  1. Me too. I liked the guy. Seems he had to do 90% of our games during the drought.
  2. I get people misspelling Epenesa. I don’t get the constant use of “Mahommes.” I mean, what are people looking at? Watch it be Carl Cheffers. it’s Shawn Smith
  3. Man done ***** around and he about to find out.
  4. He's also practicing today.
  5. Harris Teeters? Safeways? Giants? Food Lions?
  6. stop. He’s playing.
  7. Blah blah blah. From the Athletic: The biggest game on paper this week is the Monday night tilt between the Bills and Bengals in Cincinnati. Who has the edge as these teams continue to fight it out for the top seed in the AFC? Graff: I’m taking the Bengals at home. Since Week 9, they have the best offense in the NFL according to EPA per play, one spot ahead of the Chiefs. The Bills, meanwhile, rank 11th. Time is running out for them to return to the form we all expected as season-long Super Bowl favorites. So give me Joe Burrow at home. Jones: I think the Bengals can get the job done again. They’re the hottest team in the league, riding a seven-game win streak, and I don’t see any reason why they can’t continue this brand of complementary football that is carrying them. Joe Burrow and his defense have already bested Patrick Mahomes. Josh Allen is next. Sando: The Bengals at home have been my choice in this game for the past few weeks, and I’m sticking with it. They should get Josh Allen’s best punch, which could be enough for the Bills to win. I just like how Cincinnati has been playing and think they should be able to pull this one out at home. Great analysis. “Time is running out for [the Bills].” “I don’t see any reason why [the Bengals] can’t continue.” “I just like how Cincinnati has been playing.” 🙄
  8. Stand tall, I’m old and Talkin’ Proud
  9. Narcissistic personalities often have a different view of relationships. You could be thinking some guy is a real DB and be surprised (and initially feel a little guilty) to hear the same guy say you’re a great dude… because they’re so in love with themselves that they can’t even fathom someone else not feeling the same way about them. Not saying Burrow has narcissistic tendencies. But I’ve seen that movie many a time. They’re the same people who refer to “Mahommes” [grinds teeth].
  10. That was SB XVII for me. I drank a beer every time the Cowboys scored. Good thing Beebe caught Lett.
  11. One person’s troll can also be another person’s neverending source of entertainment. Which is, I suspect, the real reason some of these posters have lasted this long.
  12. That’s definitely changed. 40 years ago there were a lot more Giants/Browns fans here than there are now. Most of them have died off.
  13. Where is Sowomon Weowcots these days anyway?
  14. I wouldn’t call him a *****-talker. He said too much - surprising for a veteran - but it was hardly that bad. My definition of a *****-talker is still Tim McKyer, who said before the Dolphins-Bills rematch in 1990 that “the Bills without Jim Kelly are like a hand without a thumb” (Reich carved him up) and then said before the playoff game, “I challenge Jim Kelly to throw my way” (Kelly obliged and hit Lofton with a TD right over him). And then the media will still have Burrow over Josh for MVP because garbage-time yards. That’s fine. Winning the game is all that matters. Marino threw for more than Kelly in that ‘90 playoff game and the media creamed themselves … as he booked a tee time for the following Sunday.
  15. and that was WITH La’el Collins at right tackle.
  16. All that is actually cool. Would be even better without all the people.
  17. I don’t even go to Super Bowl parties. Too many people not watching the game. This feels like that x 1000. You know where I would want to be when Buffalo wins the Super Bowl? Right here in Western New York. The celebration is going to be AMAZING.
  18. Hate that there are still too many Giants fans in Rochester that the affiliates won’t get rid of a boring-ass Giants game and let the rest of us watch a game that matters a little.
  19. And just when have they beaten us?
  20. What are you talking about? Eli had the two greatest SB victories of all time. Well…two of the top three. 😜
  21. Plunkett is in the College HOF. He is not in the Pro HOF, which is what I assume you were referring to. Madden was another one until Stabler finally got in.
  22. Tom Flores. And Joe Gibbs. that…that’s about it. But most of the quarterbacks they won with were still a damn sight better than Mac Jones.
  23. My parents live pretty close to Glendale, so lodging wouldn’t be an issue. I guess if a ticket were to fall into my lap I could make it work. But I’d rather be with my people. I wonder if they’d have a watch party at the Ralph. I try not to imagine this too much, but the entire region will be a victory parade for at least a couple of months.
