  1. That doesnt strike me as a very strong denial of anything
  2. yes, and you KNOW Belichick is smarter than that. He knows that it isnt easy to develop these guys (Hoyer, Mallette, Cassel, etc...). He had to have wanted to move on from Brady. I would, and as a Bills fan, I was hoping that the Patriots wouldnt
  3. We do have something tangible out of this though Garappolo has been traded. I got indigestion last year watching him play and imagining another 12 years of this. His play with San Francisco reaffirms the AFC East dodged a bullet.
  4. i do think there has always been an elephant in the room. the question of coach or qb always comes up (as far as credit). i could definitely see brady freaking out trying to last to belichicks end. if belichick dumps brady to the cardinals, brady stinks there, and garapollo's patriots dont miss a beat... what does that do to brady's legacy? he still would have it, but the background grumbles of belichick's mastery would be too much for brady to handle.
  5. please let the bills end it in 2 weeks...
  6. this thing better produce a couple future Bills
  7. There is a message on the page from the woman who organized it, thanking everyone and also informing of the new goal.
  8. this is correct. In fact, since Donahoe, I truly believe that Levy, (Brandon), Nix, and Whaley were largely middle-men for ownership, Brandon, Littman, Overdorf, etc to make the weighty decisions. Whaley played a role for sure in identifying talent, some roster structure stuff (shared with the coaches). Organized his scouting and evaluation staff, etc... but this team was REALLY run by the wrong people for too long. I don't feel bad for him. Under Nix, he likely learned what was exactly expected of him and he went along with the opportunity, being well aware of the parameters It seems like McDermott is finally the iceburg to break that up, along with Beane. This team has been acting differently since last summer and it has been obvious. Being more proactive, ripping the bandaid off (compare the Watkins vs Byrd situations), a nice trade-down in round 1. Eating dead cap money, etc. Whaley certainly has a decent eye for talent, especially on the DEF-side. He doesn't strike me as a guy who I would trust with the mode of my entire organization. Seems very passive and relaxed. Publicly seems very wishy-washy. I would also be a little guarded based on his feuding with 2 coaches (which could have been a result of being a middle-man). He seems like a good guy, he will get a pretty good job somewhere before too long
  9. what is it, a 23 year playoff win drought? OK Bills, who wants to help their charity?
  10. This x1000 Those two are extremely talented.... (ill put Rush up there as well). To carry as show like that, virtually solo 95% of the time, hours every day, all year, for many, many years.... AND get people to listen is a big deal. I graze Cowherd and Rome and generally I do agree and appreciate a lot of their viewpoints. The format of Rome's show grates on me sometimes (I REALLY dislike the whole caller/smack talk/get hyped up for a 'macho' pre-rehearsed monologue thing and I immediately tune out). Another amazing one is Scott Farrell. Can catch him at nights on 1270. That guy is amazing.
  11. Lol @ $41K This is great. Those kids are going to have a nice opportunity to play sports/have fun.
  12. lol, they have to think that we are nuts
  13. Its been a very good year for us and the Bills. Between the good start with some press, then an actual recovery from the slip-up. Then you have that snow-game and all the fun that came out of that and the crazy imagery and people/players having fun in it. Then this crazy NYE victory aided by Dalton/Boyd's 4th and 12 play.... followed up by the spontaneous and grassroots gesture of giving to their charities. From the outside it has to look fun. We have been kind of hidden over the past 17-20 years due to irrelevancy. We have actually claimed relevancy out of our game-day atmosphere and hi-jinks... but with a playoff berth and positivity it reaches a new level. People dust themselves off, patch up their tables and give with their hearts. I bet Goodell must be pleased with this. Out of the continual tough press inflicted by the NFL, especially this year. I wonder how much more primetime exposure we could get in 2018?
  14. they need the picks. if them and/or the chiefs were lower in the standings i could be enticed to trade up. not now. i would go with alex smith maybe to bridge another year (or tyrod)... and if they still see some potential in peterman, or if their scouts have identified an off the radar qb that has the mental goods... they can have on the shelf for a year or 2 to season.
  15. i would take him as a head of pro scouting or maybe an agm role... but certainly not the gm.
  16. if they bills win im doing another round of donations.
  17. i just sent my 17 to brother andy
  18. he was giving them props diring their 5-2 start
  19. can we talk about this team's poor onside kick defense? cannot continue, it will bute them
  20. i didnt cry. i was in disbelief. i teared up a little though watching the airport greeting.
  21. loved their body language. especially in contrast to bob kraft who just sits there, waiting for good things owed to him so he can give his weak high fives
