  1. Itll poison the well. No self respecting football exec or HC will want to work here. If he wants to make the decisions... just spare us the chirades and make Russ Brandon, Marv Levy, or Buddy Nix the GM again
  2. I do not agree. I don't believe the Bills are close at all, and are better off cutting the line and going all out on finally rebuilding. This drought is largely a byproduct of continually trying to patch a systemically leaky boat each season. They need to go all out and find the QB and build/continue to build in the trenches. I don't think this team is only a matter of 'fix the defense' away from competing. It will be something else. I don't see the offense replicating this season. Everytime McCoy gets tackled I hold my breath. Taylor is a liability, as a running QB, he takes a lot more hits than a QB should take. They have a major hole at WR and are largely one-dimensional.
  3. If this is true, then we are truly screwed. Im no Whaley fan... but if Pegula wants to interject with every decision, the Bills are in worse shape than ever. It is like we have a younger, less knowledgeable Ralph Wilson
  4. he is like the people on facebook who post the 'woe is me' posts, then says nothing else when everyone asks them what is wrong
  5. It is incredible that they feed this out and people eat it up. This is the exact card they played when Ralph Wilson 'stepped down' and it was treated as a reset once and for all...
  6. I always thought it sounds very silly when the bills or even fans talk about making the playoffs as the goal. Miami's season with a bunch of smoke and mirrors wins and a road playoff blowout is not impressive. I would take it. Heck, even an actual meaningful december or week 17 game at this point... They really need to fix the organizational structure. Its a fragile thing. Even amidst super bowl years, egos tore it apart. Lots of entrenched egos there now. They need to put every resource into finding a franchise qb. Lastly, they need a smart, adaptable, hard working, hungry for glory, and detail oriented head coach.
  7. Remorseful for the most correct decision
  8. I thought a lot of roster decisions were rex and not whaley?
  9. We need runners, and tight ends who dont get hurt
  10. Its tough. I have no faith in management whatsoever Not falling for the whole "bad decision makers are getting out of the way" bit. The Bills have used this card so many times and shouldnt get away with it.
  11. I think it was kind of tolerated and expected because everyone knew ralph wilson was the boss. Things like cash to the cap and bills in toronto took preference to winning. With pegula, the standards instantly changed. Especially with the lessons learned with the sabres, it was unexpected and extremely frustrating that pegula decided to continue the same lineage of failed management, thinking that throwing money at them would fix the many shortcomings
  12. She looks much better in the less 'staged' shots and without 1/2" of makeup. Those angled/crop photos always raise red flags for me.
  13. To me, it seems so obvious that the thing needs to be razed and rebuilt for real *hint* the Bills haven't had a true rebuild in the past 20 years. The team constantly plugs holes chasing an 8-8 record... hoping to get lucky and hit 9-7 and make the wild card.
  14. I watched all that and I enjoyed it immensely. The shtick got old though IMO... maybe it was when he started doing the homerun derby and going over the top for that. Imitators also wore on the act. I want to slap anyone who says "Raidahs" like that. Not that I wanted or needed him gone... Something is going on at ESPN. NFL Primetime used to be the exclusive and universal meetingplace of all NFL fans. Now, with FNIA, a lot of people... probably most, tune in there instead. I havent watched Primetime in years if it still exists. ESPN is evolving I guess. Into what, I dont know. A lot of the programming is garbage, like someone said: Just panelists yelling at each other. Live sports though, ESPN is in a class of its own IMO.
  15. His persona grew quite a bit stale over the years... and "Football Night In America" effectively ended the "NFL Primetime" institution anyways
  16. my theory is, they told Whaley to try to distance himself from Rex as much as he could so they could push the whole "fresh start" and let "the general manager of football" make the decisions at long last... But Whaley took it too far and pretended to have nothing to do with the head coach... and who is head coach is rather insignificant to him. Quickly painted himself into a corner and It came off botched and unbelievable.
  17. This is preposterous, and couldn't be less accurate. It isn't fun at all being a season ticket holder and continually throwing late season games in the trash. At this point, I can barely even imagine an actual meaningful December game (not just to remain on the 'in the hunt' graphic). It would be like a dream. I have spent pretty much all of my useful years as an adult and a STH watching them be an irrelevant mess. And it isn't 'the media' who caused it 100% of me wants them to be successful. They are unable to do that. I look at other successful sports organizations... and compare them to the Bills under both Wilson and Pegula. The Bills (and Sabres) are not close to being sustainably good. IMO, both franchises desperately need outside help at the top level... and have needed it for a long time under multiple owners. Watching what occurred Monday was not a well oiled organization. It indicates the opposite is true. This is not a fabrication of the local media.
  18. This is/was my feeling 100%. Half measures/changes are the worst case scenario IMO for a lot of reasons.
  19. That is an example... they also ranked last in pass defense so there is that... The bottom 6 of the NFL includes the Jets, Houston, Cleveland, Buffalo, Rams, and 49ers. Not good company... It is necessary to create some kind of air attack.
  20. Evil media. No sources, time stamps, blood or stool samples
  21. I love how every dark turn, people attack the source
  22. Is russ brandon getting his resume out to teams looking to fill a gm/owner position?
  23. then they will decline. If York provides assurances to get the heck out of the way... then they may sign a contract.
  24. I see they are going for Caserio and MCDaniels as well. Would love it if the Bills were that serious https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/815911262664216577?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw 49ers requested interviews with Josh McDaniels for HC job, and Pats' Director of Player Personnel Nick Caserio for GM job, per source.
