  1. An average salary for the league, or an average salary for a starter, or an average salary for a guy that played less than 50% of his team’s snaps and produced over 5 sacks? Know what I’m saying?
  2. The only thing of which I can assure you regarding Kirko is that the Bills are aware of his plans.
  3. I am not so self-aggrandizing to believe that Beane and I have the same board, but if he’s like me and has 20-22 true first-round grades, he’ll either move up or back in round 1. If it’s back, and he picks up, say, a 3rd for going to 27-30, then I definitely see a few trade-ups in store. I know people will kill him for it in a WR-heavy year, but man I’d love to get CeeDee Lamb.
  4. I think there’s a very good chance that they draft a pass rusher early regardless of what they do in FA; ditto for WR and RB. At this point I fully expect Beane to maneuver for 3 day-3 picks to stock the roster with fresh talent at WR, EDGE, RB, and CB.
  5. Keep. Murphy. The odds that this team ends up with 4 DEs that are better than him are very, very, very low.
  6. Levi? I think he can play. No worse than a backup boundary corner, and he can get you through half a season as a starter if needed. He didn’t say no big spending; he said “not in the deep end of the pool”, which to me means “quality over quantity”.
  7. ? Makes sense, as wasn’t Bobby Johnson an Asst OL coach with the Raiders?
  8. Depends. I mean, yeah, for most of the population it’s probably no big deal... but everyone that comes into contact with the virus is a potential carrier...and those people have families, and many of those families include elderly people and people with weakened immune systems. In the very least it’s prudent to ensure that organizations do what they can to stop the spread.
  9. Man, I thought I had a good bead on the Tre deal at $16.4M. Guess I’m about $2.5M low if that’s true...but something tells me that the figure posted here is agent-talk. I’ll wager the highest FA corner deal comes in at $17M per
  10. The more often Edmunds gets to rush the passer, the better this defense will be; his ability to pressure the QB as a plus-1 is rare.
  11. And everyone can thank the Raiders and Broncos for paying Trent Brown and JaWuan James $16M and $13M, respectively But a smart team will get an economical deal by offer sheeting Feiler to a front-loaded deal worth $8-10M per
  12. Yup. Guys that are athletic, can rush the passer as a non-blitzer, and can acquit themselves in coverage aren’t common enough to fall far.
  13. I would much prefer something like: 1) FA or trade 2) Brown 3) Beasley 4) high draft pick 5/6) McKenzie/Roberts/Duke/RoFo
  14. No need...I’m already aware that sometimes teams make moves that don’t help them for reasons that don’t benefit them. I’m saying let’s not do that again
