting better his time is up. Gotta get a new QB. Move on. Having him in camp is gonna be take reps away from the rookie QB ( hopefully). Let go do it get it done. Everybody in the NFL knows we need a QB, so what ...get one for once.

Think your right, he holds the cards thanks to Buddy quick trigger on that contract. I still think we should move on. Fitz had some good moments like that Oakland comeback a couple of yrs ago. But he cant finish games. Chan dumb ass even said it.

How can he play better?? Chan's system was designed just for Fitz, quick passes ,screens ,slants, down the seem passes. Rarely did the Bills throw it long because of Fitz. Plus on top of learning a new system, they asking him to take less money. To be honest if I were in Fitz's shoes I would force the Bills hand because right now we have nobody better. Wendsday will be interesting indeed.

You guys have some good comments to the thread. After reading all of them to me it comes down to this, either Fitz restructures his contract or I think they have to let him go.

We don't know if he better than Flynn.... I don't know how u can make this claim. Fitz will suck in any scheme because he is too inconsistent. Plus he cant make a play when it counts. Alot of fans will be pissed if he is the starter next yr. I think the Bills are aware of this.

man i hope your correct it would make my day, and give me more hope about the current coaching staff. this is what i mean They would lose fan base if Fitz is starting next yr, some even with him just being on the team. I would like him as a backup, nothing more. good dude not talented to get us to the playoffs.
