  1. This is all so great because they really believed they had something after pulling that Baltimore game out their ass and then beating us in week 3 with half our defense out and it being 115 on our sidelines. So they went out and got Chubb, who’s been trash since they paid him. And now they’re in cap jail with no QB, no draft picks, an insane owner, and a nerdy coach. Such a shame.
  2. i would love to know what was going through the minds of every Dolphins fan and executive when Chubb couldn’t even close the gap between him and Josh on that sideline throw just before the half.
  3. This is every weak-armed QB. Kelly threw like that his last couple of years. Even Josh did it when his elbow was bothering him. Do it for too long and eventually the rotator cuff will start to bark too.
  4. His hip injury took away what ability to run he had, I think.
  5. Did Apple make a play on him earlier that made him mad? It seems Jones likes to cheapshot guys who make him look bad. He’s getting quite the reputation around the league. To use a baseball analogy, he reminds me of a pitcher who likes to headhunt (especially after giving up a HR), doesn’t have to bat (just like how the QB is protected by more rules), and has no regard for how it impacts his teammates. One of these days either he or a teammate is going to get lit up or seriously injured, and a message will be sent. He’s messing with guys’ livelihoods out there.
  6. At this point, a “real” OC would probably ask for a new QB before agreeing to come.
  7. As soon as he’s around the team long enough to actually have to learn a gameplan and think his way through a game, he’ll regress. He had plenty of talent around him in Cleveland and McVay is proving that even boy geniuses need talent. Talent and coaching aren’t the issue. I don’t wish him ill, but he is what he is. I believe Beane would have taken Josh even if Baker had been on the board.
  8. And it keeps you drafting in that 12-16 range. If you have a first round pick, that is. 🤣
  9. Dredging this one up from early in the thread. Even though he grew up outside Buffalo and played at Syracuse, I never liked or trusted DJ, not because he played for the Cowboys, but because he once admitted he grew up a Dolphins fan. In Buffalo. After that he was dead to me.
  10. exactly what @FilthyBeast and @Airseven are doing over here.
  11. They are not winning both of their next two games. [checks schedule] well, maybe they are.
  12. Literally yesterday I had a Fins fan tell me “see you in three weeks.” LOL
  13. Yeah, that’s the MVP right there lol
  14. Meaning, they actually have to stop holding.
  15. Still a long way to go. These Dolphins are as good at stepping on their own d---s as they are at grabbing others.
  16. And Green Bay really sucks. Holy crap. What kind of stupid idiotic ***** was that?
  17. Christian Wilkins is really not a likable person.
  18. Long way to go yet before they win this one
  19. Miami is holding on every play to keep Tua's pocket clean. They've been caught a few times but have gotten away with more.
  20. It doesn't seem to as long as you can leave the ball up there long enough for these guys to run back to it.
  21. The ref blew the whistle when it was rolling sideways at the 11 or so, because he jumped the gun. Once he blows the whistle, play's dead. I think he just wanted to get his ski mask back on.
  22. If I had to bet, I’d say the Bills know the magnitude of next week’s game and what they need to do to succeed on O against that D. And that’s probably why they didn’t do much of it yesterday. Why put extra looks on tape yesterday for Cincy to study when the talent gap was big enough to win anyway?
  23. This one made me laugh. He can’t even try to draw a flag without looking like a little b itch.
  24. He did; wasn’t it Roquan Smith?
  25. I see no reason why we shouldn’t try that stuff. It puts more things on film for our better opponents to think about, and it’s less risky because we know we’re good enough to win anyway.
