  2. Correct you are. DW is our GM! Not sure what role Russ was playing. He only had 1 line and it was in response to something Costner said. I get the feeling that he was one of the GM's high-up assistants because one of the other guys in Buffalo's office did most of the talking (I think his name was Alec or Alex)... But then again, it was Russ was the one seated behind the desk which I assume would be the GM's office... I guess it's not really important! Not quite... They did mention that they DID scout him but just didn't do a 100% thorough job since they didn't think he'd be in a position to draft him.
  3. I don't remember seeing that but yeah, it's kinda funny.
  4. Whats up friends? It's been awhile since I've posted. Anybody get a chance to see Draft Day yet? I went today to see it and I thought it was very good. I'm both a Kevin Costner and Ivan Reitman (see my tag) fan so I was probably predispositioned to like the movie. I believe this was the movie that was originally intended to be about the Bills GM but we unfortunately lost out the Cleveland. Russ Brandon had a small cameo in the movie. I'm not sure if the other people in the room with Russ in that scene were Bills people or not; but I thought it was cool to see our GM in the film. They also had a nice poster / painting of Jimbo behind Russ's desk. I was also happy to see that Reitman did a nice job of showcasing each of the cities / stadiums that were involved in the story line. When Buffalo was introduced they did a nice sweeping shot of the stadium and the ritzy waterfront areas of the city. I'm not from Buffalo so I wasn't sure which area this was, but it looked nice. The only person who looked like a fool was the fictitious JAX GM. In Summary, this is a very good movie and it kept me guessing as to who CLE would select. You're all football fans so I think you'll like this movie
  5. Glad Jimbo seems to be doing better. Considering the massive operation he had last year, it's hard to tell that he had anything done!
  6. Clerks II is one of the funniest movies ever. Too bad it gets so little love
  7. What the hell is up with this guy. Last week he was held out for Q1. This week a full half. He doesn't seem like a problem player, at least judging from his behavior in the media and on the field. Hope this gets resolved next year.
  8. Couldn't have said it any better.
  9. Yep. I'm sure it will be three or 4 by the time the game is over. I think the best thing that can happen is that Glennon throws 5 more TD's. Maybe this will wake up our front office, and we'll draft a real QB next year. And get a real OC.
  10. 3 TD's for Glennon. Super
  11. EJ has seriously declined this year. We will probably draft at number 4, and we MUST draft a QB. There are too many instances of rookie QB coming in from Day 1 and leading their team. EJ is not doing this why waste 2 -3 more years learning to see if he's the guy when we could draft the guy next year!
  12. This game has the feeling of a 45-3 loss
  13. And way to go Stevie. Way to drop another
  14. Uggh I can't stand watching us play. Glennon has out-dueled EJ this ENTIRE season!
  15. Except ATL is a team that actually has playoff talent on offense. We have have marginal talent.
  16. Looks like we've packed it in for the year. No effort
  17. Glad he's OK. I'm here in Houston and generally speaking, on most days (especially Mondays) he's public enemy number one (perhaps he and Schaub share that title). I was glad to see the amount of concern that fellow Houstonians displayed last night and today.
  18. Video of our own Jim Kelly talking about EJ and other rookie QB's. Nothing earth shattering although he mentions that playing in front of a friendly crowd this past week probably helped EJ. Jim by the way looks GREAT considering he had a significant portion of us upper jaw removed! Glad to see he's up and about. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/video/nfl/20130930/2013-09-30-clip01.sportsillustrated/?sct=nfl_bf1_a4
  19. If we can get some of our DB back then I like our chances. Bonus if Freddy and CJ are back. Nervous to see EJ on the road again, in prime time i think the D will need to carry us again.
  20. But wasn't it going to be 3rd down & 45 seconds?
  21. Why all the hoop-a-la with the kneel down? Why was EJ even trying to draw it out. Didn't we have 45 seconds on the clock with two downs to go? Maybe I missed something?
  22. Just wondering if anyone has heard anything about possible suspensions for Willie Colon and D'Brikashaw Ferguson based on fall-out from the Pats* / Jets game. Would love to see them both suspended for a game. For now, I'll take a win any honest way we can get one.
  23. Phew... what a game! This was the type of gane that we used to lose! Anyway, curious to know the thoughts of the folks who hace a better football eye than I regarding big MD. I thiught his rookie uear was promising but ever since he's taken a lot of heat from folks on the board. Today, I think was one of the best games we played on D in years. How much of it was MDs doing? I know mario had a fantastic game and i saw a few plays that Darius was doubleteamed... Which perhaps helped mario have the kind of game that he had....Also, he seemed to get some QB pressures too, at least from what i could see from watching the game in a bar! Discuss
  24. 24 - 10 pusstcats. Sorry
  25. Don't get me wrong. I love FF, but I'm a Bills fan first. In fact, I'd give up a kidney or half a liver, maybe a few fingers or so if it would guarantee that I see us win a SB in my lifetime.... Still, if you've never played FF, you should try it. It makes many of the games so much more interesting... especially if you have Sunday ticket. You can watch the game that has the biggest FF implications.
