  1. I have been a pretty large proponent of including coaching salaries in the cap.
  2. I like him in the 3rd or later. I am not saying he is the next Tom Brady, but I believe he came to the combine under 200
  3. I would like to see T.O back here under the new coaching staff, but if Carucci wrote it your safe money is on the opposite. Again, I wish people would stop using him as a source. Other than living in E. Amherst, he is almost always way off on most NFL insight, and ALWAYS wrong about the Bills
  4. my later round draft picks at qb are either snead or tony pike. I like pike alot bug kid, strong arm, just let him develope a bit, he will be good.
  5. Niagara Falls Stadium. The Grand Island Bridge cant handle the traffic it has now at 5pm on a weekday, let alone a 70,000 football fans. Tailgating. Really people think that a Niagara Falls stadium will have the same aura to it as the Ralph, and tailgating will be exactly the same. C'mon, it is not that way at all, it will totally change. Theres little tailgaiting at HEinz Field, the rest gets done in Bars. So expect Niagara Falls to become more overpriced than it already is.
  6. Actually Eli , Warner, and Rivers are all pretty mobile. Peyton can leave the pocket if needed. Brady not so much
  7. First off, I am not a RW fan, infact I was totally against his induction into the HOF. However this article is formed by loose ties and is unnecassarily brash and uneducated. While I disagree with a lot of his football minded decisions, never once do I question his character as a man, nor should the author of this article based on some half truth he posts about the Saints and Sabres.
  8. what i really like about this idea is that we are making more holes in team that has too many other important positional needs
  9. Well I would take garrard from them if possible. I am not totally oppossed to Vick, but at what cost, for how long, and in what role. He could work(crossed fingers). I just didnt see much out of him this past season in the limited role he had in Philly. Trading up for Tebow in the 2nd would be insanity. If we take him in the second, he better turn out to be the golden boy. I just want to see some competitive football out of the bills at this point. I will follow whatever with the new regime, and trust it works for the time being. I am just so desperate for football here that I dont care what we do anymore. If all this stupid stuff doesnt work, I think we officially become the Oakland Raiders. Also what is going on with Culpepper. Is he available or on a trade block. He is a guy whould could be an excellent mentor to a rookie QB, and I think he still has a season or 2 of decent ball left in him
  10. I am unsure of this guys record as far as injuries and time missed due to injuries. I am not defending him, but you do know that a college football rosteris much larger than an NFL's, and most D! schools have trainers that handles 2-3 teams(all different seasons). Anybody who is S&C at these schools normally graduate with atleast a masters from a D1 sports school and stay in the same program. Because of the workload involved at the college level most of these guys get paid way more and recieve better benifits for their families by staying in college. The guy could be a complete bum for all I know, but there are reasons to stay in college and not move to the NFL. Heres to staying healthy
  11. yeah he was an awesome qb coach. our offenses where stagnant when he was incharge of off qulity control, whatever that is? We also watched our last two qb's REGRESS under his tutalage. Our offense was abismal this year, the worst I have ever seen it. What about that coaching resume screams success to you.
  12. This only bothers me because of the Minn game. I thought the first half was riddled with uncalled roughing the passers. I totally agree with the fact that qb's are over protected in the league, but there has to be some level of protection, and everybody on the field seemed to be looking the other way at that game. There are plenty of teams that go aggresively go after the qb, and plenty of that get there(legally) and do some damage. Last weeks display of clear cheap shots (there where tons that didnt include the one at the end of the game) and some of the things eluded in the interview are concerning. If it were not for last week I would have brushed this off as nothing. I do hope that the refs dont go crazy over protecting Peyton after this. Hopefully he hits the dirt hard a few times. Just a side thought. If it seems to be a defenses clear intent is to injure a player as a part of the game plan, could their be a rule protecting that. ie a total of 6 late hit penalties (on any player on the field) by a defense = ejection of dc. I am not necassarily for this, but what if we turn on the super bowl and it is late hit after cheap shot all night long?
  13. I couldnt understand what you where saying with Edwards penis in your mouth
  14. hes right. Young at the end of his career is goo dbut not great, Mcnabb is good but not great, romo is one of the most over rated player in the league. I am not sure I would call him the next Jerry Rice, but I think his stats would be pretty close
  15. I am pretty confused as to what is going on. Why hire a LB Coach before a DC, or is the DC already in place? Some speculate that our DC is on a Super Bowl team. If we hire the experienced DC, its not Gregg Williams, or we are going with the Tampa 2 and Larry Coyer. Otherwise we are hiring a positional coach from one fo the two teams if this is in fact true
  16. The bills need a long term fix at qb. I am not sure how many good seasons McNabb has in him. We have had a few past their prime FA come here to die in the last few years I think. Giving up a first day pick for Mcnaab would ensure that there is not much of a grooming process for any other qb. Would rather trade for Troy Smith, I said this last offseason as well. He is much younger, and possibly the best QB in Baltimore. Injured 2 years ago when won the job over Flacco, then Flacco just remained. He could be had for maybe a 3rd or less. The first two rounds could then fill need. He has tremendous upside, and is pretty NFL ready I think. Just a thought.
  17. no not nearly as bad as the bills were, but all but maybe the Jets do not make it to the conference games. lets take the team away and trent v. individual I see trent as 0-3-1 against those four guys. Tie with Sanchez
  18. I believe Thurman created that date in an interview on WGR
  19. seeing as Kurt Warner put up some unreal number last night(so did Rogers, but Kurts where better). He wasnt the best last night. He isnt the best right now but he will be. I think the current superstars(ie Brady, Manning, Warner) will be phasing out in the next few seasons, and as the tide changes, Rogers will come out as the best in the NFL
  20. boy it is that simple. lief must be easy for you. Marty has said a million times HE IS DONE, and Cowher has to agree to work here. Russ and Buddy cant club him and throw him into the back of a black van. So since neither seem to be coming here I guess we just dont play football because these two guys are the only options. Hell we cant get Marty out of retirement, guess its time to sell the team. C'mon
  21. ok now lets pick from the decent ideas/guys that might want to come here. being upset over getting a coordinator doesnt make any real logical sense. How do you think any HC got to where they are now. Not to mention just about any HC worth anything is either employed or is not leaving their current gig to be apart of this disfunctional family. I am fine with getting a coordinator, just as long as we get a good one, rather than a midlevel on the cheap. Everybody is all worked up over looking at coordinators, it is perfectly fine with me, and and as the playoffs progress we will most likely find ourselves talking to more
  22. I love Mcclain. I think he is cant miss. He would be hard not to take with just about anybody on the board at #9. I think if Clausen or Bradford are there at 9 you pull the triger without hesitation(they wont be so i guess that is moot) Pull the triger on Tebow only if he is available in the 3rd, if Pike and Lefeouver arent there, and we havent gotten either Bradford/Clausen(again wont happen) in the first or a QB in the second
