  1. I don't understand why people think a dome of ANY kind would have gotten this game played tomorrow.
  2. The Steelers are now flying in tomorrow night, arriving at 7 pm. I would think that getting their flight in safely and at a reasonable time had a little bit to do with the game being moved as well, so their fans can just ***** off with their comments.
  3. I don't understand why this is so hard for people to grasp. For the last time, the snow accumulation itself is not the problem.
  4. So by this logic, every team coming off a bye or mini-bye should be favored in any game. That isn't how it works.
  5. id like to know what he was saying when it was 120 degrees on the Bills’ sideline in Miami last year.
  6. Jesus people. Last Saturday I got stuck in that stupid East Coast storm coming back to Rochester and it took me three hours to drive from Princeton to Stroudsburg before I finally called it and got a motel room to ride it out. And I wasn’t dealing with 70,000 drunk fans either. ***** happens. Blame the league for scheduling us on Sunday when they knew by the end of last Sunday night that this was most likely coming.
  7. I know statistically it is way safer to fly than drive in this *****, but it would take a lot to get me on that plane. Or at least an edible.
  8. And according to FlightAware, the plane itself is currently at JFK, with weather already approaching PIT. Keep an eye on that.
  9. Steelers are scheduled to leave PIT at 3 pm. That should be a fun flight in for them.
  10. oops. I knew he was on some network I don’t watch
  11. Sounds a lot like Bill Parcells to me. A guy that would never put up with Jerry's antics and meddling. Oh wait.
  12. Good, maybe they won't need Nick Wright's services anymore.
  13. The pecking order goes like this: 1. Money 2. Safety 3. Convenience And there's a big huge gap between (2) and (3).
  14. I'm sure that your convenience is a priority for them.
  15. If the thruway gets shut down, nobody is coming here from PA. That's fine with me.
  16. Second best Weber State athlete ever, after Damian Lillard, who is also ridiculously under-respected.
  17. The only thing I saw that was scripted about that game was the bull#### spot after the 4th down play just after the 2 minute warning. The league was going to make sure those last two minutes meant something.
  18. Judging from the rump-licking Belichick has been getting on NFLN and ESPN all morning, you'd think Saban and Carroll didn't even exist. Also, Scott Pioli on NFLN just now talking about how the Pats* are going to follow the Rooney rule and all other protocols "because that's who they are, they respect the rules and do things the right way." 🤣
  19. Stephenson was in an unenviable position. All of Knox's veterans got old at the same time and then the USFL came along and took Cribbs and kept us from getting Kelly until 1986. Bullough though, that's the guy that took the sails out of our wind for awhile.
  20. Congrats to one of the few (only?) TBDers to have his name used as an autocorrect! Yes... we have been around here a long time. Enjoy the adventure. My youngest turns 21 next week, exactly how old I was for SB XXV. I believe fervently in our kids doing better than we did.
  21. Bye cheater
  22. Especially when if you go to his online player bio it says “There are no statistics available for this player.” I used to know a guy who was on Dartmouth’s squad in the early ‘90s when Jay Fiedler was their QB. He couldn’t ever get through a conversation without bringing up that he played college football and owned three Ivy championship rings. His playing career consisted of a single kickoff coverage in the final game of his senior year. He has his three rings encased in a glass box on his mantelpiece. That’s what I thought of when I saw the helmet. Look, I know it’s a big deal to make a college roster in any sport, particularly at the D-1 level. But it’s always the guys that didn’t play who brag the most about it.
  23. Listening to a caller on WGR say he’s coming up for the game from PA. His wife is a Steelers fan and he said “I can’t wait to get back home and rub it in her face.” um….
  24. Every single Miami fan would trade Tua and their firstborn for Allen in a heartbeat. That's one thing that's different now compared to the '90s rivalry. The vast majority of both fanbases would never have traded their QB for the other.
  25. The fact that we are 51-28 against the Dolphins since 1987 and will be leading the all-time series in two or three more years makes me pretty happy.
