  1. Raji, Monroe, Orakpo, Curry, Pettigrew.
  2. I'm not sure why everyone here thinks that the tackles who will be available at 11 project to be so much better than the tackles at 28. Pettigrew can block. Period. That hepls the run game, that helps the passing game, oh, and he can catch which also hepls the passing game. He is, by far, the best tight end. All of you who think that another tight end in the draft can do what Pettigrew can are mistaken. So, he's doesn't have blazing speed. Does Gonzalez? Everyone wanted us to trade for him. We need help. Great players, great team players. This guys loves to block as much as a lineman. Read the article that was previously posted on Pettigrew. IMHO, he helps us more at 11 (of the players who project to be there) than anyone else. IF he's the FO choice, I'd be thrilled to have a guy like this one my team. I don't think he'll last to #28.
  3. I think they should take him. He's being called the best TE in what like ten years? With our tackle situation you need a TE that can block. This guy can do that. Waiting to take the tackle at 28 with a great TE prospect blocking with him, IMO, is the best case scenario for the Bills. Any tackle they take at 11, could possibly slip, based on which team likes the second tier tackles. Unless Smith or Monroe drops, I think Pettigrew is the choice. He would help with anything we do on ofense this year. A stud DE would be great, but I don't really believe there will be one at 11. Our defense is good enough to get by.
  4. What about the Mike-Meyer's? Good ol' Nick and Steve. Remember them?
  5. Is this better? Kelsey got $3 mill for two sacks, Schobel who I do understand was hurt, but not impressive anyway got 7.1 mill for one sack, Denney got 3.1 mill for 4 sacks, Bryan got 374,800 for one sack, and no other DE (by my research) got one. So that's roughly 13.5 million for 8 sacks. Our overall payroll was ~113 mill, so about 10 percent of all payroll for 8 sacks. That's around 1.7 mill a sack. Hardly a bargin. Factor in a first rounder at 11, Mckelvin got around 8 last year at his #11 spot, and you got an overpaid and underproductive squad of DE's. We need the upgrade, I'm not saying we don't, but we also need to cut cash at the spot.
  6. How much money would you allocate to paying DEs? We pay Scho-ver the hill, I'd rather be at Denney's, and Kel-sux lots o' dough. If we cut one of them, then I could see spending 1rst round $ on one. I'm not saying DE isn't a priority, but could any more money be spent on a lack of pass rush? Add up the totals, and I'd be very curious what we pay per sack (even per tackle) from the DE position. We need an upgrade, but we also need to cut the cash at that position.
  7. I absolutely agree with this. JP was the only one able to throw over the heads of the under 6ft receivers, TE just needs time with Hardy to get there. The problem is, Hardy being so tall, and everyone else being so short, TE has to adjust based on who he throws to. Life with under 6 ft receivers still hurts us in the long run.
  8. Love this pick. I'm tired of overrated PSU guys.
  9. Or impregnating 10 other women. I feel bad for him, he has soo many kids and Baby's mama's to feed.
  10. We should bring in Leftwich, we have needs at C and Gaurd. Those are the only positions I'd let him play. Oh, and maybe tight end. Can he catch?
  11. Didn't they switch to the red helmets so Joe Ferguson could figure out who was on his team? Back then most teams had white helmets, and Fergy needed the help.
  12. I haven't been to a game in 5 years, because of where it is. I gave up season tickets because the team was going nowhere (and still is) and the drive home is unbearable. If the stadium was easier to get to from Rochester, you would draw more.
  13. The lastest is they take Brown, and we take Orakpo.
  14. Amen. What a novel idea and actual GM of an NFL franchise?
  15. I say we trade down to try and get more picks for more help. Supposedly the draft this year has a lot of DL talent.
  16. I like the idea, although his performance inthe playoffs is a little un-nerving. What about Billick? He's won.
  17. Couldn't have said it better myself. Do you think it'll be possible someone will be able to come in and buy the team and keep it in Western NY?
  18. Didn't the Bills petition the league for a public sale of the team like Green Bay has?
