  1. I think Chix have been following the game plan that the originally envisioned and I don't have problems with it. We had so many problems with our team and they chose to fix the Defense first. While I'm sure they considered fixing the O, they felt it was more important to solidify our Defense considering that we ran a horribly undersized Tampa 2, 4-3. So while they focused on Defense, they spent a fewer later round draft picks on Oline (guys like Wang), picked up a few castoffs from other teams (Ubrik), and worked with developing the current on-team talent (Bell). These guys may not be the greatest, but they could end up being solid back-ups so that next year when we hit O line hard in the Draft, we will have already developed solid depth.
  2. I think they address O line/TE next year in the draft. Any O line players that become available during free agency might be considered for depth, but they will look to find the superstars in the draft.
  3. Well of course. He's as big as the moon, and has a dark side too!
  4. +1. I was just going to ask if he is in yet (hard to see on my computer, resolution isn't great)
  5. No, I believe both are sitting this game
  6. Actually, they didn't look ALL that bad. The one INT was Henne's fault. The other was in and out of the hands of his WR and the D was right there to catch it. He also had a long TD. Their D on the other hand was torn up by ALT. He's to hoping they are last in the AFC East!
  7. Hell no! A. He probably wouldn't want to come back here. B. He took plays off. No thank you! C. Why stunt the development of our younger players! No TO
  8. 2020 Olympics in BUFFALO, NY! We have a stadium. But seriously, that is indeed good news for us Bills fans
  9. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/6851925/buffalo-bills-roscoe-parrish-miss-first-preseason-game-leg-injury I really think he is going to be the odd man out. He doesn't have the greatest durability and he's getting older. We have good WR depth and I say they trade him for a late round pick (or maybe a starting LT )
  10. I hear what your saying, and you make good points. Ultimately, it will be interesting to see how it all really plays out. I just hope we make it through preseason w/o serious injuries. I didn't know that Easley was back doing drills. This is good news.
  11. I hear what you're saying, but they won't be so quick to give up on a 4th round pick... If he keeps getting injured... maybe but at the very least lets give him a chance. He should be ready to play in the 2nd preseason game at the very least!
  12. Roscoe won't be on our roster much longer. He simply does not do anything that other players can't do. I know he was on pace for 800+ yds last year, but we have a young, talented receiving corps. I'm sure most of you by now have either watched or heard about the remarks Chan made about Roosevelt's awesomeness ("God didn't make him biggest, God didn't make him fastest, but the man can sure play"). Bottom line, Naaman makes the team. Roscoe is fast and shifty, but so too is Spiller. Roscoe returns punts, but so too can Smith and Spiller. Roscoe will be the victim of the move toward youth. Nothing wrong with that I say. I think we keep 6 Receivers on the roster: 1. Lee 2. Stevie 3. Easley (When will he scheduled to practice again? Maybe we'll see him in the 2nd preseason game?) 4. Jones 5. Roosevelt 6. Nelson
  13. I agree w/ both of your points. Ultimately I think we keep Evans (unless somehow we could get a 3rd rd pick for him or a nice OT). Bye bye Roscoe.
  14. I think they try and trade Parrish. might get a late round pick out of him
  15. Chan said something in one of the post practice interviews that was a little concerning. Basically, he said that our D got a lot of penetration on the edges. Although that's good four our D, it's not so good for the people playing OT for us....
  16. I talk regularly, with Chix, Whaley and RW....
  17. Interesting stats OP. I do see cause for hope, but I believe we need to get better at run blocking. Fitzy is not a QB you want throwing 35-40 times a game. With that being said, I do think we the new toys that Chan went out and acquired that our O will have a better season.
  18. http://rob-rang.blogs.cbssports.com/mcc/blogs/entry/13682485/31195642 Any of you think that we might go after a RT (or additional OL depth) in the supplemental draft?
  19. That just means he'll be good when we address our O line AFTER NEXT SEASON
  20. Yeah, they worked for me once or twice last year, but for the most part, not so much. Live radio would be fine as well...
  21. I figure that I'll be proactive this time around and not try finding a link 10 minutes before a game starts SO, how do we go about watching streamed NFL games this year? I remember that ATDNE.net got shut down last year; I had the best luck with them. Are there any newer alternatives out there? I spent 80% of the time outside the US of A, therefore any suggestions will have to work internationally!
