She already made her own saber--the white/blue one she has in the first trailer. The one she was using was destroyed at the end of Episode 8. And yes, I think there will be some type of time jump. Not that the canon really matters anymore, but kyber crystals can supposedly be any color. In some of the book lore, the color of a saber corresponded to the "mission" of the Jedi: Blue for guardians Green for counselors Yellow for scholars Purple for those who'd experienced moral uncertainty from being tempted by the dark side And I still want to know where Anakin comes in

Report: NFL owners pitch 18-game schedule
thebandit27 replied to nucci's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Because the owners need to start building up "negotiation capitol" for the upcoming collective bargaining talks. They start the campaign for an 18-game season now, build as much momentum for it as possible, and then give way during negotiations so that the players association can claim a victory. -

I'm sticking with my statement that it'll be Allen, Hekker/Brock Miller (whoever LAR cut), or Colquitt/Gillan (whoever Cleveland cuts) -

Rams and Browns both have two very good punters if preseason is any indication. I expect that, between the loser of those two competitions and Ryan Allen, the Bills will find a quality punter -
Contract extensions are of very little concern for at least 2 years. After 2019, the guys that are noteworthy UFA/RFAs are: Shady Gore McKenzie Spain J. Phillips Shaq LorAx Stanford K. Johnson Hauschka Maybe you re-sign Gore. You can probably keep LorAx pretty easily since he'll either return or retire. Besides those guys, I can't imagine they spend any serious money on the rest. Then, after 2020, you're looking at: Barkely DiMarco Zay Nsekhe Feliciano Dawkins Murphy Milano Poyer They'll probably want to keep Dawkins, Milano, and Poyer. No real bank-breakers there. Money is not an issue for this team.

https://www.playsmartplaysafe.com/focus-on-safety/protecting-players/nfl-return-to-participation-protocol/ " Step Five: Full Football Activity/Clearance After the player-patient has established his ability to participate in non-contact football activity including team meetings, conditioning and non-contact practice without recurrence of signs and symptoms and his neurocognitive testing is back to baseline, the team physician may clear him for full football activity involving contact. Once cleared by the team physician, the player-patient may participate in all aspects of practice. If the player-patient tolerates full participation practice and contact without signs or symptoms and the team physician concludes that the player-patient’s concussion has resolved, he may clear the player-patient to return to full participation. For the avoidance of doubt, if a player cannot participate in practice or full contact with other players due to the time of year and/or rules imposed by the Collective Bargaining Agreement, simulated contact activity will suffice to satisfy this step. Upon clearance by the team physician, the player must be examined by the INC assigned to his Club. The INC must be provided a copy of all relevant reports and tests, including the Sideline and Booth UNC reports, the Booth ATC Spotter report and team injury reports, and have access to video of the injury, where applicable, and the player-patient’s neurocognitive tests and interpretations. If the INC confirms the team physician’s conclusion that the player-patient’s concussion has resolved, the player-patient is considered cleared and may participate in his Club’s next game or practice.

Belichick said today he didn’t know Luck retired

What an a-hole thing to say. He knew, but he's got to keep up the whole "we only worry about us" shtick to the point where he can't be honest? -
Week of Preseason Game 4 - updates

I'll go ahead and predict that Buffalo signs whichever punter Cleveland cuts -
Some context is required here: 1) Clowney has made 3 consecutive pro bowls. I realize that's not all-pro, but the notion should hardly make you laugh. For the record, Clowney was indeed a 2nd-team all-pro in 2017. 2) Clowney had 2 very good years in 2016 and 2017...seasons in which Watt played a total of 8 games and had 1.5 sacks. Conflating Clowney's production with Watt's presence is not an accurate depiction of the situation. 3) He's more of a chess piece than other players at his position. He played 700 snaps as an EDGE defender in 2018, but he also played 100 snaps as an interior rusher and 30+ snaps as a standup 'backer. That's just for 2018; the mix was even more evenly distributed in 2017. 4) I've said it before: since week 1 of 2016 only one player has more TFLs than Clowney...Aaron Donald. The dude is really, really good.

If you get a chance, there's a Taiwanese whiskey called Kavalan that's absolutely incredible.

Lately it's been all rum for me. Except for yesterday--I was hosting a Japanese-themed birthday party, so I went with Hibiki 17.

I have to be in the mood for Talisker, but when I am, the brinyness is so welcomed.
