  1. Indeed. That was largely tongue-in-cheek; the implication being that the team is still missing that breakaway speed in the backfield is all.
  2. I agree. I think they will end up picking twice in round 4 and that’ll be that.
  3. Not sure if I should be happy or frightened by the fact that we’re in total lockstep on both of these picks. Good players that belong in the NFL, but generally “safe” picks.
  4. It also doesn’t warrant a personal insult. Especially from a mod. Unless the goal is to get that person to bugger off and not express a future opinion. That’s where I stand, and I’ll leave it there.
  5. Maybe they’ll look at Isaiah Coulter or John Hightower to play that role
  6. Agreed. I definitely see Moss as a Marion Barber type. My concerns are that there’s no “second dimension” to Buffalo’s ground game (aside from Allen), and that the Barber types don’t typically last long into their second contract given the beating that they take. But if it delivers a Lombardi here I’ll be just fine. As to Duvernay, he’s the “Big McKenzie” type I think we’d all like.
  7. They've obviously never seen Mrs. Bandit.
  8. Never said I was...I’m also not a mod. And I’ve NEVER outright insulted someone for simply stating an opinion one time. Now if the same person goes on and on about the same thing in every thread, sure, I’ll needle them. But this one was way out of line, and I hope if I did something similar that a veteran poster would have the kohones to call me out too.
  9. What a post. The dude expressed his opinion with absolutely no animosity toward anyone. This response is totally uncalled for.
  10. Huge run on Bandit’s guys at the end of round 3: Evans Duvernay Greenard Troutman Eliot
  11. Oh I like Moss. I just believe that this backfield is utterly bereft of speed.
  12. Oh it definitely makes us better; I’m just not sure if it adds that explosive dimension that the backfield is missing
  13. Well, he’s 5’9” according to his combine page, and when guys like McCaffrey, Saquon, Zeke, etc are all 6’0”, yeah, I’d say that qualifies as small in stature.
  14. I was just thinking that the one thing this offense is missing is a small-statured RB that runs in the mid 4.6’s and lacks breakaway speed. Wait...
  15. Uninspiring pick, but he fits their prototype LDE. I wasn’t a big AJE guy, so I’ll be in “trust the process” mode on this one.
  16. Please. Don’t. Tip. Picks. EDIT: apologies if that’s not a tip
  17. Imagine NO trades their 2021 1st round pick to Miami for their earliest 2nd rounder.
  18. But he didn’t run a 4.4, whereas McKenzie did. And you don’t need to spend a 2nd round pick on a McKenzie type with size. You plucked McKenzie off the waiver wire for nothing.
  19. No worries; I’m not upset, just believe that we’re not getting anywhere and I have too much respect for you to keep on browbeating with my take.
  20. He does? Daboll’s route concepts are among the most complex in the game. Laviska has a pretty underdeveloped route tree. He’s also not exactly a burner, and Dabes likes speed. That’s not exactly a fit.
  21. So basically you’re saying that every single statistic from NextGen is invalid. 8+ in the box percentage? Nah, that’s wrong. Lower efficiency number means more of a north-south runner? Nah, that’s wrong too. High average time behind the LOS and high yards before contact per carry? Gotta be wrong. I mean, this discussion has basically been me saying “here are the numbers” and you responding with “***** the numbers, my eyes tell me otherwise”. It’s not going anywhere so I’m out man. Catch ya on the flip.
