  1. 1. Edwards' concussion early against Arizona 2a. Ginn's 60+ Yard pass reception (off McGee) Immediately after Buffalo 'took control' at Miami. 2b. Edwards fumbling @ Miami on an already successful sneak (whistle should have gone) 3. Elam's pick 6 for the Jets 4. Lindell's missed FG against Cleveland Monday night 5. Losman's SEVERELY underthrown fade pass on first down and goal 6. Losman not being able to hold onto the ball with 2:00 left on the play action against the Jets. Considering the doom and gloom... these 6 plays could have been the difference of us being in the state we are in now... Or scrambling for playoff tickets. with the exception of #1, most are a combination of coaching creating an optimal situation for failure, along with a severe failure on the Bills' part of executing.
  2. we should make it like a home game for New England.
  3. id say schottenheimer. give him personnel and coaching.
  4. almost every decent playoff caliber team in this league has a 1A receiver. The Bills need that. It would make Trent better and it would make a Schouman/Fine TE combo better. They need to procure one of the top FA WR's this year. In addition, a C is needed who can contribute within the next two years, and have upside for beyond that time. I really like the dude from Alabama. We need a good pass rushing DE, either top flite from the draft, or if not, FA. I believe if its the right personnel, this team can make Jauron look very good.
  5. with all the misery going around, I truly do feel we might be a good draft and FA class from being very competitive. I like your drafting plan right there.
  6. People in Philly (where I work) B word and moan when the Eagles lose and want to run him out of town. Judging by the language of the team and things like the benching, I think that could be a likely thing. I always say that We'd happily take him off the Fecal's hands and they dont know what they would be doing. If they got rid of McNabb and Reid, they would be in the dark ages for a long time unless they got very, very lucky.
  7. yeah. he also ran to te stand to get a retaliatory beer and returned, but then Beebe dropped it.
  8. I dont know if there would be such a clause in the contract, especially if it was agreed to in week 8. But I do agree I think a lot of the sketchy details may possibly indicate an amicable agreement for release
  9. you make your own luck. the bills tempted fate by calling that play. just as they did against Cleveland settling for a 47 yard field goal try.
  10. they need someone at the top. They had the right idea with Donahoe, but that ended in disaster. They need a football/business guy on top, who can evaluate talent. Not a marketing man (Brandon) who is about 10 years from being removed from being a Florida Marlins intern. Also complimented by a truly moronic John Guy and Modrak. Then the thing could be built from the top down and we would have a good organization. I dont think Wilson is going to relinquish control and the dollars for this to happen.
  11. Im not sure he wishes death on Wilson in the letter. I had to reread it because its not clear. He mentions the possibility of things changing once RW dies/selling of the team or whatever. Than he says that 'he should just get on with it...'. But he isnt talking about death, I think he means he wants RW to get on with selling the team, moving the team, whatever the future holds before he passes away.
  12. with that said too, imaging if the roles were reversed with the Maple Leafs (yeah I know, far fetched). I think people of Toronto would have plenty of insults to sling our way.
  13. I dont hate Canadians or blame them.... (just a select few WEALTHY ones). This game was a failure and fell way short of what they were thinking would happen. They expected (and i thought it would happen too)... the tickets, no matter the price, to sell out immediately, tons of hype, people in Toronto would thirst for a franchise, the game hits, a sea of Canadians making tons of noise and waving towels during a great game proving that the Bills or some expansion team should come to Toronto. The opposite of that happened. The Canadians are more than welcome at Bills games or anywhere else as far as I am concerned. Makes the gameday better.
  14. anybody know if there are any good: C, TE, DE, OLB available via free agency this coming offseason? WR?
  15. I will stay out in the lot if this is a serious attempt. We need to spread the word.
  16. it IS more than the game. I drive from Philly for the games. I take Monday off of work. I get up at 7 and go tailgate with about 15 of my closest friends. At this stage of my life, those Sundays are the ones I really look forward to. It is much, much better when they win though
  17. It was bad. Horribly boring game, which magnified the stale atmosphere. Honestly, as Bills fans who dont want the spark to create a fire up there, this was the best thing possible.
  18. Im going to renew. $250 a seat is pretty spectacular.
  19. its all good though. Im happy the bills gave up a home game for every year. Ralph gets a lot of money for that. 8 Sundays is too much for me anyways, and I like the fact that I dont have to go to as many games.
  20. they will have to lower ticket prices next year quite a bit. what a snoozer
  21. did anyone else notice Pennington drag Pozluzny 5 yards? should have traded up for Willis.
  22. very good points. I was one of the last supporters for Jauron. I was there right up until last week (despite how disturbed I am about the ending to the Browns game). After last week I felt that Jauron should probably go. Now I am thinking he is probably as good as canned. They need a real GM and not some Marketing pencil-pusher who got a promotion.
