  1. When he's on the field, he's anything but average. I've posted the numbers many times; when he actually gets targeted at the same frequency as guys like Julio, Antonio, and OBJ, he's at least as productive. In fact, there's an argument that he's MORE productive on a per-target basis.
  2. You haven't looked...of this I'm certain
  3. It's both...I felt that he was a poor allocation of all resources (money, roster spot, time in pursuit). If he plays, and plays well, then I'll do as I always do and change my disposition.
  4. That's my beef with the move John--he's unlikely to even be active on the Week 1 roster barring injury. Groy will be the interior backup and the odd-man-out of Henderson/Mills/Dawkins will be the swing OT. That means that he is, at best, your 8th OLman.
  5. I'd like to see someone else win his spot, but the reality is that (a) they gave him a 3-year contract that would cost more to cut prior to this season than it would to keep him, and (b) he's gotten first-team reps in OTAs, mini-camp, and TC.
  6. I think it depends upon the player. If you watch a lot of the All-22 on Taylor (and IIRC you do), there's one thing that tends to stand out: he doesn't throw with anticipation very often. That changes significantly when Sammy is in the lineup; Tyrod trusts him far more than any other target he's worked with in Buffalo. The ball comes out earlier, and--because of Sammy's ability to get open and ball-tracking skills--there's more real estate on the field to make what Tyrod feels are "safe" throws. The more time the two of them have in practice to gain that comfort level, the more freely Tyrod will operate in the passing game.
  7. Well, they did finish strong with Matt Moore at the helm, so that's something
  8. I would say it's a concern, but I wouldn't call it a problem at this point. If fully healthy, I don't think it's a long shot that Henderson could fill in for Kouandjio as the swing OT, which means that the real question is whether or not Dawkins can be an upgrade at RT over Mills.
  9. I can't find my pre-draft notes on him unfortunately, but here was my quick-hit thought on him from back in 2016: https://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/184223-2016-draft-d-line-thread/page-24?do=findComment&comment=3927399
  10. I agree on QB/DE/S. I'm less concerned at RB with Taiwan Jones in the fold. Between Jones/Williams/Tolbert, I'd like to think they can cobble together a running game if they needed to in the event of an injury.
  11. That was me. He was very good at Wyoming; explosive and disruptive
  12. Changes I would make: Corey Brown to red Brandon Tate to blue Nick O'Leary to blue Adolphus Washington to blue Bacarri Rambo to red
  13. He played most of the 2015 season with the foot issue
  14. Good to know that your track record of always being wrong about Watkins is intact Literally always. It's almost as if you're joking, because it's nigh impossible to believe that you could be as off-target about him as you are in 100% of your posts about him. He HAS to be playing at this; there's just no way he's serious. I've been convinced since the discussion about how Sammy has a drop issue and won't go over the middle, during which his take was thoroughly debunked with hard stats, and yet there was zero acknowledgement
  15. I was wrong? My point wasn't that he's done it a lot, but rather that, yes, we've seen it.
  16. Did I miss something? https://giant.gfycat.com/ClumsyThatBumblebee.webm
  17. Hopefully it's about more than just beating the replay system. I'd like to see increased situational awareness in short-yardage scenarios. Watch how quickly NE hurries to the LOS to run a sneak or dive in any 1-yard-to-go situation; they've even occasioned to PA pass off of it with great success. Knowing when to increase or decrease the pace of your offense is critical in this league.
  18. Did you know it's a national chain? WNY has 3 locations, yet there's only like 4 other locations in the US--it originated in Oregon I believe. Anyway, I was there on Sunday, and polished off an entire apple pancake, side of bacon, 3 buttermilk pancakes, 2 of my wife's leftover gluten free pancakes, and a few miscellaneous table scraps. Hey, it was a refeed day
  19. Petite Petite is my favorite bottle of red wine...unbelievable value for $18
  20. Honestly thought this thread would be about Billy Johnson
  21. Food: Buttermilk waffles topped with bacon, maple syrup, fried chicken and maple gravy Drink: Dark roast coffee with heavy whipping cream and maple syrup
  22. Patience Yolo...patience
  23. The mix isn't really the issue--I struggle with cooking them. I've read to keep the griddle on low-med heat, but then they don't brown nicely. If I keep the griddle hotter, they don't seem to cook in the middle. Ugh.
