Yeah. Thurman Thomas, Andre Reed, Eric Moulds, Jim Kelly, Will Wolford, Bruce Smith, Willis McGahee, Lee Evans, Shane Conlan, Nate Odomes, on and on... yeah, we've really disappointed our fans the way the Jets have over the years.
Or we can use him the way we used Don Beebe. Stretch the field, open things up for Moulds and Evans (the way Beebe did for Reed and Lofton), and provide a three-wide attack that takes the pressure off McGahee (the way those guys did for Thurman). Just a thought.
I can't say for sure because I was putting the kids to bed, but I thought I saw a pick or two before the Bills picked that Parrish was the fourth best-available guy on Mel's list.
I don't know if anyone has said this yet but to me it's the first indication TD doesn't expect Nate to be back next year. At the very least Parrish can replace Nate's punt returns next year... and he will be a better all-around player on the roster this year than Freddie Smith, who, let's face it, is not a #3 receiver.
How is Aundray Bruce not on this list? And in terms of setting back an organization (since that IS the criterion), Jeff George might be a good one to list as well.
Fair enough.
I live in Pittsford too and one of the reasons I moved here was that, even though I loved Penfield, I couldn't stomach the thought of driving 441 for the rest of my life.
No it's not, and especially not in the winter during hockey season. You kidding me? 441 to 590 to Lakeshore Blvd through Durand to Pattonwood over the old Stutson Bridge (not like now where it's a straight shot to the Parkway) to Lake Ave to the Parkway to Greenleaf to Lakeshore?
It might not be 45 but it's a hell of a lot closer to 45 than 15.
