  1. I know, hence my sarcasm
  2. I was being sarcastic.
  3. This wouldn't happen if they had built a dome /derp
  4. Bruce would also schedule his surgeries so he would have to spend as little time at training camp as possible, and when he didn't have a surgery he'd hold out anyway. And then he'd come back and make a ridiculous play in his first game and you'd be like, yeah... he's worth the money and the hassle. He just was. Except when he didn't get his flu shot. 😡 As great as Bruce was.... it's Josh and it's not close. Seems he's doing something literally every game that no quarterback has ever done before. We are blessed.
  5. The hilarious thing is that the league moved Josh so CBS doesn't have to subject the country to Niners-Dolphins. And on top of that, the Patriots are just along for the ride.
  6. Because I took my wife out to dinner for her birthday and left my phone in the car on purpose. That will fill up your karma bank right quick.
  7. It’s refreshing to have a Pro Bowl wideout who doesn’t mope and sulk and make cryptic tweets when he doesn’t get any targets.
  8. It was my wife’s birthday today, of course, so I took her out to dinner. I watched the first quarter before we had to leave (while she was getting ready), then turned my phone off. The place where we went had a bar with a TV tuned to the game and I stole a quick glance while walking in to see that it was 14-7, which wasn’t terribly surprising. Fortunately the dining room and bar were in separate rooms. We had dinner reservations at 5, and stayed until 7:30. Came home, and my wonderful wife gave me permission to watch the game immediately. I just got done watching a little while back and, MAN, was that fun. I’m sure the GDT was a GDM at times. But the overall impression I got from this was that we punched them in the mouth. Sure, Goff had 500 yards passing playing catchup against a depleted back seven, but let’s be honest: this game was never really close or in doubt.
  9. Jets playing their way out of a chance at the top pick, good to see.
  10. More like 20. That was the team that got Jauron hired here. Five giveaways by the Browns and the Chiefs still only have 21 points.
  11. Good job going out of bounds, Pacheco lol
  12. Why’s he still slurping on his mouthguard when he’s out of the game?
  13. Oh now they’re calling O-line penalties on the Chiefs with Mahomes out of the game?
  14. All part of the legend. And there’s the call to take a first down away from the Browns, the same call the league refuses to make on Jawaan Taylor 20 times a game.
  15. Mahomes is exactly like LeBron when it comes to the “injury” drama
  16. We’ve seen that movie before.
  17. Here we go with the fake limp from Patty after the fourth-down failure
  18. To quote one of my favorite lines from Platoon: “And then, maybe.”
  19. Well, he wasn’t exactly a Rhodes Scholar to begin with. As George Carlin once famously said, “Some people leave part of their brains at home when they go out in the morning. Heyyy… some people don’t have all that much to bring out in the first place.”
  20. Those of us of a certain age remember these guys well. Very well done film, in my opinion. But watching these guys move in their "old" age is a sobering reminder of how violent the game was back then. Just about every play they showed would be a 15-yard penalty today. Salaam died recently from multiple health issues, Gastineau suffers from dementia, and it's obvious that neither Klecko nor Lyons can walk without pain. Some Bills stuff in there: they showed Marty Lyons "giving [Kelly] the business down there" and also showed one of my favorite plays, Bill Simpson's goal line INT of Richard Todd to stave off a furious Jets comeback and win the '81 divisional playoff game at Shea.
  21. I’m convinced Puka somehow catches that last pass if it was last week.
