Since being 5-5 after the Denver game the Bills have played, in succession: - the Jets, who had beaten us earlier in the season and supposedly had a defense that was "embarrassing" elite QBs - the Eagles, who made the playoffs, in Philly - the Chiefs, who won their division, in Arrowhead - the Cowboys, who won their division - the Chargers, on a short week after traveling across the country - the Patriots, who had also beaten us earlier in the season - the Dolphins, who made the playoffs, in Miami - the Steelers, who made the playoffs Five of those teams were ahead of us record-wise at some point in the second half of the season and two others had already beaten us. Not to mention that the Chiefs, Cowboys, Dolphins, Steelers, and Patriots might just be the five most annoying fanbases in the entire NFL. The Bills went 7-1 against that group and the lone loss required a 59-yard FG in the rain to even happen.... and the team that beat us went on to implode in fantastic fashion afterward. While that was going on the team had to deal with the Dunne hit piece on McD, the Diggs nonsense from Timmuh, and yet another devastating snowstorm. I don't think it can be overstated how impressive that run is. Most fanbases would be satisfied with that kind of record against those franchises over a full season. The Bills did it in less than half a season, in consecutive games, and after the Eagles game every single game was pretty much win or go home (or ask for a ton of help). Three more games to go.

I haven't invented any motives or narratives, nor have I tried to malign the woman. I may or may not be a nutjob. Anyway, what if her PR team contacted the NFL and said "please stop showing her every five minutes; she doesn't like the attention and she just wants to watch her boyfriend play"? Without inventing any motives or narratives, I'm guessing that call never took place.

The Steelers should be embarrassed by this. The key blocks that sprung that run downfield were thrown by Deonte Harty and Andy Isabella. #23 went down like a ton of bricks and even Patrick Peterson wanted no part of Josh. Defenders are making business decisions when they see that freight train coming at them, and that's fine. What's not fine is trying to paper it over by claiming it was a "fake slide." It makes them sound like a drunk standing by himself in a bar who says "if there wasn't all these guys holding me back, I'd kick your ass."

It's gotten a lot worse since they closed off that trail from the big lot on California Road after that kid died. In the '90s we would pay five bucks to park there. Owner still probably cleared a couple grand in cash every home game.

The best part is watching the fan base of every team we could potentially play in the playoffs whine incessantly about anything that somehow could be construed to benefit us. It’s fear. Miami was afraid, Pittsburgh was afraid, now KC is afraid. Next week it’ll be Baltimore or Houston.

Now that the game is in Buffalo for the first time in eons, it’s important that the game be fairly called. I get the sense this will be a major thrust of KC’s media/PR efforts this week.

Mahomes runs as if he’s about to slide on every step and that’s how he gets his yards. By the OP’s definition he would lose 15 yards on every single run. Allen runs through, over, and past people and the OP has a problem because he changed direction.

I love this news but the ankle is a funny thing. My son broke his a few years ago and the initial x-rays were negative; after the swelling went down they did an MRI and found a fracture. Just too many little bones in that area. If it’s only a sprain, well, thank the baby Jesus.
